This paper proposes a 3.3-kW bi-directional EV charger with V2G and V2H functions. The bi-directional EV charger consists of a DC-DC converter and a DC-AC inverter. The proposed EV charger is suitable for wide battery voltage control due to the two-stage configuration of the DC-DC converter. By employing a fixed-frequency series loaded resonant converter as the isolated DC-DC converter, zero-current-switching can be achieved regardless of battery voltage variation, load variation, and power flow. A 3.3-kW prototype of the proposed EV charger has been built and verified with experiments, and indicates a maximum efficiency of 94.39% and rated efficiency of 94.23%.

This paper describes the lightning protection system for railway signaling equipments installed at subway car depots in Seoul metropolitan Rapid Transit Cooperation. Several measures for improving lightning protection performance are adopted; newly organized grounding system for neutral line of power system, rolling method to minimize damages induced by direct lightning strike, new measures to reduce voltage differences between the signaling equipments and the ground, and improvement of grounding system. The proposed system has greatly reduced the grounding resistance and also the voltage difference between the signaling equipments and the ground, and has prevented the accident related with lightning surges since it was installed. The proposed approach can be viewed as a useful alternative of dealing with lightning protection for railway signaling equipments.
계통임피던스 추정을 통한 계통연계 인버터의 제어기 이득 조정 기법

본 논문은 태양광, 풍력발전, 연료전지 시스템 등의 계통연계 분산 전원시스템에서 계통 임피던스 추정을 이용한 계통연계 인버터의 제어기 이득 조정 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법에 사용된 계통임피던스 추정 방법은 계통연계 인버터 출력측의 유효전력과 무효전력량을 순시 적으로 변화시킨다. 전력에 순시적인 변화를 주는 동안 발생되는 두 개의 동작 점에서 측정된 전압, 전류 값을 기반으로 계통 측 임피던스를 추정한다. 추정된 계통임피던스를 이용한 제어기 이득 조정 기법을 통해 제어기의 안정성을 보장한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 알고리즘의 성능을 검증한다.

The conventional LCL filter design method of the utility interactive inverter considers only harmonics attenuation of the current injected to the grid. However, in case of utility-interactive inverter with critical load the voltage quality of the critical load should also be considered for LCL filter design. Also, considering cost and volume of LCL filters. it is important to have minimum values of inductance and capacitance as far as the harmonic standards are satisfied. In this paper a LCL filter design method is proposed to satisfy not only the harmonic standards of the grid current during the grid-connected mode but the voltage quality of the critical load during grid-connected mode and stand-alone mode. With the proposed method optimized values of LCL filters could be obtained by applying weighting factor to voltage ripple across the critical load, inductor volume, amount of reactive current and system bandwidth.
