        In this paper, we proposed flash memory design method for image and voice recoder based on the standard imageㆍvoice cosec algorithm.For implementation of this method we designed imageㆍvoice browser which is application system of flash memory and card using GDS30C6001 USB controller.To process image and voice data we designed root directory of image and voice files repectively.To extend application of image and voice data we added various information to the system.

      • 신경망을 이용한 지문영상의 전처리 기술

        This paper treats the Self-Organizing Network algorithm for the edge enhancement of fingerprint image. To represent quantitatively changes in status value on the neuron-unit images, it defines the contrast link of the first and second orders through 3×3 window and 5×5 window. In neural network algorithm, the neuron as the subject of treatment undergoes update processes, and edge enhancement is achieved in the end. This algorithm is characteristic that the most conspicuous part of edge in the state of initial neurons is regarded as the first neuron of the reconstruction processes and undergoes update processes and that the processing moves and occurs in the neighborhood neuron. By this way, the effects of enhancement are gained even in the obscure edge. In addition, this way leads to the most effective location for image analysis through the inhibitory status of neuron and stimulates the update processes of neuron.

      • 自己相關函數를 利用한 畵質 測定에 關한 硏究

        In this paper, we aims to extract the relationship between the directional charateristics and quanlity for fingerprint image. In order to do it, we trasformed the original images into directional images and set up the subimage size of 16,32,64 and directions of 1,2,3,4. Then we extracted the accunulated directional value as a measurement of quality for the type of whorl,loop,and arch fingerprint images. By using the clustering algorithm,we performed the process of analysis of the result Finally,we could extract the optimal subimage size and directional characteristics for fingerprint image.

        적응적 영상개선을 위한 지문영상의 방향성 특성과 화질의 관계 분석

        본 논문은 적응적 영상개선을 위한 전 단계로 자기상관함수를 이용한 지문 영상의 방향성 특성과 화질의 관계 분석에 관한것이다. 이를 위해서 원 영상을 방향 영상으로 변환한 실험영상을 대상으로 부 영역의 크기를 16, 32, 64, 방향성을 1, 2, 3, 4로 설정하고 화질의 척도인 방향성 누적값을 산출하였다. 또한 지문영상에 대한 화질 특성을 추출하고 최적의 부 영역과 방향성 관계를 정량적인 실험 자료로 제시하기위해 군집환 알고리즘을 이용한 분석 과정을 수행하였다. This paper aims to examine the relationship between the directional characteristics and the quality for fingerprint image as preprocessing stage for adative image enchancement. In order to do that, we transformed the original images into directional images and set up the subimage size of 16, 32, 64 and the direction of 1, 2, 3, 4. Then we extracted the accumulated directional value as the measurement of quality for fingerprint images. By using the clustering algirthm, we performed an analytic experiemnt with the result. Finally, we could extract the optimal subimage size and directional characteristics of fingerprint image.

        영상이해를 위한 지식유출에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 영상 이해를 위한 지식 베이스 시스템에 있어서 핵심적 기능을 수행하게 되는 저급 지식원과 중급 지식원의 추출에 관한 것으로 화소 영역에 적용되는 저급 처리 과정으로 영역 분할 처리과정, 방향 영상 변환과정, 형태 정보 추출 과정, 영역 특징량 추출과정으로 구성되며 중급 처리 과정으로 특징 베이스 분류, 기하학적 토큰 관계성, 인지적 조직과 집단화 과정으로 구성되어 있다. This paper describes the knowledge extraction for image understanding in knowledge based system. The current set of low level processes operate on the numerical pixel arrays, to segment the image into region and to convert the image into directional image, and to calculate feature for these regions. The current set of intermedate level processes operate on the results of earlier knowledge source to build more complex representations of the data. We have grouped into thee categories : feature based classification, geometric token relation, perceptual organization and grouping.

        Relaxation을 이용한 2차원 물체의 형상매칭에 관한 연구

        본 논문은 2차원 물체의 형상 매칭에 관한것으로 다각근사화된 단순 2차원 물체에 적용하였다. 많은 형상 매칭 방법론이 수학적 벡터의 의현에 기초를 두고 확솔적인 패턴 인식을 사용하고 있다. 유출된 형상의 다양성과 많은 데이타량은 형상의 전체적인 구조의 관계를 나타내는데 단점을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 영상을 다 각근사적 과정를 통하여 Relaxation 라벨링 기술을 이용함으로써 형상 매칭의 지점을 해결하였다. This paper prrsents shape matching of two-dimensional object. This shape matching is applied to two-dimensional simple c10sedcurves represented by polygons. A large number of shape matching procedures have proposed baseed on teh view that shape can be represented by a vector of numerical features, and that this representation can be matched using techniques from statical pattern recognition. The varieties of features that have been extracted from shapes and used to represent them are numerous. But all of these feature-based approches suffer from the shortcoming that the descriptor of a segment of a shape do not ordinarily bear any simple relations hip to the description for the entire shape. We solve the segment matching problem of shape matching, defined as the recognition of a piece of a shape as approximate match to a part of large shape, by using relaxation labeling technique.

      • 공간 주파수 영역에서 지문영상의 합성에 관한 연구

        This paper aims to extract characteristics of the spectrum of fingerprint image and to apply them to image synthesis techniques in the Spatial Frequency Domain. In order to extract characteristics of the spectrum of the fingerprint image, We set up the subimage of 1×64 windows as processing unit and I combined the record of various lengths with the overlap and gathered the power speatrum density estimate for each combination. The characteristics of the spectrum were applied to the re-synthesis processes of the fingerprint image and obtained the enhanced gray scale image.

        In this paper, we studied the method of path distribution in order to increase reliability of the network by reducing path congestion, solving the problems of increasing blocking statistics, and increasing the utilization of network resource. A scheme of efficient path calculation which can reduce the traffic congestion in an arbitrary link is proposed by path calculation equations considering link occupation rates. A rapid method of establishing a connection which can efficiently cope with accidental connection failure are studied.

        In this paper, we present a simulator of flash memory and its card which using USB controller named GDS30C6001. GDS30C6001 for system implementation is a interface controller of MMC and SSFCD card which operated with limit speed 12Mbit/s in USB Ver.1.1 and under circumstances windows 95, 98 and Mac Os 8.1. Using this controller, we implemented functional design such as automatic reading, memory block read/write, memory dump and file property of 8M/16M flash memory and 32M SMC. And with this results, we could effectively process the system design and debugging.

      • Implementation of the Automatic Pigpen Management System based on Sensor Networks

        In this paper, we will take about the design and implementation of application service system based on sensor networks. As the components of application service system, we will take about middleware and its application services. There are 4 catalogues of module that consist of middleware, on the other hand, query processing module to deal with the requests from application service system, control module to control and manage meta data, module to connect with sensor nodes, and API solution to support user’s service. Based on the implemented middleware, in the high level of system, it is implemented service of system management, control service, and query processing service corresponding to happened events, and management and store service for sensing data.
