        완벽주의와 분노 표현양상 간 관계에서의 인지적 대처전략의 매개효과 검증

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of cognitive coping strategies on the relationships between multidimensional perfectionism and anger expression. A sample of 238 undergraduate students(127 men and 111 women) completed Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale, Cognitive Emotional Regulation Questionnaire, and State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory. Two mediating models were hypothesized in this study. In the first model, it was assumed that adaptive cognitive coping would mediate the relationship between self-oriented perfectionism and adaptive cognitive coping. In the second model, it was assumed that maladaptive cognitive coping would mediate the relationship between socially prescribed perfectionism and maladaptive anger expression. Hierarchical multiple regression was conducted to examine the predicted mediating effects of cognitive coping. The results showed that self-oriented perfectionism directly influenced adaptive anger expression, and that socially prescribed perfectionism influenced maladaptive anger expression both directly and indirectly through maladaptive cognitive coping. Therefore, while self-oriented perfectionism increased adaptive anger expression, the mediating effect of adaptive cognitive coping predicted in the first model was not supported. However, as predicted in the second model, maladaptive cognitive coping did mediate the relationship between socially prescribed perfectionism and maladaptive anger expression. These findings suggest that self-oriented perfectionists and socially prescribed perfectionists cognitively process failure experiences in different ways. Finally, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed with suggestions for the future research.

      • HPLC에 의한 5´-Mononucleotides의 분리에 관하여

        Standard chemicals of 5'-Mononucleotides were assayed with HPLC aparatus (Bioanalytical Systems Inc. U.S.A) Each of 5'-Adenosinemonophosphate, 5'-Inosine monophosphate, and 5'-Guanosine monophosphate was resolved and quantitatively assayed separately by use of μBondapak NH_2 column and UV detector(254nm). Eluting solutions were those of 0.01M NH_4H_2PO_4 (pH3.0) and 0.125M NH_4H_2PO_4 (pH5.0). Gradient elution method that is to make 0% 0.01M NH_4H_2PO_4 solution to 100% concentration within 50 minutes, was applied in this experiment. Mixture of the above three mononucleotides were isolated and resolved clearly. It is proved that Assay and resolution was able for the mixture of 5'-Mononucleotides by the method of HPLC with the above experimental conditions.

        9학년 신경계 영역의 수업에 따른 개념의 지위 중복 분석

        The purpose of this study is to analyze change of the niche overlap of students concepts in 9th grade nervous system domains through the classes. The analysis was performed by changing in niche overlap graph, niche space size, and overlap index through the classes. 412 9th grade students participated in this study. Concepts in neuron, central nervous system, and peripheral nervous system were selected from preliminary survey. The questionnaire was composed of neuron, central nervous system, and peripheral nervous system. Students were asked to complete the questionnaire before and after classes. The findings is as follow. First, the level of understanding and relevance of scientific concepts were increased as a result of learning. Second, size of niche space except peripheral nervous system was reduced after classes. It indicated that deviation of understanding level and relevance of the concept declined. Third, there was a huge overlap among concepts that correlated with each domain after classes. The high overlap among concepts is thought to be due to similarity of understanding level and relevance among concepts. Based on the results, I have the suggestion. First, teachers need to plan and instruct to offer students highly relevant scientific concept in well-organized form. Second, students had lack of concepts in peripheral nervous system. In addition they had both scientific concept and non-scientific concept. Therefore, when planning a lesson, teachers need to identify students preconceptions and establish the teaching-learning strategies for understanding scientific concepts.

      • 補虛湯이 免疫機能에 미치는 影響

        For the purpose of investigate the immunoadjuvant effects of BoheuTang, BoheuTang was pretreated to Balb/c mice for 10 days with intraperitoneally. After 10 days, haptenic antigen (VCR-BSA, vincristine-bovine serum albumin) complexed with Freund's complete adjuvant was immunized. The immunoadjuvant were followed after 7 days of first immunization. The immunoadjuvant experimentswere as follows : 1. The antibody production in Balb/c mouse immunized with VCR-BSA was remarkably increased in the pretreated group of BoheuTang compared with saline treated(control) group. 2. The macrophage numbers in Balb/c mouse immunized with VCR-BSA was considerably increased about 2.9 times in the pretreated groups of BoheuTang compared with control group. 3. The lysozyme activity of macrophage in Balb/c mouse that was immunized with VCR-BSA was increased gradually in the pretreated groups of BoheuTang compared with control group. 4. In the BoheuTang pretreated group, B cell(spleen cell) proliferation was increased with a dose dependent manner. At 20μl/well of BoheuTang, B cell proliferation activity was most highest. 5. Onthe other hand, in the T cell(thymocyte) proliferation BoheuTang pretreated group had less considerable activity than in the case of B cell. These results may suggest that BoheuTang will have immunoadjuvant effects on the cells which concerned with immuno mechanism.

        소화기계 무증상환자에 대한 소화기계 약제 투약현황

        Gastrointestinal (GI) medications have been administered to many patients without any gastrointestinal diseases. The objectives of this study were to evaluate use of GI drugs and assess related factors. Medical records of 600 outpatients were reviewed from January 1997 to December 1997 at A Hospital, Kyunggi-do, Korea. Fifty patients every month among all outpatients were randomly selected up to total 600 patients. Surgical patients, visitors for regular health examination and inpatients were excluded. GI symptoms included nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dyspepsia, constipation, heartburn, dysphagia and abdominal pain. The prescribed gastrointestinal drugs were antacids. -antagonist, sucralfate, cisapride, omeprazole, laxatives, digestive enzymes and antidiarrheal agents. Patients without GI symptoms were 348 out of 600 outpatients who were screened. Two hundred and eighty two of 348 patients were given GI drugs though they did not have any GI symptoms. There were no differences in regard to sex and age of patients. Most of medical departments prescribed gastrointestinal drugs for these patients. The most frequently prescribed drugs were in order of digestive enzyme, antacids and -antagonists. In view of economic aspects, patients paid 12.28 percents of total cost per prescription for unnecessary medicines. The medical practice of prescribing GI drugs should be assessed to define appropriate subgroups to have benefits with prophylactic administration and to reduce adverse effects caused by drug interactions. Pharmacists would have a significant role to promote rational drug therapy.
