For the post-evaluatlon of the RPPP, the study select two case regions and did the questionnaire and on the spot survey. This is for analyzing the present condition and problems of that selected region and try to find out the solution. As a result of this study, there were differences of opinion according to the character of the region and also were some problems like the equality between effected region and unaffected region, lacking of the parking zone, and the difficulties of the parking control, etc. Considering this problems, counter-solution are this. First, RPPP has to be performed in the district, where STM(site Transportation Management) has done and where the parking-control is done frequently and RPPP has to be done as soon as possible. Secondly, the pubic parking lot has to be constructed using the housing zone and each house has to secure its parling lot. Third, for the visitor's car, parking boundary line, the street light and emergency considering the regional character. Lastly, the parking controlling office with the control system has to be installed.
一方通行制 效果分析에 關한 硏究 : 光州市의 龜成路를 中心으로 About the Kusung-ro in Kwangju

The purpose of this study is to analyse the effectiveness of one-way system in Kusung-ro which is a arterial road troubled with serious traffic jam in downtown area. T7F program, useful to intersection link analysis, was used to evaluate traffic flow including delay, cycle length, PI and running speed. The results are as follows, 1. Introducing one-way system in Kusung-ro with interconnected control would reduce traffic cycle length and improve PI value by 52∼45% and ease traffic flow. 2. Average speed would be raised to 15.49km/h(131%) if the traffic volume increase 14.7% and 14.42km/h(115%) if the traffic volume increase 19.3% from current 6.72km/h. 3. Total delay would be decresed by 283.2 hour, if the troffic volume increase 14.7% and 251.33 hour, if the traffic volume increase 19.3% that would be equival ent to 782.552 won and 693,709 won respectively in terms of money. 4. Fuel consumption in peak time would be saved 717.6 liter and 588.47 liter if curbpa-as the troffic volume increase 14.7% and 19.3% respectively. 5. Therefore introducing one-way system in comparatively narrow arterial road in downtown area like Kusung-ro would be effective means to increase transportation and running speed to ease traffic flow to economize transportation cost.

The characteristics of Kwang ju City and renewal problems of C.B.D are analyzed and evaluated in this study. From these things, the reasonable driving direction of Renewal Kwang ju C.B.D is groped. So we obtained the following results by applying the method of district plan system and of Mixed Use Development to the renewal of C.B.D. 1. It is essential to set the firm basis of planning and designing criteria. 2. Citizen participation in the process of planning and designing criteria. 3. It is neccessary to operate the information center of urban renewal. 4. It is neccessary to establish a unified managing system of district unit for renewal. 5. A developmental method made in cooperation with a research institute the Korea Land Developing Corporation, a Building corporation is needed.

The biggest problem in urban transportation is the management of delays and stops on intersection. The progressin of signal system could be an effective measure to solve these kinds of problems. However if the inner varialbes which are aplied to progression signal disign are lack of feasibility, we can't expect the realibility of effectiveness evaluation. Therefore the purpose of this study is to correct data on 3 intersection ranging from Kwangchun INT. to Nongsung INT. by the means of VTR Recording and Site Survey and to measure the responsiveness of Performance Index by diversifying the Platoon Dispersion Factor in Signal Progression Simulation. The results are as follows 1. The Value of Platoon Dispersion Factor was 0.28-0.33. The value in up stream is lower than that of in down stream even on the same intersection. 2. Platoon Index showed big changes, though Performance Index didn't according to Platoon Dispersion Factor. Therefore the value of Platoon Dispersion Factor which is inner variable in T7F can be fixed for 0.34. 3. There was only little divergence in Performance Index changes according to Platoon Dispersion Factor in designing the progression of T7F model.
