예수 그리스도의 세례 이후부터 세례예식은 새 기독교인의 입문 예식으로 거행되어 왔다. 따라서 많은 초대교회의 교부들과 지도자들은 세례예식이 무엇을 의미하는 지 가르치려고 했으며, 이러한 가르침은 여러 문헌을 통해 지금까지 전해지고 있다. 4세기경에 이르러 밀라노의 주교 암브로시우스, 몹스에스티아의 감독 테오도르, 콘스탄티노플의 주교 존 크리소스톰, 그리고 예루살렘의 감독 씨릴리우스 같은 기독교 지도자들은 그들의 해석적 도구들을 사용해서 기독교 성례전에 대한 의미를 좀 더 길게 설명하는 설교들을 작성하고 실제 세례예식 때 사용하였다. 이 설교문들은 세례예식 전 설교문과 세례 예식 후 설교문으로 나뉘는데, 세례 예식 후 설교문을 기독교 역사 속에서 흔히 성례 신비설교(Mystagogy)라고 불렸다. 이 논문에서는 위에서 언급했던 4세기경의 성례 신비설교 중에 두 전통을 대표하는 두 명의 학자들의 설교를 다루려고 한다. 서방전통의 밀라노의 암브로시우스, 동방전통의 몹수에스티아의 테오도르의 설교들 속에서 성례전이 어떻게 거행되어왔는지, 그들이 세례예식을 어떻게 이해했는지, 그들이 설명한 성례전 속에서 일어나는 신비들이 무엇이었는지, 그리고 그 이해를 위한 방법론들은 무엇이었는지를 고찰하고 비교하면서 크게 동방 전통과 서방 전통의 성례전 신학에 대한 이해를 분석하고, 이 초대교회의 성례전에 대한 교육을 현대적으로 어떻게 수용할 것인가에 대해 논했다. Since the end fo the first century, the baptismal rite has been regarded as one of the most important rituals in Christianity. Therefore, many theologians and Christian leaders have tried to teach what the baptism is, remaining their written suggestions or possible interpretations about Christian baptism. In the fourth century, Christian scholars such as Ambrose of Milan, Theodore of Mopsuestia, John Chrysostom, and Cyril of Jerusalem began to write and preach longer instructions about the baptism and Eucharist, using their own theological methods. This instructions were divided into two parts: pre-baptismal catechesis and post-baptismal catechesis. Usually, the post-baptismal catechesis is known as "mystagogy" or "mystagogical catechesis." In this research, I specifically deal with the two mystagogies delivered by Ambrose of Milan from Western tradition as well as Theodore of Mopsuestia from Eastern tradition in the fourth century, answering followed issues: how each rites were performed; how they understood the Sacraments; how they explan the mystery of the Sacraments; what methodologies they used to explain the Sacraments. Answering these issues regarding mystagogies, I compared the differences of Sacramental theologies between Western tradition and Eastern tradition. In addition, I suggested some issues to develop these crucial education about the Sacraments in the context of contemporary Korean Christian church.

Dynamic behavior of a droplet on a moving wall

A two-dimensional immiscible droplet deformation phenomenon on a moving channel bottom wall is simulated using the latticeBoltzmann method. We considered the effect of the initial static contact angle, the capillary number, and the size of the droplet on thedynamic behavior of the moving droplet. When the initial static contact angle is less than 90°, the moving droplet is deformed andstretched, resulting in increasing width and decreasing height of the droplet. This is due to the hydrophilic (wetting) characteristic of thechannel's bottom wall. However, when the initial static contact angle is larger than 90°, the deformed and stretched droplet on the movingchannel bottom wall is broken up, and is then pinched off or detached from the moving channel bottom wall, depending on the initialstatic contact angle and capillary number. This is due to the hydrophobic (non-wetting) characteristic of the wall.

This study was performed to investigate the trend of consumer prices of commercial foods for 3 years at some retail stores in Yosu area. The prices of most foodstuffs have been increased every year except some vegetables, fishes, shellfishes, and dried fishes. The price increment in this year was greater than 96 and 97 year. As a result of comparative prices at 3 retail stores in Yosu area, meats and vegetables in agricultural cooperative, seasonings in C-marts and fruits in S department stores were cheaper than other item in counterparts. Consumer price index of foodstuffs was estimated to be 103.9 in 1996, 107.9 in 1997 and 116.7 in 1998 in Korea. Therefore, housekeepers must thrift to reduce living expenditure to overcome IMF peridos.
Some Properties of Protease Extracted from the Hepatopancreas of Crayfish, Procambarus Clarkii
