A Novel Image Completion Algorithm Based on Planar Features
( Mang Xiao ),( Yunxiang Liu ),( Li Xie ),( Qiaochuan Chen ),( Guangyao Li ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2018 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.12 No.8
A novel image completion method is proposed that uses the advantage of planar structural information to fill corrupted portions of an image. First, in estimating parameters of the projection plane, the image is divided into several planes, and their planar structural information is analyzed. Second, in calculating the a priori probability of patch and patch offset regularity, this information is converted into a constraint condition to guide the process of filling the hole. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is fast and effective, and ensures the structure continuity of the damaged region and smoothness of the texture.
Experimental study of internal solitary wave loads on the semi-submersible platform

A prediction method, based on the Morison equation as well as Froude-Krylov formula, is presented to simulate the loads acting on the columns and caissons of the semi-submersible platform induced by Internal SolitaryWave (ISW) respectively. Combined with the experimental results, empirical formulas of the drag and inertia coefficients in Morison equation can be determined as a function of the Keulegan eCarpenter (KC) number, Reynolds number (Re) and upper layer depth h1=h respectively. The experimental and calculated results are compared. And a good agreement is observed, which proves that the present prediction method can be used for analyzing the ISW-forces on the semi-submersible platform. Moreover, the results also demonstrate the layer thickness ratio has a significant effect upon the maximum horizontal forces on the columns and caissons, but both minimum horizontal and vertical forces are scarcely affected. In addition, the incoming wave directions may also contribute greatly to the values of horizontal forces exerted on the caissons, which can be ignored in the vertical force analysis.

In two-dimensional materials, black phosphorus has shown excellent performance as electrode materials for lithium- and sodium-ion batteries, due to its thermodynamic stability, layered anisotropic structure, and electrical conductivity. Recently, high capacity anodes based on black phosphorus as an active component for potassium-ion batteries (PIBs) have also been reported. However, in-depth studies are required to clarify the adsorption and difusion of K ions on black phosphorus and the K–P reaction mechanism. In this work, the surface adsorption, bulk difusion, and K–P binary phase formation were frstly investigated in detail using frst-principle calculations. We found that compared with Li and Na, K has the lowest difusion energy barrier in the bulk phase (0.182 eV for zigzag type and 2.013 eV for armchair type). Black phosphorus structure irreversibly collapses when the K ion concentration is up to 0.625, and no K3P phase is formed through the electrochemical profles obtained by calculation of the binary phase alloy structures. Furthermore, the maximum capacitance of black phosphorous for PIBs is calculated to be 864.8 mAh.g−1. This work will help in understanding the mechanism and further improving the performance of K-ion batteries.
DC-Link Voltage Balance Control in Three-phase Four-wire Active Power Filters
Yu Wang,Yuanpeng Guan,Yunxiang Xie,Xiang Liu 전력전자학회 2016 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.16 No.5
The three-phase four-wire shunt active power filter (APF) is an effective method to solve the harmonic problem in three-phase four-wire power systems. In addition, it has two possible topologies, a four-leg inverter and a three-leg inverter with a split-capacitor. There are some studies investigating DC-link voltage control in three-phase four-wire APFs. However, when compared to the four-leg inverter topology, maintaining the balance between the DC-link upper and lower capacitor voltages becomes a unique problem in the three-leg inverter with a split-capacitor topology, and previous studies seldom pay attention to this fact. In this paper, the influence of the balance between the two DC-link voltages on the compensation performance, and the influence of the voltage balance controller on the compensation performance, are analyzed. To achieve the balance between the two DC-link capacitor voltages, and to avoid the adverse effect the voltage balance controller has on the APF compensation performance, a new DC-link voltage balance control strategy for the three-phase four-wire split-capacitor APF is proposed. Representative simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the analysis and the proposed DC-link voltage balance control strategy.
