유통시장 개방이 단계적으로 실현되면서 다양한 형태의 신종 유통 기관들이 등장하고 새로운 유통기법의 도입이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 유통 산업내의 이러한 움직임들의 밑바닥에 흐르는 공통점은 무엇일까? 필자는 1980년대에 미국이나 일본의 소매업계에 나타났던 주요 변화들의 추이에 비추어, 이러한 변화들을 유통산업이 하이테크-하이터치 결합형의 유통기관을 중심으로 재편되어 가는 증거로 본다.

확증적 요인분석을 통한 개념의 다측면구조분석의 문제점

이 연구는 모델의 실증적 동일성(equivalence) 또는 사용되는 검정의 검정력상의 부정확성 때문에, 共分散構造分析(covariance structure analysis)를 이용한 確證的 要因分析(confirmatory factor analysis)를 통한 이론적 개념의 실증적 구조분석이 현실적으로 적용하기 어려움을 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 증명하고 있다. 모델의 동질성을 입증하기 위해 Rindskopf와 Rose(1988)가 제시한 多側面槪念의 구조에 대한 기본모델들을 사용하였으며, 類似度檢定(likelihood ratio test)의 검정력의 근사가능성을 널리 쓰이고 있는 Satorra와 Saris(1985)의 근사법을 중심으로 검토하였다. 이론적 개념 구조의 모델절정과정에서 고려되어야 할 요인들을, 공분산구조분석에 있어서 이론적 개념과 측정사이의 상응관계(correspondence)가 결정되는 과정을 중심으로 파악하여 제시하였다.

Metachronous Triple Genitourinary Tumors in a Single Patient Treated by Partial Nephrectomy, Retropubic Radical Prostatectomy, and Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor

A 75-year-old man was referred to our department for an incidentally detected right renal mass which was later treated by partial nephrectomy. Seven years later, a serum PSA level of 5.87ng/ml was detected and a digital rectal examination revealed a tiny, palpable nodule in the left lobe of prostate. The results of the prostate biopsy revealed prostate adenocarcinoma with a Gleason score of 7 (3+4) in 5 of 12 cores. Retropubic radical prostatectomy was carried out. In follow-up imaging studies, positron emission tomography-computed tomography revealed a 1.3-cm papillary tumor located in the bladder and he underwent transurethral resection. To the best of our knowledge, this the first report of metachronous, triple primary, genitourinary malignant tumors in Korea.

Robot-assisted radical cystectomy: Where we are in 2023

Open radical cystectomy (ORC) is associated with high rates of perioperative morbidity and mortality, owing to its extensive surgical nature and the high frequency of multiple co-morbidities among patients. As an alternative, robot-assisted radical cystectomy (RARC) has been increasingly adopted worldwide, being a reliable treatment option that utilizes minimally invasive surgery. Seventeen years have passed since the advent of the RARC, and comprehensive long-term follow-up data are now becoming available. The present review focuses on the current knowledge of RARC in 2023, and analyzes various aspects, including oncological outcomes, peri/post-operative complications, post-operative quality of life (QoL) change, and cost-effectiveness. Oncologically, RARC showed comparable oncological outcomes to ORC. With regard to complications, RARC was associated with lower estimated blood loss, lower intraoperative transfusion rates, shorter length of stay, lower risk of Clavien–Dindo grade III–V complications, and lower 90-day rehospitalization rates than ORC. In particular, RARC with intracorporeal urinary diversion (ICUD) performed by high-volume centers significantly reduced the risk of post-operative major complications. In terms of post-operative QoL, RARC with extracorporeal urinary diversion (ECUD) showed comparable results to ORC, while RARC with ICUD was superior in some respects. As the RARC implementation rate increases and the learning curve is overcome, more prospective studies and randomized controlled trials with large-scale patients are expected to be conducted in the future. Accordingly, sub-group analysis in various groups such as ECUD, ICUD, continent and non-continent urinary diversion, etc. is considered to be possible.

소매점포 혼잡도의 기대 불일치가 쇼핑 행동에 미치는 영향 : 점포방문 경험의 조절효과

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of retail crowding on shopping behavior and to identify the boundary conditions to moderate the relationship between retail crowding and shopping behavior such as duration time and re-visit intention. The extant researches of retail crowding classified the retail crowding into the spatial crowding and the human crowding and showed different results depending on the dimension of crowding. Especially, in case of human crowding unlike spatial crowding, mixed results were found. In this study, two factors are considered to explain the mixed results of human crowding. First, the crowding degree is actual crowding in comparison to the expected crowding level rather than the actual perceived crowding level. The relationships between the expectation dis-confirmation of crowding and shopping behaviors were moderated by the store experience. In order to analyse the research model, data were collected from consumers who have experience using distribution facilities such as super discount marts, department stores, outlets, and traditional markets, and 205 of the collected questionnaires were used for analysis. Hypothesis testing was carried out by hierarchical regression analysis. The results showed that the effect of expectation dis-confirmation of crowding was different depending on the type of shopping behavior. Specifically, the expectation dis-confirmation of crowding significantly has a negative effect on the intention to revisit, and this influence has a significant interaction effect that decreases as the experience of the store increases. On the other hand, the expectation dis-confirmation of crowding did not show significant impact on the duration time, and there was no interaction effect of store experience in the relationship between them. Finally, based on the results of this study, implications and future research directions are presented. 본 연구는 소매점포의 혼잡도가 쇼핑 행동에 미치는 영향을 분석함과 동시에 이들 간의 관계를 조절하는 경계조건을 규명하였다. 기존 혼잡도에 관한 연구는 혼잡도를 공간적 혼잡도와 인적 혼잡도로 구분하여 접근하였으며, 혼잡도의 내용적 차원에 따라 다른 결과를 보여주었다. 특히 공간적 혼잡도와 달리 인적 혼잡도의 경우 쇼핑 감정 및 쇼핑 행동에 미치는 영향력이 혼재된 결과가 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이 같은 인적 혼잡도의 혼재된 결과를 설명하기 위하여 두 가지를 고려하였다. 첫 번째는 혼잡도를 실제 지각된 혼잡도가 아닌 점포 방문 전에 예상되었던 혼잡도와 비교하여 실제 혼잡도가 어떠하였는지를 나타내는 기대 불일치 혼잡도 개념으로 접근하였으며, 기대 불일치 혼잡도가 쇼핑 행동에 미치는 영향이 점포 경험과 같은 경계조건에[ 따라 효과가 달라질 것이라는 조절효과를 실증하였다. 연구모형을 검증하기 위하여 대형마트, 백화점, 아울렛, 전통시장과 같은 유통시설을 이용한 경험이 있는 소비자들을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며, 수집된 설문지 중에서 205부가 분석에 사용되었다. 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 가설검증을 실시하였으며, 분석결과 쇼핑 행동의 유형에 따라 혼잡도의 기대 불일치가 미치는 영향을 다르게 나타났다. 구체적으로 혼잡도의 기대 불일치는 재방문 의도에 부정적인 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 영향력은 점포 경험이 많을수록 감소하는 유의한 상호작용효과가 발생하였다. 반면에 혼잡의 기대 불일치는 체류 시간에는 유의한 영향력이 나타나지 않았으며, 이들 간의 관계에서 점포 경험의 조절효과 또한 존재하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구를 통해 도출된 결과에 기초하여 시사점과 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.

박길룡의 주가(住家) 계획에서 온돌의 역할에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to analyze the arrangement of rooms in Park Gil-ryong’s housing plans to understand the influence of ondolon his design. Architect Park published diverse housing plans in Korean newspapers and magazines. Out of them, this study attempts toselect the urban housing for the middle class as an object of analysis, and clarify the mutual relationship between the ondol and their roomarrangement. This study is significant because it gives a precious opportunity to understand Park’s ideas on housing improvement in the1930s, and how his ideas affected other architects. 연구는 박길룡이 남긴 주거계획안들 가운데 주로 평면에 초점을 맞추고, 거기서 등장하는 실배치를 집중적으로 분석하고자 한다. 박길룡은 당시 발행된 여러 신문과 잡지들에 자신의 주거계획안을 발표한 바 있다. 그들 가운데 규모가 큰 일부 상류 저택을 제외하고, 주로 도시 중류주택을 중심으로 그의 계획안들을 연구대상으로 삼았다.  이들 도면들을 중심으로 온돌과 평면계획 사이의 상관관계를 규명하고, 또한 박길룡의 생각이 동시대 다른 건축가들에 어떤 영향을 미쳤는지를 밝히고자 한다.
