2016년 7월 6일부터 8일까지 전라남도 진도군 일대를 한국거미연구회 회원인 김주필, 지승환, 이형민, 이형진, 이현동 등이 채집 조사한 결과 19과 47속 62종의 거미가 조사 연구되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. The author investigated the spiders of Jin island in July 06~08.2016. In the present paper 62 species of 47 genera belongs to 19 families were identified. These specimens are deposited at the Joo-Pil Spider Museum, Namyangju-Si, Gyeonggi-Do.

2016년 8월 3일부터 5일까지 제주특별자치도 서귀포시 대정읍 마라도 일대를 한국거미연구회 하계 합동채집회에 김주필, 예용택, 최한석, 장지현, 예성훈, 김태우, 김대희, 지승환, 이형민, 이형진, 신정애, 허양미, 이영경, 최라미, 이윤정 등이 채집조사한 결과 15과, 39속, 45종의 거미류가 조사연구되어 이에 보고하는 바이다. The authors investigated the spiders of the Mara Island in Jeju Island. In the present paper 45 species of 39 genera belong to 15 families were identified. These specimens are deposited at the Joo-Pil Spider Museum, Namyangju-Si, Kyunggi-Do.

From August 2 to 3 in 2017. Koran Arachnological Study members investigated the Spiders in the whole area Incheon Namdong-gu, and reported 14 Families, 38 Genus 50 Species of spiders. The collected spiders are placed (stored) in the Joo-Pil Spider museum.

For the administration of narcotic antagonist with short half-life and low patient compliance. the sustained release system using biodegradable matrix is effective. Polyphosphazenes are of considerable interest as biodegradable matrix systems for controlled release of drugs. In this study. biodegradable polyphosphazenes available for the sustained release implantable device were synthesized. and their application was examined. Poly〔dichlorophosphazene〕 was synthesized by solution polymerization method and confirmed with IR spectrum. Poly〔bis(ethyl glycinate) phosphazene〕 and poly[(diethyl glutamate)-co-(ethyl glycinate)phosphazene] were then produced by substitution of amino acid alkyl esters for chloride side groups. Using these polymers. the implantable devices of 1 ㎜ thickness and l0 × 10 ㎜ size containing naloxone hydrochloride were prepared and their release and degradation profiles were measured. In the case of poly〔bis(ethyl glycinate)phosphazene〕 with swelling characteristics, degradation rate was slower than the release rate, showing that the release rate is partly dependent on the swelling rate. In contrast, the degradation rate of poly〔(diethyl glutamate)-co-(ethyl glycinate)phos-phazene〕 matrix was identical with release rate of naloxone hydrochloride. On the basis of these results, it is expected that these polymers can be applied to sustained release implantable systems delivering narcotic antagonist.

Bacterial strains showing the fibrinolytic activity were screened from Doenjang (Korean traditional soybean paste). The strain 5,6, 13 and 15 isolated from Doenjang showed a high level of caseinolytic and fibrinolytic activity. The fibrinolytic activities of strain 5, 6, 13, and 15 were 32.9, 31.0, 22.3, and 23.2 unit, respectively. A strain 5 among the four strains showed the highset fibrinolytic activity (32 unit), and subsequently identified as Bacillus subtilis. The fibrinolytic strain was designated as Bacillus subtilis KS-5.

Rupture of the main bronchus followed by blunt chest trauma is relatively rare but, with increasing traffic accidents, the incidence has been increasing recently. Early diagnosis and management for the traumatic bronchial rupture is essential to reduce morbidity, mortality and late complication but often, it is comcealed in cases of blunt chest trauma and particularly it is associated with multiple other organ injuires. Especially, bronchial pseudoaneurysm which maintains airway patency after complete transection of the bronchus by blunt chest trauma is very unusual case. We report a case of a 15 year old male who had complete bronchial transection with bronchial pseudoaneurysm.The bronchial rupture was comfirmed by spiral chest CT and 3D reconstruction. In the operation, right main bronchus was completely transected and separated but the airway was patent to the right lung by pseudoaneurysm of the bronchus. Resection of the pseudoaneurysm and end to end anastomosis of the bronchus was performed successfully.

Background and Objectives: Two hundred cases of the open heart surgery due to congenital and acquired heart disease were done using the cardiopulmonary bypass in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular surgery, Chosun University Hospital from November, 1980 to June, 2001. Material and Methods: The number of congenital heart disease was 132 cases. 68 cases were acquired heart disease. 'The age of the congenital heart disease was from 22 days to 45 years. In the acquired heart disease, the age was from 14 to 72 years. Result: Congenital heart disease consisted of 113 congenital acyanotic heart disease, 19 congenital cyanotic heart disease. Corrective operation was done for congenital heart disease with 4. 5 % operative mortality. Of 68 cases acquired heart disease, 44 patients were valvular heart disease, 3 cardiac tumors, 9 ischemic heart diseases, 12 aortic dissections and etc. The operative mortality was 13%. Conclusion: The postoperative complications were appeared in 68 cases and the complications were wound infection, occipital alopecia, low cardiac output syndrome, arrhythmia, septicemia etc. The mortality after open heart surgery was 15 cases and the causes of death were low cardiac output syndrome, septicemia, respiratory failure and left ventricle rupture.

It is difficult to cast pure titanium by usual dental casting method, because titanium has a high melting temperature and high chemical reactivity with mold material and air at high temperatures. Developing new titanium alloys that have lower melting points and less reactivity may solve these problems. Ti-Pd alloy has a great potential for dental casting alloys. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of Pd in titanium on mechanical properties, microstructure and phase transformation behaviours in dentistry. CP-Ti, Ti-15wt%Pd, Ti-25wt%Pd and Ti-35wt%Pd were cast into phosphate bonded Al₂0₃/SiO₂ investment by using an argon arc melting/centrifugal castings machine. The following results were obtained; Ti and Ti-Pd alloys investigated had good castability by argon arc melting/centrifugal castings method. The phase as cast state were all alpha Ti in CP-Ti, mostly alpha Ti with some Ti₂Pd in Ti-15wt%Pd, all beta Ti in Ti-25wt%Pd and mostly Ti₂Pd with some alpha Ti in Ti-35wt%Pd. Ti-25wt%Pd alloy had an adequate mechanical properties for dental applications, but as-cast phase decompose above 490℃.
