Purpose : The purpose of this study is to test the effect of the web-based alcohol preventive education for elementary school students. And this study will contribute to indicate the model of alcohol preventive education for students spreading all over the family and the community. Methods : This study was performed on the 1 public and 1 private elementary school students who are the six grade in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The number of experimental group was 117 and control group's number was 131, totaled 248. Data were collected from June 13 to July 16, 2005, totaled 5weeks. The pre- and the post-test for web-based alcohol preventive education were tested about knowledge and attitude toward drinking by questionnaire. The data analysis was done using SPSS/Win 12.0 program. Results:The results of this study are as follows; 1. Compared with control group, experimental group which was educated the web-based alcohol preventive program for elementary school students was improved with significant difference in the knowledge toward drinking. 2. Compared with control group, also the experimental group was improved with significant difference in attitude toward drinking after the education. 3. In control group, female students' knowledge of drinking was more increased than male students. And the group which didn't meet with drinking was more increased than the group which experienced drinking. Conclusions : The web-based alcohol preventive education is worth as a intervention to get positive influence for the health education. Especially in female students who didn't meet with drinking, early education for alcohol prevention is very important. Therefore it will be helpful that cooperate with district office of education, health center, elementary school and university within the community for becoming established the controlled drinking pattern.
3차 진료기관 의료소비자의 자기공명영상(MRI)에 관한 인식 및 지식수준

This study was conducted to measure the level of perception and knowledge of medical consumers on MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and to identify some variables which influenced them. A questionnaire survey was conducted on the medical consumers of a tertiary hospital in Seoul, who had their MRI photographs taken from April 1 to April. 15, 2005. A total of 166 data were collected and analyzed with SPSS WIN 12.0. 1. The average age of medical consumers was 53.43 and men took up 84.3% of them. Their average monthly income was 2,450,000 won, and the average frequency of their MRI experience was 1.85. 2. The average score of their perception level and edu-cation needs were 3.39 and 3.91 out of 5 points respectively. And the average score of their knowledge level was 9.63 out of 31 points. 3. 10.3% of perception level and 13.8% of knowledge level could be explained by the frequency of their MRI experience. These results reflect the level of perception and knowledge of middle-aged men who belong to the socioeconomically middle class. The level of perception and knowledge on MRI is deeply influenced by the frequency of MRI experience. Therefore we need strategies to develop educational service programs which will help medical consumers to increase their level of perception and knowledge on MRI before they have their MRI pictures taken. It is desirable that those programs will be specifically developed by educational background and monthly income of medical consumers.
연속가교를 통한 피부 진피세포 담지 콜라겐 겔의 강도 제어

본 연구에서는 생체재료인 콜라겐과 합성 단량체인 아크릴아마이드를 연속가교 하여, 하이드로젤 기반의 콜라겐 겔을 제조하였다. 아크릴아마이드의 함량 및 가교 정도에 따라, 1.5 kPa에서 3.0 kPa까지 다양한 강도(E)를 갖는 콜라겐 겔을 제조할 수 있었다. 또한, 콜라겐 겔에 다공성 기공을 도입하고 진피세포를 내부에 담지하여, 겔 강도에 따른 세포 성장 및 거동을 확인하였다. 상대적으로 강도가 높은 겔에서 세포의 성장은 느렸지만 GAG 합성 및 분비는 활성화되는 것을 확인하였다. 콜라겐 겔의 기계적 물성에 따라 세포의 성장 및 활성이 영향을 받는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 이는 향후 인공피부 제조 및 응용, 나아가 다양한 조직공학 분야의 기반 기술로 활용 가능하리라 기대된다. In this study, sequential cross-linked collagen gels were successfully prepared with collagen, which is biomaterial, and acrylamide (AAm), which is a synthetic monomer. The elastic moduli (E) of cross-linked collagen gels were increased from 1.5 to 3.0 kPa by varying of AAm concentrations. In addition, human dermal fibroblasts were encapsulated into the porous pores introduced into the gels, and cell growth and behavior were investigated. Increasing E of the gels led to decreases in cell growth rate, while the cellular glycosaminoglycan (GAG) production level was elevated. Overall, the growth and cellular activity of skin cells were influenced by the extracellular matrix properties of the collagen gels. In conclusion, these results will be highly useful for designing reconstructive skins and various tissue engineering researches.
