Patient counseling and medication teaching was conducted on compliance and orientation to drug therapy for 278 headache patients from Apr. 1993 to Jul. 1993 by co-work of doctors and pharmacists. Counseling was conducted with medication teaching manual and drug sample and then it was recorded to currently medication history, adverse effects and counseling contents. In analysis of counseling contents, headache incidence was higher in female than male (71.6% : 28.4%) and highest on the fifties. The percentage of headache types of tension HA, migraine, mixed type HA was 76.1%, 13.5%, 10.8% respectively. 160 patients(66.1%) had been conducted compliance well. Adverse effects were appeared in the form drowsiness, GI trouble, dry mouth, weight gain, constipation.
A 10-Gbps receiver bridge chip with deserializer for FPGA-based frame grabber supporting MIPI CSI-2

<P>A 2.5-Gbps/lane receiver bridge chip, which fully supports the protocol of the D-PHY version 1.2 for the mobile industry processor interface (MIPI) camera serial interface (CSI)-2, is proposed for a field-programmable gate array (FPGA)-based frame grabber. The proposed receiver bridge chip converts four-lane high-speed data of scalable low-voltage signaling (SLVS) of the MIPI CSI-2 into 32 low-speed data of low-voltage CMOS (LVCMOS) signaling for a parallel interface with a FPGA chip. In order to achieve this, each data lane of the proposed receiver bridge chip has a 1-to-8 deserializer including a byte synchronizer. Furthermore, an asynchronous delay line per lane compensates the time skew among the five lanes, including a clock lane. A common-gate level shifter (CGLS) with a continuous-time linear equalizer (CTLE) is proposed to improve the voltage gain and bandwidth of the high-speed receiver. The proposed receiver bridge chip is implemented using a 0.11-mu m CMOS process with a 1.2 V supply. The area and power consumption of the proposed receiver bridge chip are 5.29 mm(2) and 7.2 mW/Gbps/lane, respectively. The proposed CTLE of the high-speed receiver achieves the improved peak-to-peak time jitter of 0.3UI at a data rate of 3.0 Gbps/lane. The FPGA-based frame grabber processes the image or video data supplied by a camera sensor with the MIPI CSI-2 by using the proposed receiver bridge chip.</P>

The interaction between fermentation-respiration switch (FrsA) protein and glucose-specific enzyme IIA<SUP>Glc</SUP> increases glucose fermentation under oxygen-limited conditions. We show that FrsA converts pyruvate to acetaldehyde and carbon dioxide in a cofactor-independent manner and that its pyruvate decarboxylation activity is enhanced by the dephosphorylated form of IIA<SUP>Glc</SUP> (d-IIA<SUP>Glc</SUP>). Crystal structures of FrsA and its complex with d-IIA<SUP>Glc</SUP> revealed residues required for catalysis as well as the structural basis for the activation by d-IIA<SUP>Glc</SUP>.

For conducting the comparative analysis of the eubacterial community structure including nitrifying bacteria at 8 sampling sites throughout the N마-Dong River, FISH(fluorescence in situ hybridization) method was employed. The total ratio of each determined eubacterial group such as α·β·γ-subclasses protebacteria and Cytophaga-Flavobacterium(CF) group to total counts stained by DAPI at each site varied 9.3∼42.5% with the highest value at uppermost part. And each ratio of determined eubacterial groups reached mostly under 10% except those of CF group(23%) at uppermost part. Futhermore, compared to lower part, upper part represented higher proportions of γ-subclass proteobacteria comprised in most of fast growing bacteria on degradable organics. Also the variations of ammonia-oxidizing bacteria ranged from 2.7×10⁴to 18.3×10⁴ cells/㎖ with the lowest value in lower part and the highest value in mid part whereas those of nitrite-oxidizing bacteria varied 5.2∼7.7×10⁴cell/㎖ without noticeable differences throughout the sites. Additionally, the ratio of nitrifying bacteria to total counts ranged from 1.3% to 13.6?%, regardless of those of ammonia/nitrite-oxidizing bacteria. Overall, it implies that the upper part of Nak-Dong River represented comparatively better degradabilities of organic materials than their Lower part except at one site in upper part passed An-Dong City. By the contrast, the other part of Nak-Dong River, especially after merging the Gum-Ho River revealed lower detectability of FISH resulted from their cellular activity. So it could be said that the lower part of Nak-Dong River might be a ecosystem of which physico-chemical environment may have inhibited the activities of bacteria functioned as decomposer of organic matter.
