Background : About 30% of patients in the hospital are under nourishment. A large portion of people are undernourished when they are admitted to the hospital and in the majority of these, undernutrition develops further while in hospital. Patient-Generated subjective global assessment(PG-SGA), a method of nutritional assessment based on clinical judgment, has been widely used to assess the nutritional status of adults for both clinical and research purposes. Modified PG-SGA can be used as a nutrition screening tool, and a comprehensive nutrition assessment is desirable for those who are malnourished. The purpose of this study is to develop a simple, reliable and valid nutrition screening program(NSP). Methods : We applied the nutrition screening program(NSP) to adult inpatients who are at risk of malnutrition using the Modified Patient-Generated subjective global assessment(PG-SGA) and objective assessment(electrical medical record data). Results : Therefore simple and beneficial NSP is developed for patients with severe malnutrition. Using NSP. nutritional information of the severe malnutrition patient should be shared with the physicians and they should be taken care of by clinical dietitians to improve their nutritional status. Conclusion : The Modified PG-SGA and nutrition screening tool are simple, reliable and valid nutrition screening program(NSP).
제주도 주변해역에서 발생하는 해양사고의 유형과 원인에 관한 연구

1.380 marine incidents occurred in the adjacent sea of Jeju Island, between 1990 - 1999, these were analysed using data from the National Maritime Police Agency. The occurrence rate of marine incidents is fishing vessels about 93%, which of form is the engine troubles 61.6% of the whole and these are human factors resulting from careless operation and poor engine maintenance, this accounted for the main pattern of incidents and great number of them occurred with fishing vessels per a year average are about 138, that if higher than the another seas. On research about marine security kind of work present condition of fish vessel crew in Juju Island is that each long line and books occupy 42% the whole license of crew is that small vessel driver 60%, six degree 35% and most of marine incidents in the fishing vessel cause frequently the engine troubles, propeller troubles lack of ability of repair and crews almost posses the small license
용융침투법으로 제조한 알루미나-유리 복합체의 동적 피로 특성 평가

The fatigue characteristics of alumina-glass composites were evaluated by biaxial flexure test under the dynamic loading conditions. 88 specimens were tested by tested by testing 22 samples at each of four loading rates : 0.01, 0.1, 1, and mm/min. A Vickers-produced indentation crack was made at the center of the tensile surface with load of 49.0 N, and the microstructural aspects of crack propagation was investigated under statically loaded state in distilled water at 37℃. The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1. The fatigue parameter of alumina-glass composite containing 6 mol % yttria was n=22.2, σf0=319.6 MPa. 2. 10-year failure stress of alumina-glass composite containing 6 mol% yttria was 171.7 MPa. 3. Fracture surface of alumina-glass composite indicated the frictional interlocking of jogs having the tendency of toughening by crack deflection, rather than by crack bridging.

With environmental problems and pollutions accumulated by continuous urban development projects, it is becoming necessary to develop in consideration of environmental effects. On this study, it is suggested the critical point of biotope space factor and the supplement device. Natural ground area ratio is functioned as important factor in urban area. So in region, high-rated in natural ground area ratio, or in new urban development area, it is necessary to get supplement tool for conserving preferentially natural ground area. And it is considerable to ply individual environment planning indicator in case of need. This study has main contents as follows; biotope space factor was applied to actual case, rebuilding housing complex in Cham-sil to diagnosis ecological level and to lead more ecologically sound plan. After considering all the factors there was the critical point in using as just one tool, biotope space factor, so we suggested supplement device to solve this problem for an example, by regional characteristics, biotope space factor and individual environmental planning factor will be used together.

This study aimed to identify leaf sheath function through the investigation of effect of removal times and removed number of leaf sheath on growth and flowering in gladiolus. The leaf sheath influenced on the growth and flowering regardless of light condition at early growth stages. When total leaf sheath were removed in early growth stages, flower stalk length and spike length remarkably decreased. Whereas days of flowering were little different by leaf sheath removal. Also when removed numbers of leaf sheath were 1, 2 and 3, the growth and flowering were little different compared to control. But when removed numbers of leaf sheath were 4, flower stalk length decreased above 25㎝ compared to others treatment, spike length and number of flower decreased and stem diameter became thick abnormally.
토당귀 종자의 형태적 특성과 발아와 입모율에 대한 저장방법,생장조절제 및 프라이밍 처리 효과

This study was conducted to have basic and applied informations to establish the cultivation method and to improve the cultivation techniques of Angelica gigas Nakai through investigating the rates of germination and seedling establishment with treatment of plant growth regulator and seed priming. The germination rates of round shape seed were about 0.3~12% higher than those of parallel shape. The germination rates with different storage durations were increased at the level of 25oC and 4oC with the storage days, while they were clearly higher at -20oC compared to those at 4oC and 25oC without the storage durations. With the results of germination rates with treating of plant growth regulator and seed priming, their rates with the round shape seeds were comparatively higher about 6% than those with parallel shape seed and they were increased with increasing of the storage durations. The germination rates were generally appeared higher with GA3 than did those with seed priming. The highest germination rate was appeared at 50 ppm GA3 of plant growth regulator and at -0.5 MPa PEG6000 of seed priming. The germination rates?ㅤ ?ㅤ of Angelica gigas were different with different temperature, storage durations and the treatments of plant growth regulator and seed priming. These results could be used according to different cultivating conditions.
Enhanced ferromagnetic properties of diluted Fe doped ZnO with an Al co-doping

<P>Al-added Zn<SUB>0.99-x</SUB>Fe<SUB>x</SUB>Al<SUB>0.01</SUB>O (x = 0, 0.02, 0.05) powders were prepared with an annealing in an Ar atmosphere at 1200 °C. All the peaks from the X-ray diffraction patterns of the samples belonged to the hexagonal (P6<SUB>3</SUB>mc) lattice of ZnO, and no indication of a secondary phase was found. The lattice parameters for the Zn<SUB>0.94</SUB>Fe<SUB>0.05</SUB>Al<SUB>0.01</SUB>O were a<SUB>0</SUB> = 3.254 Å and c<SUB>0</SUB> = 5.209 Å at room temperature. The hysteresis curve for the Zn<SUB>0.94</SUB>Fe<SUB>0.05</SUB>Al<SUB>0.01</SUB>O at room temperature revealed a ferromagnetic phase. The temperature dependency of the magnetization curve was measured from 60 to 350 K and revealed that the Curie temperature was above room temperature.
