        The human resources of the enterprise consist of all individuals engaged in any of the organizations activities, regardless of level. Since people are necessary ingredient in any organiation, the attitudes and aspects of thier labour living have an importance and effect on any organizations both materially and morally. And the nature of the human resources is diverse and extensive, so that it is complicated under the influence of the changes of social phenomenon. Therefore we find the problems arise in any organization are the moral of employees, the increasing of labour efficiency, the growth of enterprise, and the promotion of employee's benifits. We must have a correct understanding about the complicated problems which are based on the human relations in connection with the rights and duties of mutual humanity and their favours. In modern society, it is an inevitable task for all managers in any organization to maintain the stability of the relationship between employees and employers. As the modern personnel and labour management is synthetically and rationally performed in any organization, the up-girnt employee-employer relations ahould be established as its preliminary step coming into being in just business administration. In organizations with the primary objective of the production of useful goods and services at a profit, the stability and command of manpower are the fundamental conditions. The development of capitalism have to devise the stabilization measures of the relations between employees and employers to maintain manpower has expedited consciouslly the progress of labour's growth, that is, the both parties of labour-capital have to deal with the problesm from a point of view of managing systematically the relations between labour and capital toward long-term cooperative relations. In this regards the manpower on the reasonable management order and/or systematic production process is based on seeking effetive benifits in the organization's activities. The traditional personal and labour management has only two sides of labourer and/or labour union control by a manager's one-sided policy. But labour relations management makes the systematic control of labourer and/or labour union an lbjective of its study, and heads for the joint responsibilities in unanimous co-operations for common benefits between employees and employers. The stability of relations between employees and employers is based on the asumption that they have to recognize the relations of the mutual rights and duties, that is labourer and/or labour union recognize the employers' right-to-manage and employers and/or manager recognize the employees' right-to-work-right to organize, right to collective bargain and right to strike. On the other hand, when we look into the 「system of manpower in a business organization, we can find various relationships」are formed such as the relationship between "job and individual" called the technical relationship, and the relationship of "individual-to-individual" and "organization-to-individual group" called the social relationship. In modern management of the human resources by and within the enterprise, the social relationship is more important than the technical relationship. In general, the labour relation and/or labour relations management is the important subject matters in the personnel and labour management today. The object of this study is the nature of personnel and labour management, the process of its development, and the direction of labour relations management in the future. According to the latest report of ILO, the labour-relations management is indicated to be changing with the relations of mutual co-operation as a world tendency. Thus, employees and employers relations are developed to the productive system of labour-capital co-operation as a relatins of co-existance and coprosperity. And an enterprise should be the labourer's fruitful and cheerful place while his working hard by himself. In consequence, modern personnel and labour management has to develop toward the productive labour-capital relations for the social atability and welfare promotion through the employee's participation in management activities.

        급성기 중증 뇌졸중 환자의 치료 의사결정

        This article discusses the case of an elderly patient with a severe stroke for whom hemicraniectomy was proposed to lower intracranial pressure. Although patients in this situation can increase their chances of survival with hemicraniectomy, expected quality of life following the procedure remains uncertain. This case is analyzed using the four topics chart, which consists of medical indication, patient preference, quality of life, and contextual features. In relation to contextual features, the conflict of interest experienced by the family as caregivers and the influence of the Life-Sustaining Treatment Decision-making Act are discussed. It is argued that in order to make medical decisions that are in the patient’s best interest, shared decision-making between physicians and family members should be based on information obtained through the four topics chart. 고령의 중증 뇌졸중 환자에서 뇌압을 낮추기 위해 반두개졀개술이 제안된 환자의 사례를 의학적 적 응증, 환자의 선호, 삶의 질, 맥락적 특성으로 구성된 4분면 접근법(the four topics chart)를 활용하여 분석하였다. 환자는 급성의 위중한 상황으로 반두개절제술로 생존 가능성을 높일 수는 있으나 위급한 상황을 넘겨 안정적이 되었을 때 일상생활의 전부, 혹은 상당 부분을 타인에게 의존해야 하며, 인지저 하가 예상된다. 환자의 삶의 질이 매우 낮을 것으로 예상되는 상황에서 가족과 의사는 의사결정능력이 없는 환자를 대신하여 의학적 근거, 예상되는 삶의 질, 환자라면 선택하였을 법한 환자에게 최선의 이 익이 되는 결정을 내려야 한다. 또한 맥락적 특성을 고려해야 하는데, 여기에서는 가족이 겪는 이해상 충에 대한 인지, 제도의 측면에서 연명의료결정법의 영향에 대해 논하였다. 의사와 가족은 함께하는 의 사결정(shared decision-making)을 통해 4분면 접근법의 분석 내용을 논의하고 환자의 최선의 이익 에 부합하는 선택을 할 수 있을 것이다.

        옥외 예술장식품 설치공간의 실태에 관한 연구-서울시 건축물 부설 예술장식품 심의대장을 중심으로-

        It is clear that so called 1% law " in Korea has been established to enhance the quality of urban environment. However, after more than 10 years of its enforcement, environmental sculptures installed in accordance with the "1% law" are even being called as "sculptural pollution". This research was a part of a study on the environmental sculptures for the enhancement of the quality of urban environment. The purpose of this study was to investigate problems inherent in the outdoor space as places of environmental sculptures installed in accordance with "1% law". The following facts were found from the analysis of the relationship between 223 environmental sculptures and their surrounding environment from the viewpoint of spatial organization through field surveys. 1. 88.3% out of 223 environmental sculptures were located on ' 'public space' on study sites 2. 69.1% were placed on 'green' 3. 80.7% of 'green' were either 'point' types or 'line' types 4. 85.2% were under 5m in the longest dimension. The implication of this study is that "1% law" in Korea has been applied to only buildings in private sector where most outdoor space area in unadequate physical and spatial conditions to install diverse forms of environmental sculptures. Further studies must be carried out to install environmental sculptures in public open pace as an alternative by amending "1% law".

        New Solid-phase Crystallization of Amorphous Silicon by Selective Area Heating

        A new crystallization method for amorphous silicon, called selective area heating (SAH), was proposed. The purpose of SAH is to improve the reliability of amorphous silicon films with extremely low thermal budgets to the glass substrate. The crystallization time shortened from that of the conventional solid-phase crystallization method. An isolated thin heater for SAH was fabricated on a quartz substrate with a Pt layer. To investigate the crystalline properties, Raman scattering spectra were used. The crystalline transverse optic phonon peak was at about 519㎝⁻¹, which shows that the films were crystallized. The effect of the crystallization time on the varying thickness of the SiO₂ films was investigated. The crystallization area in the 400nm-thick SiO₂ film was larger than those of the SiO₂ films with other thicknesses after SAH at 16 W for 2 min. The results show that a SiO₂ capping layer acts as storage layer for thermal energy. SAH is thus suggested as a new crystallization method for large-area electronic device applications.

        파리 서울공원 설계

        In June, the City of Seoul held a design competition for $\ulcorner$Seoul Park$\lrcorner$in Paris to promote friendly relations with its sister city. The purpose of this paper is to articulate the design concept of a scheme submitted by the author. The author interpreted the object of this design competition as follows: if we regards a park not as one of urban planning facilities but as a space for expressing a culture, $\ulcorner$Seoul Park$\lrcorner$in Paris is a space expressing Korean culture, or a culture of the City of Seoul in Paris, France. Three points were emphasized in this scheme: 1. Physical and non-physical aspects of Korean culture, or a culture of the City of Seoul were expressed separately. In physical part, a traditional Korean garden was reappeared to express its authenticity compared to its counterpart, French classical garden - its formal and grand style. In nonphysical part, Seoul's features and its citizen's facial expression were engraved on 'free standing walls' named 'Seoul Expression'. In addition, Korean traditional and modern performing arts will be performed in a square named as 'Seoul madang' surrounded by the free standing walls. 2. A space clearly divided by the fence was necessary to distinguish a traditional Korean garden from the place which looks like an amusement park. Traditional wall, mounding and pine tree groves were included. 3. Bamboo grove with the way taking a walk was introduced. The author expected that Parisian feels oriental mystery, the sound of wind, and the time lag of past and present in this sounding bamboo grove.
