        Book paper color, emblem cloths color and spectroscopic analysis of restoration cover design textile of 20 Jang Seo Gag royal family books(Joseon Dynasty) of The Academy of Korea Studies. For the calculation of traditional books, more systematic calculation of data is required to uphold and restore insufficient actual condition and the old books. The study is based on the colors which are able to be analyzed within the limits of having no influence on books because it is currently impossible to analyze the properties of matter in detail. In consequence of this study, we formed a conclusion as below : The materials of production form of traditional paper for restoring original form is insufficient. The range of color change of korean paper(Han Gi) is not extremely changed even for a long period. Currently, there is also possibility of restoration of book paper color and cover design textile color. For the restoration of original form, dual production for the method of paper production in a modern style and pure traditional method of paper production is required. For the color analysis, by using new technological equipment rather than rough calculation, preservation of data, which can be restored by anyone in original form by data in the future through calculation for analysis of properties of matters and data preservation, is required. The main causes of color change are the variables such as the original source, state of treatment of the production process and state of preservation, but based on analyzed data like those, I wish it would be helpful to the basic data for restoration.

        The relationships between number of butterfly species and area of islands, the composition of flora and distance from the species pool, the derivative concept of equilibrium theory of island biogeography, were calculated to show the distributional pattern of the species in Korean Archipelago. The results were; 1. The highest correlation value was 0.910 with composition of flora and butter fly species. 2. Two factors, area and the composition of flora, were significant (P〈0.01). 3. k-value of the area and butterfly species was 0.30, which indicated the composition butterflies of Korean islands had an insular trend. 4. The relationship between area and butterfly species in Korea was represented by the formula, Y=0.2996x+0.7988

        It has been argued over the years that wh-phrase in a wh-question function as the focus of the question. In this paper we argue that this is true only in a very small number of cases (such as echo-questions) and that in all other cases the focus of the question lies elsewhere. The analysis of focus in questions presented here will then be shown to enable explanations for the following phenomena : (1) the possibility of questioning in particular cases ; (2) stress in questions and (3) scope in multiple wh-questions. It has been shown that an analysis of wh-questions in terms of dominance has been fruitful. First, it was pointed out that wh-words are not necessarily the focus of questions, on the contrary, this is only so in echo questions and the like. In restrictive questions the wh-words participate together as a dominant n-tuple, but each one separately is not dominant. When there is one restrictively dominant wh-phrase in a question it again is not dominant or focus of such a question ; it is rather the selection of an unspecified subset of a fixed set (a contrast) that is called for. Second, wh-movement (in questions) was seen to follow from the dominance condition and the different stress assignments in questions were seen to follow from the same stress rules needed for assertions. Third, the distinction between regular dominance and restrictive dominance was applied to questions, Finally the various reading of multiple wh-questions (so-called wide and narrow scope reading) were argued to follow from dominance assignment.

        HLA-RTI에 기반 한 비행시뮬레이션에 관한 연구

        IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)1516 에 규정된 HLA(High Level Architecture) 기반 기술은 상이한 목적으로 개발된 다수의 개별 시뮬레이션들이 결합된 복합 시뮬레이션 네트워크 시스템을 구성하는데 있어서 필수적 요소이다. 본 논문에서는 상용 비행 시뮬레이션을 HLA를 기반으로 구현하는 과정과 구현된 시스템의 동작 과정을 보여줌으로써 확장성 및 상호 운용성을 갖춘 비행 시뮬레이션 모델 구조를 제시하였다. 또한 HLA 를 기반으로 구현된 실시간 시뮬레이션 시스템과 상용 비행 시뮬레이션을 비교하여 얻어진 비행 정보 데이터 분석을 통해 완벽한 실시간성을 보장할 수 있는 지에 대한 여부를 판단하였다. The HLA system architecture, prescribed in IEEE-1516, is a core fundamental technology to build a complex simulation network system which is composed of a number of individual simulation developed for different purposes. The model structure of flight simulation with expansibility and compatability was suggested in this thesis by showing how to implement HLA to a commercial flight simulation software and how the system implemented with HLA to work. In addition, it was judged whether real-time can be guaranteed implementing to a simulation system with integrity through analysis of flight information data collected by comparing real-time simulation based on HLA with commercial flight simulation.

        Effect of island geography on plant species on uninhabited islands in southeastern South Korea

        We investigated the pattern of floral diversity including naturalized plant species and three ecological factors (area, elevation and distance from mainland) of plant species on 53 uninhabited islands in Gyungsangnam-do, southeastern South Korea. A total of 206 taxa in 67 families were observed, and the species of Compositae was most common. Thirteen taxa in eight families of the naturalized plants were observed on 33 islands. The numbers of total plant species, area and elevation were significantly correlated, but no relationship with distance from the mainland was observed. In addition, no relationship was found among the numbers of naturalized plants, area and elevation. However, the average rate of naturalization on islands with different elevations differed significantly, indicating the smallest proportion of naturalized plant species was on high islands. Multiple regression of total species richness identified elevation as a significant factor, while no significant variables were correlated with naturalized plant species. Nonmetric multidimensional scaling (NMS) ordination identified three major variables, distance from mainland, number of naturalized plant species and elevation. These findings indicate that the geography of islands such as area and elevation affected the species richness of plants on uninhabited islands, while human disturbance had a greater effect than geography on the species richness of naturalized plants on islands in southeastern South Korea.

        Application of S-100 Standard in the field of e-Navigation

        In order to improve the existing S-57 standard, International Hydrographic Organization(IHO) has developed S-100 standard, a Universal Hydrographic Data Model(UHDM) expanded from ISO 19100 series standard to hydrographic area, and is in the process of its implementation. International Maritime Organization(IMO) has established CMDS based on e-Navigation strategy data standard as International Association of Lighthouse Authorities(IALA) established IHDM based on aids to navigation data standard and each data standard is linked with the S-100 standard. Fundamental concept and core principles of S-100 standard is suitable not only for the development of a wide range of hydrographic data and service production standard, including the next generation ENC, but also the development of product specification of non-hydrographic area. This study has examined the operation principle of S-100 standard and analyzed its implementation process as e-Navigation data in relation with ENC. It also noted the utilization of S-100 standard based e-Navigation and its potential effect via examining the development cases of S-100 standard-based product specification, such as nautical publication, ship reporting and pilot request, digital routing guide, tide and water level transmission and other important data cases of e-Navigation field.
