교원양성기관 중등 예비교사의 인성교육 인식에 대한 질적 연구: P대학교를 중심으로

이 연구는 중등 교원양성기관에서 예비교사의 인성교육에 대한 인식과 실제를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 P대학에 재학 중인 6명의 예비교사에 대해 면담과 에세이를 통해 분석하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 예비교사가 인식하는 인성교육으로 첫째, 교직과 인성교육의 현장성 제고를 위해 예비교사의 역할이 중요하다는 점을 인식하고 있었으며 둘째, 연구 참여자들은 예비교사의 인성교육에 대해 종합적이고 지속적으로 이루어지는 것이 필요하다고 보았으며, 일부 의견으로 강제에 의한 필수 교과목 지정 보다는 인성교육 발달 단계에 따른 개인의 선택적 이수가 합리적이라는 점을 소수 의견으로 제시하고 있다. 셋째, 대학의 인성교육의 방식은 사회적 주류 공감대인 경쟁 위주체제의 단점을 보완하여 전인교육을 위한 풍토로의 이행을 요구하고 있었다. 예비교사 인성교육의 방향으로 첫째, 인성교육을 직접적으로 다루는 교과의 개설이 필요하다. 둘째, 실천적 의미에서 비교과적 성격인 학습지도, 방과 후 교실지도 등에 해당하는 교육봉사활동의 확대가 요구된다. 셋째, 교육 환경 변화에 적극적으로 대응할 수 있는 감성적인 학교 공간 변화가 필요하다. 마지막으로 인성교육 강화를 위한 시스템적 접근의 필요성을 제안하고 있다. The study looked at prospective teachers' awareness of character education at teacher training program. To this end, the results of the study analyzed through interviews with pre-teachers and essays are as follows. Character education recognized by pre-teachers, First, they recognized the importance of the role of pre-teachers to enhance the field of teaching and character education. Second, participants in the study believed that it was necessary to conduct comprehensive and continuous character education for pre-teachers, and some suggested that the selective completion of individuals according to the development stage of character education was reasonable rather than the designation of mandatory subjects by coercion. Third, the way of character education in universities was to supplement the shortcomings of the competition-oriented system, which is a social mainstream consensus, and to demand the implementation o f t he climate for universal education. The direction of pre-teachers character education is as follows. first, it is necessary to open a department that directly deals with character education. Second, in a practical sense, it is required to expand educational volunteer activities that are equivalent to extracurricular instruction and after-school classroom instruction. Third, it is necessary to change the emotional school space that can actively respond to changes in the educational environment. Finally, it proposes the need for a systematic approach to strengthening character education.
