Effect of aging condition on the microstructure and hardness properties of Al-3Li, Al-3Li-2Cu, Al-3Li-2Cu-0.3Zr have been studied. The alloy ribbons have been prepared by means of Single Roll Melt Spinning by rapid solidification technique. In rapidly solidified Al-3Li-2Cu, Al-3Li-2Cu-0.3Zr alloy ribbons show the icosahedral intermetallic compound of five-fold symmetry which is placed in cell-bound-ary and matrix. In the matrix precipitated fine δ'(Al₃Li) phase. Heat-treated at 250℃ 1hr. In this condition, δ'(Al₃Li) phase started decompose. The icosahedral intermetallic compound has been grown. When heat-treated at 300℃ 1 hr, the δ' phase has been decomposed all. In the matrix, icosahedral intermetallic compound has been grown greatly. The micro-hardness has been obtained more high Al-Li-Cu-(Zr) alloy than Al-Li alloy. Strength-hardended phenomena showed to solution hardning by the addition of Cu. When the heat-treated at 250℃ 1 hr, in the alloy of Zr addition, delayed decomposed δ' phase. In the case, micro-hardness gradually decreased. When the heat-treatment have done at 300℃ 1 hr, the micro-hardness has been decreased because δ' phase decomposed all.
軟鋼 Lining用 Stainless 綱熔接捧 選擇에 關한 硏究

Three kinds of austenitic stainless electrode(JIS. D 308, D 310, D 316) were chosen for mild steel lining welding to find out the weldability. Hardness and Cracking tests were carried out with the weld zone and also a study was made for the Schaeffler diagram to interpret the welded structure, From the experimental work the following results were obtained. 1. D 310 electrode which is high in Cr and Ni equivalent has given the most profitable results in weldability. 2. D 308, and D 316 electrode can be adaptable for the mild steel lining welding provided that penetration is not large. 3. D 308 electrode, in which the ratio of Cr and Ni contents is more than 1.9, showed better ductility when annealed after welding.

Four kinds of electrodes were chosen high tensile steel welding to find out the weldability. From the experimental work the following results were obtained. 1. LC-300 electrode(Low hydrogen type) gave the most profitable results in weldability. 2. D-316 electrode(austenitic stainless electrode) resulted in superior tensile strength but inferior ductility. 3. D0310 electrode(austenitic stainless electrode), in which the ratio of Cr and Ni Contents was higher should better ductility.
0.7% 炭素銅 纖維의 燒鈍溫度 (Annealing tempera ture)에 따른 組織變化 및 機械的特質에 對하여

Steel fiber containing 0.7% carbon, which is applicable to composite material, was annealed at various temperatures and the mechanical properties of the annealed fiber was evaluated, together with the changes of microstructure. This is to find out the change of properties of the steel fiber whin it is heated by molten base metal of composite material. The findings from the experimental work are summerized as follows. 1) Fiber structure formed by drawing was disappeared gradually via recrystallization texture by increasing annealing temperature. 2) No structure changes were visible under the annealing temperature of 300℃ and the changes of mechanical properties were not noticeable. 3) Remarkable stress relieving, recovery and recrystallization zone were visible, through both of microstructure and mechanical testing, depending on the annealing temperature. 4) The fracture of the specimen showed complete ductile fracture with the elevated annealing temperature.
