A Case of Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM) accompanying Mycoplasma pneumoniae Infection

Mycoplasma pneumoniae 감염은 기관지염과 폐렴을 일으키는 가장 흔한 병원체로서 폐외 합병증으로서는 중추신경계 증상이 있다. 급성 파종성 뇌척수염은 M. pneumoniae에 의해 발생하는 중추신경계 합병증 중 드문 증상이다. 한랭 혈구응집소 검사와 뇌의 자기공명영상으로 M. pneumoniae 감염과 동반된 급성 파종성 뇌척수염을 진단하고 정맥 면역글로불린 투여 후 호전된 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Mycoplasma pneumoniae is a common agent causing tracheobronchitis and pneumonia and its most frequent extrapulmonary complications include central nervous system (CNS) manifestations. Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) is a rare neurological complication due to M. pneumoniae. We experienced a case of ADEM from M. pneumoniae infection, diagnosed by cold hemagglutinin test and brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The patient was almost completely cured with intravenous immunoglobulin therapy. We therefore report the case with a review of the literature.

Gas removal characteristics of an air clean system, consisted of a filter and a nonthermal discharge plasma reactor with a magnetic field, have been investigated with emphasis on the enhancing gas removal efficiency of the applied magnetic field. It is found that the magnetic field influenced significantly to the corona discharge characteristics, decreasing the corona onset voltage and increasing the corona current. As a result, the proposed air clean system with the magnetic field showed the higher removal efficiency of the gas (e.g., trimethlyamine) than that of without the magnetic field. This would be because the magnetic field applied to the discharge plasma reactor of the air clean system can elevate the corona characteristics, and activate the generation of ozone, thus the removal efficiency of the gas was concurrently enhanced. This reveals that the proposed air clean system with the magnetic field could be used as an effective means of removal an indoor pollutant gas.

A compact discharge plasma system with a photocatalyst has been proposed and investigated experimentally for application to air conditioners. It was found that there was intense ultra violet radiation with high energy of 3.2 eV from the corona discharge due to the DC-biased pulse voltage applied on a wire. An electrophotochemical reaction took place apparently on the surfaces of the photocatalyst of TiO₂ irradiated ultra violet from the discharge plasma in the proposed plasma system. The proposed discharge plasma system with the photocatalyst of TiO₂ showed very high removal efficiency of VOCs by the additional electrophotochemical reactions on the photocatalyst. The proposed discharge plasma system also showed very high removal efficiency of particles such as smokes, suspended bacteria, and pollen and mite allergens by the electrostatic precipitation part. This type of corona discharge plasma system with a photocatalyst can be used as an effective means of removing both indoor pollutant gases and particles including suspended allergens.

Fluoric acid etching is an essential procedure in cementation of reinforced ceramics to tooth surface. But there have been few studies about the changes of surface structure and flexural strength of IPS $Empress^{(R)}$ 2 ceramic according to the etching time. The objectives of this study were to examine the surface structure changes and the difference in biaxial flexural strength of IPS $Empress^{(R)}$ 2 ceramic according to various etching times. Sixty one disk-shaped specimens of IPS $Empress^{(R)}$ 2 ceramic($14mm{\times}1.2mm$) were fabricated for the biaxial flexural strength test and SEM analysis according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Sixty specimens were divided into 6 groups(n=10) according to the time of HF acid etching(0, 20, 180 and 300s)and silane/resin cement application. Each disk was loaded using a piston-on-3 ball biaxial configuration in a universal testing machine. The failure loads(N) were recorded, and the biaxial flexural strength for each disk was calculated. A one-way analysis of variance and independent t-test on transformed fracture strength data were used to determine significant differences between groups. The groups of no cementation showed a trend toward progressive weakening with increasing the etching time. However, this was not statistically significant at p=0.05 level. The groups of resin cementation exhibited no apparent trend in their mean strength values. SEM photomicrographs showed very different results of etching. Within the conditions of this study, alteration of surface topography by acid etching does not have a deleterious effect on the biaxial flexural strength of IPS $Empress^{(R)}$ 2 ceramic.

문학과 무용의 통합적 심리치료 분야는 표현예술치료 기법으로 새로운 개척분야이다. 개별적 장르별 예술치료 연구는 그 동안 임상연구에서도 상당한 실적이 있었으나, 두 장르에 대한 통합적 학제간 연구는 부각되지 못했다. 본고는 ``인간중심 표현예술치료``를 근본으로 삼고 ``긍정적 개념의 심리치료 기법``으로서 창조적 예술과 치료적 작업을 통합한 무용심리치료와 문학심리치료의 통합적 연구를 시도하였다. 표현예술치료에는 무용치료, 미술치료, 음악치료, 연극치료, 글쓰기(시. 편지, 수필 등), 시낭송 이미지를 포함한 모든 예술형태가 가능하기에 각종 예술의 종합적 활용으로 심리치료의 효과는 극대화 될 수 있다. 개인의 창조성을 일깨우는 표현예술을 적극적으로 활용하는 치료는 내적 갈등을 해소하고 정서적 치료의 촉진에 기여하기 때문이다. 무용심리치료는 외형적 표출의 해소방법으로써, 문학심리치료는 내면적 고백의 해방감의 도구로써 효과적인 활용이 가능하다. 무용심리치료의 방법인 춤-동작을 통하여 자아를 되찾을 수 있고, 문학심리치료의 방법인 글쓰기를 통한 내면의 자아인식을 각성해 나갈 수 있다. 글쓰기와 동시에 책읽기는 스스로 그 주인공에 동질화 되어감으로써 현실을 인식할 수 있고, 극복과정에 자극을 줌으로써 각성 효과를 낳게 한다.무용과 문학, 그 통합적 표현예술치료의 대안으로 ``긍정적 심리치료``기법의 적용은 내담자들을 위한 또 하나의 치료적 프로그램이다. 이러한 예술치료의 학제간 접근방법은 이제 폭넓게 응용되어야 할 것이다. 이를 통하여 그 동안 단편적으로만 실시해 오던 심리치료 문제는 각 장르별 예술가들의 적극적인 참여로 보다 다양해 질 수 있을 것이며, 나아가 심층적으로도 확대 및 재생산 될 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 최근에 사회복지 차원에서 대중화 되고 있는 MTBT, 또는 NLP의 메커니즘도 활용한다면 그 효과를 더욱 극대화 시킬 수 있을 것이다. 최종적으로 이 논문의 한계로는 이러한 이론적 접근방법이 실제적으로 응용될 때 예상되는 일정 시행착오를 들 수 있다. 그러나 지속적인 임상실험을 거친다면 충분히 발전적인 결과가 나올 것으로 기대한다. As a expressive arts therapy, combination of literature and dance as a field of integrative psychotherapy is an entirely new frontier. Individual art therapy in clinical studies to study each of literature and dance were conducted before, but for the interdisciplinary study of two genres rarely. This work aims to study the positive idea of psychotherapy in each dance psychotherapy and literature psychotherapy based on human-centered expressive arts therapy by Natalie Rogers. Creative arts and treatment operations will be integrated. Expressive arts therapy includes; dance therapy, art therapy. Music therapy, Writing, short drama ect. It is more efficient by mobilizing the various arts to maximize the effectiveness of treatment. expressive arts can be used to resolve inner conflicts, and to awaken individual creativity. Dance psychotherapy can be used for the outward expression of depression and literature psychotherapy can be used as a instrument to release inner consciousness of redemption. dance psychotherapy is searching oneself through dance-like motion and writing is exploring the inner self-awareness through writing. It helps patient to overcome difficulties in reality by being somebody in the story. Integrated treatment of literature, dance and expressive arts as a ``positive psychological treatment`` technique is another therapeutic program for clients (patients). This kind of Art Therapy should be widely applied now. Dance psychotherapy can be used for the outward expression and literature psychotherapy can be used as a way to relieve the inner consciousness of redemption. In addition, theater, art, music and other arts fighters along with psychotherapy may be more effective. As well as the mechanism of NLP will be more effective. Finally, the limitations of this study are expected some trial. Via ongoing clinical trials will be followed by the development. In the meantime, if various genre of artists joins combined arts therapy of dance and literature, it would make even more diverse and expanded reproduction of therapy.

Psychological treatment interface between integrated expressional arts of dance and literature is a treatment program not only for clients (patients) but also for general people. This positive approach of an arttherapy should be widely applicable to an everyday situation. As a method of a physical expression, dance psychological therapy can be an effective and a practical tool for feeling free of his or her awareness. If used with other art therapy, such as play, art, and music, it is expected to be effective. With NLP mechanism, it can be more effective. One can realize him or herself through dance-action and explore an internal self-awareness through writing. Two methods are suggested. One is to let clients read find piece of literature selected by its category and contents and induce them to discuss their feelings. Second method is that clients read though books, understand the situation of the story, have great empathy with a main character, recognize a reality, and finally overcome their own problems. Through employing these methods integrative and systematically, it is possible to maximize therapeutic action.Psychological therapistsof dance and literature can explore alternatives though running more professional and variouskinds of programs continuously. However, integrative psychological therapy of dance and literature suggested in this thesis is limited to only supporting roles. It is just a theoretical suggestion, because the field of integrative psychological therapy is not yet fully developed. Therefore, it is expected to have a process of trial and error. It is, however, effective to approach these theories scientifically and professionally rather than executing without theoretical background. Furthermore, integrative psychological therapy of dance and literature can be more systematic and can study further therapeutic action with professional artists’participation, which has been run fragmentarily. There are limits in psychological consulting and repeated medical treatment. They recur even after clients completely recovered or patients suffer from ill effects.
