The restraint force is required an accurate measurement and analysis to protect weldment from residual stress. Also, this residual stress caused by clacks in weldments are often observed in the weldments of large size nozzles or radial tanks after welding. This paper is preformed on the study of evaluation of welding restraint forces using load cell with STS thin plate which are using pressure vessel steel in the industry field. As a result of this study, as the welding currents are higher and the welding speeds are more slowly, the magnitude of restraint force in process of the flat plate welding hows to be more large. Also, the temperature in process of melting is increasingly rising, then the restraint forces exhibit the compressive forces, whereas the restraint forces during cooling represent extensional force.

This study proposes the analysis method of time series ultrasonic signal using the chaotic feature extraction for degradation extent evaluation. Features extracted from time series data using the chaotic time series signal analyze quantitatively degradation extent. For this purpose, analysis objective in this study is fractal dimension, lyapunov exponent, strange attractor on hyperspace. The lyapunov exponent is a measure of the rate at which nearby trajectories in phase space diverge. Chaotic trajectories have at least one positive lyapunov exponent. The fractal dimension appears as a metric space such as the phase space trajectory of a dynamical system. In experiment, fractal correlation) dimensions, lyapunov exponents, energy variation showed values of 2.217∼2.411, 0.097∼ 0.146, 1.601∼1.476 voltage according to degardation extent. The proposed chaotic feature extraction in this study can enhances precision ate of degradation extent evaluation from degradation extent results of the degraded materials (SA508 CL.3)

Distortion is a potential problem with all welded fabrication and should be caused dimensional changes and mismatch of joints during welding fabrication. Correction unacceptable weld distortion is extremely costly and in some case impossible. The aim of the present work is to verify the variation of the compressive force, tensile force and distortion during plastic deformation under Tungsten-inert-gas (TIG) welding, on type 304 stainless steel. Experimental results show that possibility of measuring deformation during welding and a good correlation was found between analytical and experimental result as finite element methods have been used to model temperature analyses.

The experimental study was the cutting characteristics of non-ferrous metals. The experimental apparatus was used the turning machine and diamond tool. This aimed at finding the optimal cutting conditions by measuring surface form and roughness. Used non-ferrous metals were aluminum, brass and oxygen-free copper. As well, according to changing cutting conditions such as feed rate by measuring cutting force and surface roughness and according to cutting conditions the non-ferrous metals studied about cutting properties.
Structural and Optical Glass Characteristics for Basic a Planning of a Chalcogenide Aspheric Lens

An increasing interest in investigations of chalcogenide glasses has been observed in recent years. This interest is due to their specific properties and to the possibilities for their applications in different fields of science. The optical devices, on the basis of the photo-induced phase transition between amorphous and crystalline states in chalcogenide glasses, are possible candidates for the micro- and nano-electronics. Here, we analyzed the basic physical properties of samples of Ge-As-Se and As-Se chalcogenide glasses for planning a of chalcogenide aspheric lens. Differentiated differential thermal analysis/thermogravimetry (differentiated DTA/TG) revealed that the activation energies of the crystallizations of Ge10 As40 Se50 and As40 Se60 were approximately 3.6 eV and 3.3 eV, respectively.

Residual stress caused in the weldments with high restraint force are often during welding observed in the weldments of large size nozzles or radial tanks. The reason is that quantitative analysis about thermal stresses during welding is lack for this weldments. To verify FEM theory, the temperature was measured with thermocouple in a real time in this paper. Also analysis of the thermal stress for welding condition is performed by ABAQUS program package on various welding condition in STS butt welding.
Optical Properties of Organic Thin Film Transistors

Flexible electronic devices or stretchable electronic devices have recently attracted increasing attention. Organic semiconductor transistors have been intensively studied for such applications, as for the operation of display pixels and various sensors, and for use in logic circuits consisting of organic semiconductor transistors. When organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) are employed for the operation of display pixels or for use as transparent substrate-based sensors, the properties of the OTFTs may be changed by the light illuminating the OTFT from itself or from the outside, thus degrading circuit stability. In the present study, an OTFT was fabricated on a glass substrate by using pentacene, and light of different wavelengths and intensities was illuminated through the top and the bottom of device to investigate the additional photocurrent flowing through the OTFT. The experimental results showed that the photocurrent in a 100 nm-thick OTFT thin film had a symbatic pattern and that the photocurrent nonlinearly increased with increasing light intensity.

Also analysis of the thermal stress for welding condition is performed by ABAQUS program package on various welding condition in 304 stainless steel butt welding.
