        Cardiac arrest after sugammadex administration in a patient with variant angina -a case report-

        A 76-year-old man with no notable medical history was scheduled for a robot-assisted radical prostatectomy. After the operation, he was given sugammadex. Two minutes later, ventricular premature contraction bigeminy began, followed by cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest occurred three times and cardiopulmonary resuscitation was done. The patient recovered after the third cardiopulmonary resuscitation and was transferred to the intensive care unit. Coronary angiography was done on postoperative day 1. The patient was diagnosed with variant angina and discharged uneventfully on postoperative day 8.

        실천 문제중심의 녹색식생활교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 식생활태도에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate and verify the effects of Green Food Education Program based on the practical problem solutions to the dietary attitudes of primary school students. The experimental research design was selected for comparing the two groups' dietary attitudes. The effects of the program was analyzed with SPSSWIN 18.0 statistical program under 5% of significant level. The results of the research were as follows: First, the application of Green Food Education Program based on the practical problem solutions showed the significant differences on the each of the three areas and the whole dietary attitudes between the experimental group and the comparative group. Second, after verifying the scores of dietary attitudes on the experimental group and comparing group, there were significance differences on the three areas : environment, health, and caring. Therefore, the Green Food Education Program based on the practical problem solutions proved the positive effects on the dietary attitudes for the elementary school students. 이 연구는 실천 문제중심의 녹색식생활교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 식생활태도에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 그 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 부천시 원미구 소재의 D초등학교 2학년 2개 학급을실험집단과 비교집단으로 선정하였다. 실험집단에는 학년 수준에 맞게 수정한 실천적 문제중심의수업방법과 녹색식생활의 3대 핵심가치인 환경, 건강, 배려의 내용으로 선정된 8개의 실천 문제를중심으로 하는 녹색식생활교육 프로그램을 구안하여 약 9주간에 걸쳐 적용하였으며, 비교집단에는 학년교육과정에 의한 창의적 체험활동 계획에 의해 일반수업을 실시하였다. 실험설계는 사전-사후 통제집단 설계를 사용하였고, 자료를 SPSSWIN 18.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test를 실시하였다. 이 연구를 통하여 밝혀진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실천 문제중심의 녹색식생활교육 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단과 적용하지 않은 비교집단의 식생활 태도 점수를 검증한 결과 식생활태도 점수에 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 실천 문제중심의 녹색식생활교육 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단의 전후 식생활태도 점수를검증한 결과, 식생활태도 전체 및 환경, 건강, 배려의 녹색식생활태도 영역 모두에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 이 연구의 결과를 종합해 보면 실천 문제중심의 녹색식생활교육 프로그램은 녹색식생활을 실천하기 위해 계획하고 노력하려는 의지의 발달로 인해 환경, 건강, 감사와 배려의 식생활태도 영역에 향상을 가져와 식생활태도 전체에 긍정적인 효과를 나타냈다.

        Faster R-CNN을 이용한 갓길 차로 위반 차량 검출

        최근 5년간 고속도로에서 발생한 사망 사고의 통계를 살펴보면, 고속도로 전체 사망자 중 갓길에서 발생한 사망자의 사망률이 약 3배 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 갓길 사고 발생 시 사고의 심각도가 매우 높다는 것을 보여주며, 갓길 차로 위반 차량을 단속하여 사고를 미연에 방지하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 시시한다. 이에 본 연구는 Faster R-CNN 기법을 활용하여 갓길 차로 위반 차량을 검출할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. Faster R-CNN 기법을 기반으로 차량을 탐지하고, 추가적인 판독 모듈을 구성하여 갓길 위반 여부를 판단하였다. 실험 및 평가를 위해 현실세계와 유사하게 상황을 재현할 수 있는 시뮬레이션 게임인 GTAV를 활용하였다. 이미지 형태의 학습데이터 1,800장과 평가데이터 800장을 가공 및 생성하였으며, ZFNet과 VGG16에서 Threshold 값의 변화에 따른 성능을 측정하였다. 그 결과 Threshold 0.8 기준 ZFNet 99.2%, Threshold 0.7 기준 VGG16 93.9%의 검출율을 보였고, 모델 별 평균 검출 속도는 ZFNet 0.0468 초, VGG16 0.16초를 기록하여 ZFNet의 검출율이 약 7% 정도 높았으며, 검출 속도 또한 약 3.4 배 빠름을 확인하였다. 이는 비교적 복잡하지 않은 네트워크에서도 입력 영상의 전처리 없이 빠른 속도로 갓길 차로 위반 차량의 검출이 가능함을 보여주며, 실제 영상자료 기반의 학습 데이터셋을 충분히 확보한다면 지정 차로 위반 검출에 본 알고리즘을 활용할 수 있다는 것을 시사한다. According to the statistics about the fatal crashes that have occurred on the expressways for the last 5 years, those who died on the shoulders of the road has been as 3 times high as the others who died on the expressways. It suggests that the crashes on the shoulders of the road should be fatal, and that it would be important to prevent the traffic crashes by cracking down on the vehicles intruding the shoulders of the road. Therefore, this study proposed a method to detect a vehicle that violates the shoulder lane by using the Faster R-CNN. The vehicle was detected based on the Faster R-CNN, and an additional reading module was configured to determine whether there was a shoulder violation. For experiments and evaluations, GTAV, a simulation game that can reproduce situations similar to the real world, was used. 1,800 images of training data and 800 evaluation data were processed and generated, and the performance according to the change of the threshold value was measured in ZFNet and VGG16. As a result, the detection rate of ZFNet was 99.2% based on Threshold 0.8 and VGG16 93.9% based on Threshold 0.7, and the average detection speed for each model was 0.0468 seconds for ZFNet and 0.16 seconds for VGG16, so the detection rate of ZFNet was about 7% higher. The speed was also confirmed to be about 3.4 times faster. These results show that even in a relatively uncomplicated network, it is possible to detect a vehicle that violates the shoulder lane at a high speed without pre-processing the input image. It suggests that this algorithm can be used to detect violations of designated lanes if sufficient training datasets based on actual video data are obtained.

        Characteristics of Pt thin films on WC substrate fabricated by ion beam-assisted DC magnetron sputtering for a lens glass mold

        Pt thin films with a Cr or Ti interlayer were deposited onto a tungsten carbide (WC) substrate by ion beam-assisted directcurrent (DC) magnetron sputtering. The percentage composition of Cr and Ti underneath the Pt films varied and the completethin film characteristics were used to categorize specimens. Microstructure and surface analysis of the specimens wereconducted by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffractometry and atomic force microscopy. Mechanical propertiessuch as hardness and adhesion strength of Pt thin films were also examined. Interlayers of pure Ti or Cr were formed withthicknesses of 40 nm and 50 nm, respectively. The growth rates of both Cr and Ti thin films were similar when exposed to thesame deposition conditions. Analysis of the specimen SEM images revealed that all Pt thin films investigated, irrespective oftarget composition, had anisotropic grains with a dense columnar structure. Hardness and adhesion strength values of the Cr/Pt thin films were higher than those of the Ti/Pt thin films.

        국내 유통 중인 채소류의 중금속 모니터링

        This study was carried out as a survey on the level of lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), arsenic (As) and mercury (Hg) in 5 items of agricultural products (lettuce, pumpkin, head lettuce, cabbage and crown daisy) for which safety guidelines are not yet established in Korea. The 407 samples were collected from local markets in 9 regional places and the levels of metals were measured by ICP-MS and mercury analyzer. The average levels of Pb, Cd, As and Hg were 0.026, 0.018 ,0.008 and 0.003 mg/kg for lettuce, 0.002, 0.001, 0.001 and 0.0006 mg/kg for pumpkin, 0.002,0.005, 0.001 and 0.0005 mg/kg for head lettuce, 0.001, 0.002, 0.0002 and 0.0006 mg/kg for cabbage and 0.022, 0.014,0.006 and 0.004 mg/kg for crown daisy. For risk assessment, the daily dietary exposures of Pb, Cd and Hg by intake of these agricultural products were calculated and compared with PTWI (provisional tolerable weekly intake) established by JECFA. The daily dietary exposure of heavy metals by intake of these agricultural products were 0.13, 0.56and 0.09% of PTWI, respectively. These monitoring results will be utilized as fundamental data for the establishment of Korean standards of Pb, Cd, As and Hg in 5 items of agricultural products and valuable source for DB construction for science-based safety control of heavy metals in foods including agricultural products.

        유동층 화학기상증착법으로 제조된 TRISO 피복입자의 ZrC 층 미세구조와 경도에 미치는 증착온도의 영향

        Tristructural-isotropic (TRISO)-coated particles were fabricated by a fluidized-bed chemical vapor deposition (FBCVD) method for use in a very high temperature gas-cooled reactor (VHTR). ZrC as a constituent layer of TRISO coating layers was deposited by a chloride process using $ZrCl_4$ and $CH_4$ source gases in a temperature range of $1400^{\circ}C$ and $1550^{\circ}C$. The change in the microstructure of ZrC depending on the deposition temperature and its effect on the hardness were evaluated. As the deposition temperature increased to $1500^{\circ}C$, the grain size of the ZrC increased and the hardness of the ZrC decreased according to the Hall-Petch relationship. However, at $1550^{\circ}C$, the ZrC layer was highly non-stoichiometric and carbon-rich and did not obey the Hall-Petch relationship in spite of the decrease of the grain size. A considerable amount of pyrolytic carbon at the grain boundaries of the ZrC as well as coarse granular pyrolytic carbon were locally distributed in the ZrC layer deposited at $1550^{\circ}C$. Therefore, the hardness decreased largely due to the formation of a large amount of pyrolytic carbon in the ZrC layer.

        건물 외벽체 현장 열저항과 열관류율 평가를 위한 평균법의 수렴성 지표 분석

        This study analyzed the convergence of the in-situ thermal resistance (R-value) and thermal transmittance (U-value) obtained by the average method using criteria of ISO 9869-1 and ASTM C1155-95. Onsite measurement was conducted for an northwest-facing opaque exterior wall of a 30-year-old apartment house over a period of three weeks during winter. The in-situ R-value and U-value obtained at the end of the test are 51.1% smaller and 113.0% larger than the theoretical values calculated according to the ISO 6946. These results show that identifying the in-situ thermal performance of exterior walls is important for building energy efficiency. When using criteria of ASTM C1155- 95, the minimum measurement duration was 3 days, but the results of this period showed a deviation of approximately 10% from the values at the end of the test. On the other hand, the convergence conditions of ISO 9869-1 were satisfied continually from 17 days after the start of measurement. Therefore, the findings show that the convergence criteria of ASTM C1155-95 can reduce the test duration but it is possible to derive the results with lower confidence level, whereas the convergence criteria of ISO 9869-1 increases the test duration but can produce a more reliable results.

        Intrathecal baclofen pump implantation for complex regional pain syndrome in a patient with a spinal cord stimulator: consideration about optimal location of intrathecal catheter tip - A case report -

        Intrathecal baclofen (ITB) pump implantation can be used to control dystonia and severe pain associated with complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) with or without a spinal cord stimulator (SCS). A 45-year-old female patient had gotten an SCS to control the pain of CRPS. However, she suffered from chronic intractable pain in her left ankle and foot despite paresthesia in the entire painful area because the effectiveness of the SCS gradually diminished over time. In a trial of intrathecal drug administration, baclofen was superior to morphine for pain relief, had fewer side effects, and was superior in terms of patient satisfaction. To achieve the greatest degree of pain relief from the ITB pump, the tip of the intrathecal catheter was carefully placed in relation to the SCS. Over a oneyear follow-up period, the patient experienced mild pain without any adverse effects.
