A choledochal cyst is a relatively rare disorder, usually diagnosed in infancy or childhood, although adult presentation is increasingly recognized. In recent years, it was found that the choledochal cyst is often complicated with anomalous junction of the pancreaticobiliary duct (AJPB). The main pancreatic duct and common bile duct normally unite within the sphincter. In the anomalous situation of the common duct which is long the junction lies beyond the influence of the sphincter. A biliary carcinoma is known to be related to a choledochal cyst and, more recently, the presence of the AJPB has been shown to increase the risk of gallbladder carcinoma, even in the absence of a choledochal cyst. We experienced the above case of anomalous junction of the choledochus & pancreatic duct which was diagnosed by ERCP, abdominal CT and upper abdominal sonography.

This paper presents a technique for optimizing the baseband pulse shapes in digital 2 binary code frequency modulated signals. The acquisition performance due to frequency offsets and steady - state tracking performance in the presence of noise and signal. The effect of the nonlinearity in the loop filter is approximated using a quasilinearization approach. The overall improvement in performance of a phaselocked loop with a nonlinear filter is evaluated and compared with a conventional PLL.

최근에 대기통신을 목적으로 대기를 통과하는 빔의 전파특성에 관해, 랜덤 매질을 통해서 진행하는 빔 전파의 여러가지 기초이론을 V.I. Tatarskii와 R.H. Clarke 등이 제시하였다. 본 논문에서는 교란대기 영역에서의 물리적 특성을 수학적으로 매우 근사시킬 수 있는 이론을 제시 해석하였다. 이를 위해서 V.I. Tatarskii의 구조함수와 R.H. Clarke의 정규화 평균 intensity를 이용하였다. 대기영역의 교란이 약한 상태에서 부터 강한 상태까지의 범위에 걸쳐서, 여기서 구한 이론적 함수의 수치해석과 그 결과를 구했다. 그 결과, 빔의 파장이 증가할때 교란이 감소하였으며 정규화 평균 intensity가 증가하였다. This paper describes an analytical result on laser beam propagation properties in turbulent atmosphere. The structure function of V.I. Tatarskii and the mean intensity of R.H. Clarke, based on the parabolic approxiamtion to the wave equation, are used for deriving a resonably simple theoretical picture. The simplified equation is simulated by changing the normalized mean intensity proves to be increased according wavelengthes increase and turbulence levels decrease.

In this paper, it is concerned with channel coding for an effective digital communication. When signal data is transmitted in freespace channel through digital signal, errors can occured among the signal data by channel and these errors consist of cluster and random noise. Concatenated coding has characteristics that can detect and correct such noise. We designed and operated the R.S.encoder and convolutional encoder for concatination as an outer and an inner encoder, respectively. R.S.encoder has capability that can correct 32 bits and convolutional encoder can correct 80 bits among 320 bits. Also, 5[dB] coding gain is obtained compared with other coding.

본 논문은 SiO₂계를 이용한 테이퍼형 결합 도파로로 Mach-Zehnder 간섭계를 구성하여 광파장에 대한 의존성을 작게 하므로써 완전 광통신을 위한 광대역 광파장 분할 다중 필터를 구성할 수 있음을 보였다. 테이퍼형 도파로 해석에는 섭동궤환법을 응용하였고 광필터의 도파로는 내장형으로 SiO₂와 Corning 7059의 혼합형으로 제작하여 중심파장 1.3[㎛]에서 분파 파장간격이 5[nm]인 광필터 동작을 확인하였다. In this study, it is displayed that wide-optical wavelength division multiplexing filter for all optical communication could be realized by constituting Mach-Zehnder interforometer used tapered- coupler waveguide with SiO₂system, sucessfully. Perturbation feedback method was used for the analysis of tapered-waveguide characteristics. And the waveguide of optical filter, i.e., emgedded type using SiO₂ and Corning 7059 glass, was fabricated, and also the optical filter operation, whose wavelength spacing was 5[nm]at the center wavelength of 1.3[㎛], was confirmed.

레이져 빔을 박막 도파로에 결합시키는 방법중, 격자결합기가 프리즘결합기보다 집적광학의 평면개념에 더욱 적합하고, 영구적으로 완벽하게 광소자의 일부분이 될 수 있으므로 가장 만족스러운 결합방법이다. 본 논문에서는 격자 광결합기에 있어서, 결합 모우드 이론을 이용하여 비선형 매질로 이루어지는 격자 광결합기에 대한 결합 방정식을 유도하고 서로 다른 입사전력 레벨에 있어서 여러가지 파라메타들의 효과를 결합효율면에서 수치해석을 하였다. 결과적으로, 도파로가 비선형성을 갖는 경우에는, 입사빔의 빔폭, 입사빔의입사각, 격자 주기의 최적값은 입사전력에 의존하며, 입사전력이 증가함에 따라 결합효율은 감소함을 보였다. Of the various means for coupling a laser beam into awaveguide mode, only the grating optical coupler is compatible with the planner concept of the integrated optics, and can be permanent part of a optical device, and hance offers the most satisfactory means of coupling. From the coupled mode theory, the coupling equation for the nonlinear grating coupler is induced in this paper. By the numerical analysis, the effect of various parameters on the coupling efficiency of a nonlinear grating coupler at different incident power levels is studies. As the result, the beam width of incident beam, incident angle of beam and optinum value of grating period are dependent incident power. It is reported that, in the presence of nonlinearities in the waveguide, the coupling efficiency decreases with increasing incident power.
