        미혼인구의 이성교제와 결혼의향에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 분석

        본 연구는 미혼인 남녀를 대상으로 이성교제와 결혼의향에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보고자 하였다. 결혼은 배우자를 선택하는 과정을 거치는 특성과 이행 이전에 의향을 가지고 행동으로 이어지는 특성을 가진다. 이 연구는 이러한 결혼의 특성과 함께 최근 결혼 뿐 아니라 연애까지 포기하는 현상을 바탕으로 미혼인구의 가족 형성과 관련된 특성을 파악하기 위해 이성교제와 결혼의향에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 이성교제 확률과 결혼의향에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 경제적인 요인이었다. 선행연구에서는 이성교제가 주로 남성의 경제적 요인에 의해 영향을 받는다는 것이 강조되었는데, 본 연구의 이성교제확률 분석 결과에서는 경제 활동 여부와 소득과 같은 경제적 요인이 남녀 모두에게 중요한 변수로 나타났다. 즉, 이성교제에 영향을 미치는 경제적 요인이 남성 뿐 아니라 여성에게도 중요한 것으로 변화하고 있다는 것을 의미한다. 또한, 이성교제를 배우자 선택의 과정으로 이해하고 나아가 결혼에도 영향을 미치는 중요한 과정으로 본다면 앞으로 결혼의 기제도 변화해 갈 것으로 생각해 볼 수 있다. 결혼의향 분석 결과에서는 여전히 남성의 경제적인 요인의 역할이 중요하게 나타났으나, 이성교제 분석 결과와 연계해보면 앞으로는 결혼에 있어서도 여성의 경제적 요인의 역할 또한 중요하게 나타날 개연성이 있다고 볼 수도 있다. 그리고 결혼할 상대에게 기대하는 희망 소득을 결혼 상대에 대한 기대의 간접 지표로 활용하여 분석한 결과, 이러한 기대가 높을수록 결혼의향은 낮은 것을 발견하였다. The purpose of this study is to identify factors influencing dating and marriage intention among unmarried people. In general, marriage goes through the process of choosing a spouse, and marriage intention precedes the transition to marriage. Based on these characteristics of marriage and the phenomenon of giving up not only marriage but also dating among young population, this study analyzed factors affecting dating and marriage intention in order to understand the characteristics of family formation among the unmarried people. Findings show that the most influencing factors of the probability of dating and marriage intention were economic factors. In previous studies, it was emphasized that dating was mainly influenced by the economic factors of males. In this study, however, economic factors were very influential factors on probability of dating for both females and males. It shows that economic factors that affect dating are becoming important not only for men but also for women. In addition, if dating is viewed as a process of choosing a spouse and as an important process that affects marriage, we might think that the mechanism of marriage will change. In the results of the analysis of marriage intention, the role of the economic factors of men is still important, but in connection with the analysis of dating, there is a chance that the roles of economic factors among females will also appear important in marriage in the future. Furthermore, in a result of analyzing the hoped income expected from the future marriage partner as an indirect indicator of the expectation on him/her, it was found that the higher the expectation, the lower the intention to marry.

      • Tricomponent Multiblock Nanorods for Fourier Transform Surface Plasmon Resonance and Its Chemical Sensing

        <P>In this study, we report a new mode of chemical sensing using Fourier transform surface plasmon resonance with tricomponent nanorods (Au, Ni, and Pt). By applying an external magnetic field, magnetically responsive multiblock nanorods fluctuate periodically, producing sigmoidal optical responses that are represented as a dominant frequency peak after Fourier transform conversion. Adding H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB> to the solution under an external magnetic field perturbed the periodic nanorod rotation due to a catalytic reaction between the Pt segment and H<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>2</SUB>, which produces catalytic random fluctuation states. The target chemicals were detected by measuring the frequency domain recovery time between two competing states, the magnetic dominant state and the catalytic random state. These two states can be controlled and maximized by nanorod block design, demonstrating the effectiveness of our chemical sensing design using Fourier transform surface plasmon resonance.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

        Prediction of water level in a tidal river using a deep-learning based LSTM model

        본 연구는 물리적 수리·수문모형의 적용이 제한적인 감조하천에서의 수위예측을 목적으로 하고 있으며, 이를 위해 한강 잠수교를 대상으로 딥러닝 오픈소스 소프트웨어 라이브러리인 TensorFlow를 활용하여 LSTM 모형을 구성하고 2011년부터 2017년까지의 10분 단위의 잠수교 수위, 팔당 댐 방류량과 한강하구 강화대교지점의 예측조위 자료를 이용하여 모형학습(2011~2016) 및 수위예측(2017)을 수행하였다. 모형 매개변수는 민감도 분석을 통해 은닉층의 개수는 6개, 학습속도는 0.01, 학습횟수는 3000번로 결정하였으며, 모형 학습 시 학습정보의 시간적 양을 결정하는 중요한 매개변수인 시퀀스길이는 1시간, 3시간, 6시간으로 변화시키며 모의하였다. 최종적으로 선행시간에 따른 모의 예측능력을 평가하기 위해 LSTM 모형의 예측 선행시간을 6개(1 ~ 24시간)로 구분하여 실측수위와 예측수위와의 비교·분석을 수행한 결과, LSTM 모형의 최적의 성능을 내 는 결과는 시퀀스길이를 1시간으로 하였을 때로 분석되었으며, 특히 선행시간 1시간에 대한 예측정확도는 RMSE는 0.065 m, NSE는 0.99로 실 측수위에 매우 근접한 예측 결과를 나타내었다. 또한 시퀀스길이에 상관없이 선행시간이 길어질수록 모형의 예측 정확도는 2017년 전기간에 걸쳐 평균적으로 RMSE 0.08 m에서 0.28 m로 오차가 증가하였으며, NSE는 0.99에서 0.74로 감소하였다. Discharge or water level predictions at tidally affected river reaches are currently still a great challenge in hydrological practices. This research aims to predict water level of the tide dominated site, Jamsu bridge in the Han River downstream. Physics-based hydrodynamic approaches are sometimes not applicable for water level prediction in such a tidal river due to uncertainty sources like rainfall forecasting data. In this study, TensorFlow deep learning framework was used to build a deep neural network based LSTM model and its applications. The LSTM model was trained based on 3 data sets having 10-min temporal resolution: Paldang dam release, Jamsu bridge water level, predicted tidal level for 6 years (2011~2016) and then predict the water level time series given the six lead times: 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, 24 hours. The optimal hyper-parameters of LSTM model were set up as follows: 6 hidden layers number, 0.01 learning rate, 3000 iterations. In addition, we changed the key parameter of LSTM model, sequence length, ranging from 1 to 6 hours to test its affect to prediction results. The LSTM model with the 1 hr sequence length led to the best performing prediction results for the all cases. In particular, it resulted in very accurate prediction: RMSE (0.065 cm) and NSE (0.99) for the 1 hr lead time prediction case. However, as the lead time became longer, the RMSE increased from 0.08 m (1 hr lead time) to 0.28 m (24 hrs lead time) and the NSE decreased from 0.99 (1 hr lead time) to 0.74 (24 hrs lead time), respectively.

      • Low Voltage Modulation Method in Six-step Operation of Three Phase Inverter

        This paper proposes the asymmetric six-step operation which can adjust the level of the phase voltage in three phase voltage source inverter. In high power systems, the switching frequency of the power switch is limited to a few hundred hertz. So, the conventional symmetric six-step operation is commonly used because of the maximized modulation index and the minimized number of switching. However, the modulation index cannot be adjusted in the fixed dc link voltage system. By modifying the duration of the turn on time asymmetrically, the modulation index can be changed even in the minimum number of switching. The modulation index is expressed as the function of the turn on time. Also, the harmonic components of the modulated phase voltage are calculated from the Fourier analysis. The proposed modulation is implemented at the induction machine drive and it can reduce the rms currents in the low torque conditions.

      • Carbon monoxide-induced cardiomyopathy.

        <P>Background: Previous reports demonstrated mechanisms of cardiac toxicity in acute carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. Still, none established CO-induced cardiomyopathy (CMP) as a clinical entity. The aim of this study is to investigate CO-induced CMP in patients with acute CO poisoning in terms of its epidemiology, clinical characteristics, and prognosis. Methods and Results: A retrospective study was conducted on consecutive patients who were diagnosed with acute CO poisoning at the emergency department of Ajou University Hospital during the period of 62 month. Six hundred and twenty-six patients were diagnosed with acute CO poisoning. During the initial echocardiography, 19 patients were abnormal: (1) global hypokinesia/akinesia (n=7), (2) regional wall hypokinesia/akinesia [n=12; takotsubo type (n=6), reverse takotsubo type (n=2), non-specific type (n=4)]. The ejection fraction (EF) was 36.3 +/- 13.5% (from 15% to 55%) and less than 45% for 14 patients. In the follow-up echocardiography performed within 12 days after the initial performance, most patients were found to have cardiac wall motion abnormalities, and their EF had returned to normal (ie, EF >= 50%). Conclusions: CO-induced CMP was identified in 3.04% (n=19) of all patients (n=626). It might not be too critical in acute clinical courses of acute CO poisoning because the prognosis seems favorable. Considering the common factors between CO-induced CMP and takotsubo CMP, myocardial stunning subject to a catecholamine surge most likely plays a central role in the development of CO-induced CMP.</P>

        Consideration of the Carrier Based Signal Injection Method in Three Shunt Sensing Inverters for Sensorless Motor Control

        This paper considers a carrier based signal injection method for use in the three shunt sensing inverter (TSSI) for sensorless motor control. It also analyzes the loss according to the injection axis of the voltage signal. To remove both the phase current and rotor position sensors, a sensorless method and a phase current reconstruction method can be simultaneously considered. However, an interaction between the two methods can be incurred when both methods inject voltage signals simultaneously. In this paper, a signal injection based sensorless method with the 120° OFF Discontinuous PWM (DPWM) is implemented in a TSSI to avoid this interaction problem. Since one leg does not have a switching event for one sampling period in the 120° OFF DPWM, the switching loss is altered according to the injection axis. The switching loss in the d-axis injection case can be up to 32% larger than that in the q-axis injection case. Other losses according to the injection axis are also analyzed.

        기존의 비디오 편집 시스템에서 비디오 편집시 샷ID가 기본적인 단위인 것에 비해 본 논문에서는 샷에 포함되어 있는 객체 정보를 이용한 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 비디오 편집 시스템은 기존의 물리적 · 논리적 정보를 포함하며 추가적으로 샷에 있는 객체 정보를 이용하였다. 샷단위의 비디오 스트림 편집에서 객체를 중심으로한 비디오 편집을 함으로 좀더 다양하게 비디오 검색 및 편집 등의 여러 비디오 응용 분야에 효과적으로 적용할 수 있다.
