이 연구는 씨름지도자의 지도행동 유형과 성취목표지향성의 관계를 규명함으로써 현장의 지도자들에게 경기력 향상의 기초자료를 제시해주는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구대상은 대한씨름협회에 등록된 전국 35개 팀 382명 중 250명을 모집단으로 설정한 후, 무선집락표집법을 이용하여 최종 242명을 SPSS 15.0 프로그램으로 빈도분석, 일원변량분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석 등을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 씨름선수들의 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 성취목표지향성의 차이검증 결과, 학년별 과제지향성에서 경력별은 과제지향성과 자아지향성에서, 훈련시간별은 과제지향성에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 씨름지도자의 지도행동 유형이 성취목표지향성의 하위요인 과제지향성에 따른 다중회귀분석결과 훈련 및 지시 행동, 전체적 행동, 긍정적 보상 행동 등에서 통계적으로 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 지도행동 유형이 자아지향성에 따른 다중회귀분석결과, 훈련 및 지시 행동, 민주적 행동, 전제적 행동 등이 자아지향성에 통계적으로 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상과 같이 결과를 종합해 볼 때, 씨름선수들은 훈련 및 지시행동, 전제적 행동, 민주적 행동, 전제적 행동 등에서 성취목표지향성에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to present the teaching direction to leaders on the field, by closely examining effects of Ssireum leader"s teaching behavioral type on achievement goal orientation. The research subjects were used the random sampling method after having population as high-school students who were registered in Korea Amateur Ssireum Association. Among samples in 250 people, 242 copies of effective samples were extracted. Frequency, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were carried out according to the analytical objective by using SPSS 15.0 statistical program. The significant level in hypothesis verification was inspected in the level of p<.05. First, as a result of carrying out the multiple linear regression analysis in order to closely examine the effects of teaching behavioral type on task-orientation factor, which is sub-variable in achievement goal orientation, the training & coaching behavior, molar behavior, and positive compensation behavior factor were indicated to have statistically positive(+) effect on task-orientation factor. Also, the teaching behavioral type was analyzed to have explanatory adequacy in 57.5% as for the whole explanatory adequacy that has on task-orientation factor. Second, as a result of carrying out the multiple linear regression analysis in order to closely examine the effects of teaching behavioral type on self-orientation factor, which is sub-variable in achievement goal orientation, the training & coaching behavior, democratic behavior, and molar behavior factor were indicated to have statistically positive(+) effect on self-orientation factor. Also, the teaching behavioral type was analyzed to have explanatory adequacy in 63.83% as for the whole explanatory adequacy that has on self-orientation factor.
