TRISO coated particles with a ZrC barrier layer were fabricated by a fluidized-bed chemical vapor deposition (FBCVD) method for a use in a very high temperature gas-cooled reactor (VHTR). The ZrC layer was deposited by the reaction between $ZrCl_4$ and $CH_4$ gases at $1500^{\circ}C$ in an $Ar+H_2$ mixture gas. The amount of free carbon codeposited with in ZrC was changed by controlling the dilution gas ratio. Near-stoichiometric ZrC phase was also deposited when an impeller was employed to a $ZrCl_4$ vaporizer which effectively inhibited the agglomeration of $ZrCl_4$ powders during the deposition process. A near-stoichiometric ZrC coating layer had smooth surface while ZrC containing the free carbon had rough surface with tumulose structure. Surface roughness of ZrC increased further as the amount of free carbon increased.

Tristructural-isotropic (TRISO)-coated particles were fabricated by a fluidized-bed chemical vapor deposition (FBCVD) method for use in a very high temperature gas-cooled reactor (VHTR). ZrC as a constituent layer of TRISO coating layers was deposited by a chloride process using $ZrCl_4$ and $CH_4$ source gases in a temperature range of $1400^{\circ}C$ and $1550^{\circ}C$. The change in the microstructure of ZrC depending on the deposition temperature and its effect on the hardness were evaluated. As the deposition temperature increased to $1500^{\circ}C$, the grain size of the ZrC increased and the hardness of the ZrC decreased according to the Hall-Petch relationship. However, at $1550^{\circ}C$, the ZrC layer was highly non-stoichiometric and carbon-rich and did not obey the Hall-Petch relationship in spite of the decrease of the grain size. A considerable amount of pyrolytic carbon at the grain boundaries of the ZrC as well as coarse granular pyrolytic carbon were locally distributed in the ZrC layer deposited at $1550^{\circ}C$. Therefore, the hardness decreased largely due to the formation of a large amount of pyrolytic carbon in the ZrC layer.

Tuberous sclerosis is an autosomal dominant disorder of cellular differentiation that affect the brain, skin, heart, kidney and other organs. we experienced three cases of tuberous sclerosis that affect multiple organs in mother and two daughters. We report these cases with brief related literatures.

Geothermal-energy has been getting popular as a natural energy source for green buildings these days. As a result Geothermal Source Heat Pump System (GSHPs) was being recognized effective alternative systems to conventional heating and cooling systems owing to their higher energy utilization efficiency. But GSHPs has not been popularized thereby the large amount of initial cost of the system and insufficiency of studies for economic estimation. Therefore GSHPs are being developed to make up for the weak points that are the large amount of initial cost of the system and much annual electricity consumption. In this paper, economic estimation was conducted by payback period method and it shows that the pay back period of Heat Storage Type GSHPs was calculated 6.8 years compared with the absorption Chiller-Heater system and 8.2 years compared with the Ice storage-Boiler system. Heat Storage Type GSHPs also has the lower annual source energy consumption than the conventional heating and cooling systems because of using nighttime electricity.
현대 장신구의 이론적 배경에 관한 연구-아르누보를 중심으로-

아르누보 예술가들은 아르누보의 특성을 잘 표현 할 수 있는 영역으로서 장신구를 선호하였고 그 양상은 나라에 따라 매우 다양하였다. 아르누보 장신구는 저질화 되는 인간 생활을 보호하려는 `인간애`와 새롭고 독창적인 예술에 대한 열정으로 채워진 아르누보의 이념의 결과물이라고 할 수 있다. 기계시대에 대한 자각으로 수공예 영역에 있어서 현대성을 정복할 수 있는 가능성을 제공한 예술 운동이었던 아르누보 이후로 장신구는 대량 생산된 모조품의 장신구와 무명의 기술자가 만든 값비싼 재료의 상업적 장신구, 그리고 예술가에게 독특한 표현영역을 제공한 예술 장신구로 나뉘어 발전하였다. 그러므로 아르누보 장신구는 장신구의 대중화와 예술적 위치 확립의 시발점이라고 할 수 있다. 아르누보와 현대 장신구의 양상을 비교하여 볼 때에 현대 장신구에 대한 아르누보의 영향을 양식뿐 아니라 재료에서도 발견할 수 있으며 그것은 현대 장신구의 이론적 배경을 제공한다. 왜냐하면 아르누보의 이념에 힘입은 아르누보 장신구 작가들의 독창적이고 효과적인 표현을 위한 재료의 자유로운 선택은 장신구의 기능을 확장했고 이것은 현대 예술 장신구의 기반이 되었다. 그리고 예술의 평가가 전적으로 예술가의 독창성에 의존하게 된 오늘날 장신구를 예술가에게 표현의 무한한 자유로움을 제공하는 조형 예술 영역이 되도록 하였다. Art- Nuoveau artists loved Jewelry as the field which excellently expressed the spirit and the characteristic nature of Art- Nuoveau. Aspects of nations were various. Art-Nuoveau Jewelry was a result of the spirit of Art- Nuoveau which was filled with humanitarianism to protect the life of human being which has become low-quality and passions for more creative works. Art- Nuoveau is an art movement which realized characteristics of the era of machines and put forth the possibility of overcoming the modernistic nature of the domain of handicraft. Since Art- Nuoveau, the Jewelry made development, being divided into the three categories, the one in which the mass produced imitated Jewelry and commercial jewelry made of expensive materials were manufactured by nameless designers and the one in which the art-jewelry were produced to give unique domain of expression to the artists. So Art- Nuoveau Jewelry can be a starting point of the mass use of the personal garment and establishment of artistic position. We find it from the style and the material that Art- Nuoveau influenced on the modern Jewelry when we compare with Art- Nuoveau Jewelry and the modern Jewelry. It provides a basis of theoretical background about Modern- Jewelry. It expended the function of Jewelry that all materials were freely selected for the effective and creative expression by Art- Nuoveau Jewelry- artists effected by the sprit of Art- Nuoveau. It formed the basis of the modern art and in this age of that the value of all arts be evaluated according to the unique nature of artists Jewelry can to be a part of the formative art which provide to artist unlimited freedom of expression.
