In this paper, the diode bridge-type ZVT(Zero-Voltage Transition) inverter is proposed. It consists of one auxiliary switch, three resonant inductors and six blocking diodes So, the advantage of the proposed topology is the reduction of the auxiliary switch. The topology of the proposed ZVT inverter is analyzed with a description of the control conditions based on the load current. Therefore, this paper two control algorithms were discussed. a variable resonant pattern control algorithm by using load current feedback and a resonant period control algorithm by using resonant inductor current feedback IS proposed in order to achieve the ZVT switching condition in full control range and the reducing current spike main switches cause by reverse recovery problem.

Increasing of the use nonlinear power electronics equipments, power conditioning systems have been researched and developed for many years to compensate the harmonic disturbances and the reactive power. The main function of power conditioning systems is to reduce harmonic distortions, since extensive surveys quantify the problems associated with electric networks having non-linear loads. The main function of power conditioner compensates the current instead of the voltage. Therefore the inverter used in power conditioner is mostly current controlled type. In this paper, the proposed current control algorithm is analysed and discussed about how to design the controller which can apply power conditioning operation for grid-connective PV power system And also proposed control system. To verify the proposed current control algorithm, a comprehensive evaluation with theoretical analysis, simulation, experiment results is presented.

This paper deals with the electric energy saving system for lighting with power conditioning, which aims at the integration of power quality improvement and energy saving. The system consists of a CCVSI(Current-Controlled Voltage Source Inverter) and VCVSI(Voltage-Controlled Voltage Source Inverter). The CCVSI is connected in parallel to a grid, which can be operated to compensate the reactive power demanded by nonlinear and variation loads. The VCVSI is connected to the CCVSI through the DC capacitor (DC side) and in series on the AC side(lighting load), which can perform the energy saving. The operation of the proposed system is confirmed through the simulation and its usefulness is discussed.

In this paper, we propose the power conditioner using photovoltaic system, which is operated by the PRT(Polarized Ramp Time) current control algorithm. The proposed system could also achieve Demand Side Management's function and Uninterruptible Power Supply's function simultaneously. To verify the proposed current controlled inverter for improved quality of the grid, the detail simulation and experiment results indicate that operation PCS, DSM and UPS can be achieved.

This paper presents a implementation of the monitoring program for the analysis of electric consumption characteristics in home appliances, which uses a Labview program from National Instruments Corporation. It is can provide to be easy for small-scale researcher, development groups or individual researcher to analyze electric power consumption characteristics. Also, this paper apply to actual private home and then, analyze result of monitoring and a database result of power quality etc, like the power consumption form, power factor and harmonic which follow season, and time zone. For this measured the apartment where the family which is four lives in the object.

Recently, UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply) have been largely used to Improve power souse quality as well as to protect critical loads such as computer, industrial system, medical equipment, etc, against power outage by providing clean and uninterrupted power under power supply disturbance or interruptions. But UPS is bulky because used battery. So, UPS size issue have received attention in the power electronics industry.<br/> Therefore, this paper proposed a implementation of inside of the computer power supply with UPS by the one-chip microprocessor to minimize UPS size. To verify the proposed power supply, the detail simulation and experiment results indicate that high-frequency switching and operation UPS can be achieved.

Currently, to overcome the limit of a 14V power supply system and to enhance the stability of this system high and to make the fuel efficiency better, a research development of a 42V power supply system is actively the progress. As an intermediate step to change into an unity power supply system, a 42V/14V dual power supply system uses a DC/DC Converter as one of structure elements. Considering the main electric power sources in the next generation of the car is a 42V system, a 14V power supply system has advantages as follows : to be managed efficiently and to increase the redundancy at start, to jump start with any vehicles, etc. We need the introduction of a bi-directional converter that can flow the energy each other in a dual 42V-12V system. This paper proposed the ZVS bi-directional CUK DC/DC converter which decrease the weight with the size of the DC/DC Converter and minimize the loss when the switching happen. In this paper, a circuit design method and an action principle of the circuit was proposed. To verify the proposed circuit, a comprehensive evaluation with theoretical analysis, simulation results is presented.
