In clinical practice, restoration of primary incisors severely affected by caries continues to be a challenge. Not only are these teeth difficult to restore. but the behavior of the patient can affect treatment negatively. An acceptable restoration for maxillary anterior incisors should have matching material color, durability, adhesive cementation that is biocompatible with the pulp, easily and rapidly placed. This Paper describes two cases showing an alternative technique for the construction of completely destroyed upper incisors with polyethylene ribbons for retention and stability for the resin crowns.
만성경부통증 환자에 대한 근막이완술과 경피신경 전기자극 치료가 치료기간에 따라 관절가동범위와 통증에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is compare the effects of two therapeutic processes-ⅰ) conservative Myofacial Release Technique along and ⅱ) Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve stimuliation alone - on the increase in the range of motion(ROM) and on the decrease in patient's pain with chronic Neck pain. The subjects of the study were student with choronic neck pain in Daegu health university. Half of them (10) took conservative Myofacial Release Technique along and the others (10) took Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve stimuliation alone.I used 3D Motion analysis. The range of motion (ROM) in six areas-flexion, extension, left lateral flexion, right lateral flexion, left rotation, right rotation-to check the effectiveness of the two combinations of methods, measured pain with visual analogue scale (VAS) to see the effect on pain reduce. Assement was conducted to the groups before the treatment began and affer the four weeks treatment ended. This study shows that both groups demonstrated significant improvement in ROM increase and pain reduction. Flexion ROM increases were significant in MFR and TENS after treatment 2 weeks and 4 weeks. Extension ROM increases were significant in MFR and TENS after treatment 2 weeks. Right rotation ROM was no significant differences were found in MFR and TENS after treatment all weeks. Right lateral flexion ROM increases were significant in MFR and TENS after treatment 3 weeks. Left lateral flexion ROM increases were significant in MFR and TENS after treatment 1 weeks. But the others no significant differences were in MFR group and TENS group during 4 weeks.
고층사무소건물의 매스구성을 위한 전문가 시스템의 개발에 관한 연구

건축에서의 전문가 시스템은 설계자에게 많은 가상적인 해결안을 반복해서 수집해야할 수고를 줄여주고 모델링이나 정보제공과 같은 정형적인 측면과 설계의 판단, 상황별 특성과 같은 비정형적인 측면을 연결시키는 도구로 작용한다. 본 연구는 고층사무소건물의 설계과정 중 매스 구성 단계에서 중요한 역할을 하는 요소를 찾아내고, 그 요소들의 정형화 및 표준화 작업을 통해 고층사무소건물의 매스구성을 보조하는 전문가 시스템을 개발하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결론을 요약해보면 다음과 같다. 건축설계작업 중 매스구성 단계를 제한조건을 만족시켜나가는 제한조건 만족모델로 인식할 수 있었으며, 이 제한조건의 일부를 체계화하여 건물의 매스구성을 보조할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하는 것이 가능하였다. 또, 개발된 시스템을 실제 사례를 통해 평가해 본 결과 타당성 있는 결과물을 산출할 수 있었다. In architecture, the expert system helps architects reduce unnecessarily repeated process. It also serves as a tool of linking patterned processes such as medeling and information provision, with unpatterned processes like decision-making process which can produce different results depending on the situation. This study is devoted to develop an expert system which is helpful to find out the important factors in massing process and to assist the massing of high-rise office buildings through patternization and standardization. The conclusion from the study as follows; It is definitely possible to make the expert system recognize the massing process as a process of meeting all the constraints on a step-by-step basis. So, the developed expert system can assist the massing process by systemizing parts of the constraints. It also proved that the developed knowledge-based system can produce proper outputs as its test showed during the study.
제통단이 퇴행성 슬관절염 환자의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향

Objectives : to evaluate the effects of Jetongdan, the newly developed herbal medicine, on the quality of life in patients with osteoarthritis of knee Methods : Placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trial on the 80 patients with osteoarthritis of the knee was fulfilled. After enrollment, they took medication as they enrolled. And they were asked to answer the questionnaires (Korean Health Assessment Questionnaire (KHAQ), Lequesne's functional index (LF1), visual analogue scale (VAS)) and analysed with the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) at baseline, after 4 weeks and 8 weeks of medication. Results : Total KHAQ score, some categories of KHAQ like hygiene, activities were significantly improved after 8 weeks of medication. And the change of the KHAQ score was significantly correlated with the change of VAS. But LFI, VAS, ESR level was not significantly improved, and it was considered because of the short medication period and small size of study population. Conclusion : In conclusion, Jetongdan could improve the health-related quality of life in patients with osteoarthritis of knee. Further study in the large population, in long period were recommended.
대구경 볼트와 와이어텐션을 이용한 슬래브 보강공법에 관한 실험적 연구

As time goes up, structural capacity of members decreases in reinforced concrete structures. The deterioration of the capacity is mainly due to the poor construction, corrosion of steel bars and the neutralization of concrete due to environmental pollution, etc. This deterioration is unavoidable, thus it is necessary to develop the method for repair and retrofit of structures in order to ensure structural safety of members. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the load-deflection, ultimate strength, failure mode, and energy absorption capacity of reinforced concrete slabs subject to load experimentally for several variables and grasp the problem of concrete slabs strengthened with large diameter bolts and wire tensioning. And propose foundational research data for4 strengthening reinforced concrete slabs. The test result shows that the capacity of anchorage is controlled by bearing capacity of concrete under the anchorage or punching shear around the anchorage. And the gap between bolts and core hole must be filled to prevent slip and rotation of anchorage.
Shigella flexneri ATCC 29903를 이용한 ERIC-과 REP-PCR 반응 구성성분 농도의 최적화

We attempted to optimize the concentrations of PCR components such as MgCl2, Primers, dNTPs and template DNA to produce fingerpriting patterns of the ERIC- and REP-PCR products for Shigella flexneri ATCC 29903, The ERIC-PCR reactions resulted in a total number of 6 to 9 fragments and the REP-PCR reactions a total number of 10 to 14 fragments. These Phenomena can be explained by the hypothesis that more copies of REP sequences are present on bacterial chromosomes than those of ERIC sequences are. ERIC-PCR reactions generated two major bands of 0.7kb and 1.2kb DNA fragments. They also had the number of PCR products and their band intensity increased as the concentrations of the above four PCR components were increased REP-PCR reactions generated multiple PCR Products between 0.6kb and 4.1kb in size including three major bands of 0.6kb, 0.7kb and 2.2kb DNA fragments. Their band intensity was also increased as the concentrations of the above four PCR components were increased. The PCR reaction cocktails containing 2.0mM MgCl2, 2.0μM primers, 200μM dNTPs and 1.0㎕ template DNA, respectively, yielded the maximum number of PCR products. As the above four components were added more than the concentrations mentioned above in PCR reaction cocktails, the number of PCR products was not increased and the overall fingerprinting patterns remained unchanged. Therefore, a PCR reaction cocktail containing 2.0mM MgCl2, 2.0μM primers, 200μM dNTPs and 1.0㎕ template DNA can be suggested to generate the most optimized PCR fingerprinting patterns .
