        Measuring defects on the inside and on the surface of a steel structure are very important technology in order to predict the life span of the structure. In particular, a place with a high probability that it may contain defects are a welded part and it is very important to check defects in the part. absence/presence of non-uniform substances, its shpae , and the location. Many non-destructive tests can be applied, but the ultrasonic flow detection test is widely used with some advantages. However, The ultrasonic flow detection test cannot be appplied when there is a problem by a contact medium between PZT and a specimen, in case of a small and complicated shape or a moving object or when the specimen is hot. In this study, to solve the problems of the contact ultrasonic flow detection test, the non-contact ultrasonic flow detection test for sending/receiving ultrasonic waves using lasers was described. I intended to develop a non-destructive detection system applying the laser application ultrasonic test to a steel sutrcutre by detecting the defects inside of and on the surface of the specimen.

        The ultra-precision products which recently experienced high in demands had included the large areas of most updated technologies, for example, the semiconductor, the computer, the aerospace, the media information, the precision machining. For early 21st century, it was expected that the ultra-precision technologies would be distributed more throughout the market and required securing more nation-wise advancements. Furthermore, there seemed to be increasing in demand of the single crystal diamond tool which was capable of the ultra-precision machining for parts requiring a high degree of complicated details which were more than just simple wrapping and policing. Moreover, the highest degree of precision is currently at 50 ㎚ for some precision parts but not in all. The machining system and technology should be at very high performed level in order to accomplish this degree of the ultra-precision.

        WDM-PON(Wavelength Division Multiplexer) was known as solution of ultimate FTTH(Fiber-To-The-Home) in big city and internet network. Optical module part among whole system is the most difficult technologically, it is getting into bottle-neck of development. Quality, all prices are many up to now assignments to be satisfied, it can be said that is early phase. In this treatise I wish to develop WDM-PON Bi-Di Ferrule polishing machine and a polishing technology that use ferule polishing horn in Bi-Di that is an existing technology.

        적외선 차단 필터를 제거한 더미 카메라를 이용한 카메라와 라이다 외부 보정 방법 평가

        In this paper, we present the evaluation results of the extrinsic calibration of a camera and LiDAR using a dummy camera without an IR-cut filter. In general, an IR-cut filter is included in a camera to remove the effect of the IR band. If the IR-cut filter is removed from the camera, the true locus of LiDAR could be observed on the image. We evaluated two algorithms that are widely used for the extrinsic calibration of a camera and LiDAR by using the true locus of LiDAR on the dummy camera. After the extrinsic calibration between the camera and LiDAR, we projected the LiDAR data onto the dummy camera using the pose between two cameras. Finally, we evaluated the results of the extrinsic calibration by comparing the projected locus with the true locus. The existing algorithms evaluate the calibration results only by checking the residuals of the used constraints or by simply checking the consistency at the depth discontinuities. In this paper, we present the precise evaluation results obtained using the true locus of the LiDAR.

      • The study on the characterization of reaction over additive ZSM-5 on USY-zeolite catalyst.

        과거의 촉매공정은 반응원료, 촉매형태, 또는 공정상의 운전조건들에 의해 결정 되었으나 현재는 촉 매상의 화학적 조성에 크게 좌우되고 있는 실정이다. 특히 FCC 공정에 이용되고 있는 ZSM-5촉매는 가솔린의 옥탄가를 높이고 가스 생성물 생산에 용이하여 국내 정유사에서 첨가제로 널리 사용하고 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 ZSM-5 촉매에 대한 기본적인 물성을 알아보고 반응원료 및 반응온도, 첨가되는 촉매량의 변화에 따른 반응실험의 결과를 통해 실제적으로 적합한 공정변수를 알아보고자 하였다. 촉매의 기본적인 물성은 BET, XRD등을 통해 이루어 졌으며, 반응실험은 USY-zeolite를 기조로 5~15wt% ZSM-5촉매를 첨가한 복합촉매를 이용하여 반응원료를 n-octane, 1-hexene, benzene등으로 변화시켜 수행하였다. 반응온도는 320℃~450℃ 까지를 변수로 W/F=0.5, 반 응압력은 15atm으로 고정하였으며 공급되는 원료의 온도를 변화시켜 실험하였다. 분석은 G.C F.I.D PONA capillary를 이용하였고 외부 표준 물질법(external method)으로 결과치를 보정하였다. 그 결과 각각의 조건에 따라 서로 상이한 생성물의 분포가 보임을 알 수 있었으며, 이에 따라 선택적인 생성물의 생산이 가능할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

      • 동기식 디지털 계층용 LOS 마이크로웨이브 전송 시스템을 위한 적응 등화기의VLSI설계

        본 논문에서는 동기식 디지털 계층(Synchronous Digital Hierarchy: SDH)용 LOS (line-of-sight) 마이크로웨이브전송 시스템을 위한 적응 등화기를 설계하고 이를 VLSI로 구현한다. 칩 구현을 고려할 때 transpose 형태의 선형transversal 등화기가 본 시스템에 적합하였으며, LMS 방식과 Zero-forcing 방식을 선택적으로 사용하여 tap 계수를 적응시키도록 하였다. 시스템 outage 상태로부터 회복시에 필요한 블라인드 적응을 위해 BER을 모니터하는 회로를 추가하였으며 간단한 자동 복귀 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 설계된 적응 등화기 칩은 0.8 마이크론 VTI 라이브러리와 COMPASS tool을 이용하여 구현되었으며, 이 칩의 게이트 수는 약 58000, 면적은 8.8 x 9.0 ㎟, 동작 주파수는 27 MHz.이다. 제작된칩은 실제 보드상에서 실험을 통하여 그 성능이 검증되었다.

      • 구조물의 비접촉 비파괴 검사를 위한 레이저 초음파법 적용

        The defects evaluation of the interior and the surface would be considered as vital characteristics in predicting the total life span of the steel structure. More importantly, the understandings in the interior composite of welding zone and the notifications in the presence, the formation, and the positioning of the non-metallic inclusion are necessary as well, since there were signs of relatively high defect frequency presented in the welding zone. The ultrasonic testing is a highly recommended technique chosen from among other techniques because of variety of advantages in conducting the non-destructive testing for the welding zone. However, the ultrasonic testing had technical disadvantages referred as followings; the problems due to the couplant between the PZT and the specimen, the formations that were miniature and complex, the moving subject, and the high temperature surrounding the specimen. This research was conducted to resolve the technical disadvantages of the contact ultrasonic testing by studying the non-contact ultrasonic testing where the ultrasonic waves were transferred by the laser, and revealing the specimen defects at its interior part and its surface part. The ultimate goal of this research was to develop a non-destructive evaluation applying the laser manipulated ultrasonic method for the steel structure

      • 용접결함의 형상인식을 위한 분류기 알고리즘의 성능 비교

        In this study, we compared backpropagation network(BPNN) with probabilistic neural network(PNN) as the classification algorithm of welding flaws. For this purpose variables are appied the same to two algorithm. Here, feature variable is composed of time signal itself and frequency signal itself. Those are ultrasonic signals reflected on welding flaws. Through this process, we comfirmed advantages/disadvantages of two algorithms, identified application methods of two algorithms to classification methods of welding flaws. These advantages/disadvantages and application methods are based on theoretical backgrounds.
