      • CdS-polyphosphate system을 이용한 태양에너지의 화학적 저장

        Various artificial photolysis systems such as vesicle-stabilized or suspended semiconductor particle systems have been developed by previous workers. The use of inorganic semiconductor powders is certainly attractive in view of the active high-surface area in the photoprocess and the simplicity of the system. Yet, low efficiencies due to light reflection, recombination of photogenerated electron-hole pairs are serious disadvantages. And so various methods for the preparation of semiconductor particles were developed in recent years. These include stabilization of colloidal particle aggregates by polymers and vesicles. In this paper, CdS-polyphosphate system, stabilized system of colloidal particle aggregates by polymer(polyphosphate), is used to produce hydrogen by photolysis of water.

      • 장기간 스노우보드 운동이 골밀도 및 골대사에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the BMD and BMM for L spin AP, Femoral-neck and seurm Ca, seurm P after 12 weeks snowboard exercise. The total sample was 7 students of university male, consisted of 7 students for inexperienced snowboard group. The results were as follows : 1. Each time BMD for L spine AP was’t shown to significantly but decrease after 6 weeks exercise more then pre-exercise and after 12 weeks exercise more then 6 weeks 2. Each time BMB for Femoral-neck was’t shown to significantly but decrease after 6 weeks exercise more then pre-exercise, some increase after 12 weeks exercise more then 6 weeks exercise. 3. Each time BMD for seurm Ca was’t shown to significantly but decrease after 6 weeks exercise more then pre-exercise, some increase after 12 weeks exercise more then 6 weeks exercise. 4. Each time BMD for seurm P was’t shown to significantly but decrease after 6 weeks exercise more then pre-exercise, some increase after 12 weeks exercise more then 6 weeks exercise. From this study, 12 weeks snowboard exercise was shown to effect about BMD and BMM for L spine AP, Femoral-neck and seum Ca, seurm P in 7 students of university male for inexperienced snowboard but was’t shown to significantly

      • 방광이행상피세포암에서 p53유전자의 변화

        The objective of this study was to characterise the pattern of p53 mutations in bladder turmor. In this study, 25 bladder transitional cell carcinomas were analyed by immunohistochemistry (IHC) for p53 nuclear overexpression, and the results were compared with those of polymerase chain reaction-single strand conformational polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) analysis in exon 5-8 of the p53 gene and DNA sequencing analysis. 15 out of 20 cases (75%) showed p53 nuclear immunoreactivities on IHC. On PCR-SSCP analysis, 10 out of 25 cases(40%) had abnormal shifts on mobility. 62% of the mutations were in exon 8. Direct DNA sequencing analysis were performed in these 10 cases to confirm the presence of mutated p53 genes and to determine the type of mutations. Sixteen point mutations were detected in 10 cases. Tow specimens had double mutations and another two had triple mutations. G:C→A:T transitions were the most frequent patterns (62.5%). One mutation was a premature stop codon and two were silent mutations. There out of 10 had a point mutation at codon 285 (GAG/Glu→AAG/Lys) and two had at codon 280(GAG/Glu→AAG/Lys). One of 16 mutations was transition at hot spot codon 273 with CpG site. These results suggest that altered expressions and point mutations of p53 occured in all grade of bladder cancer, but are more associated with hight grade bladder tumors. To elucidate the carcinogenesis of bladder cancer, further studies should be carried out.

      • 액정유체의 압력 유도 흐름에서의 분자 배향과 속도 분포

        본 연구에서는 액정의 압력 유도 흐름에 대해 적응성 토크 균형식과 코시 운동량보존식을 액정 연속체 이론의 핵심이 되는 Leslie-Ericksen 이론에 적용하여 수치해석 방법들로 풀어내었다.비선형 편미분 방정식계의 해를 구할 때 경계조건으로 쓰인 분자 배향닻 조건은 평행 닻조건(parallel anchoring)과 직교 닻조건(homeotropic anchoring)이다.분자 배향 분포는 평행 닻조건에서나 직교 닻조건에서나 시간이 지남에 따라 간단한 전단 흐름에서와 같이 3차원 비평판 배향의 구조를 갖게되지만 배향 비틀림의 구조가 다름을 알 수 있었다.배향 비틀링의 3차원적 구조를 갖게됨에 따라 압력 구배가 걸리는 흐름방향의 주 속도 분포뿐만 아니라 직교되는 방향으로 부 속도분포가 생기며 정상상태로 발전해가는 속도 분포 진화는 점근적이 아닌 진동적이다.비정상상태에서나 정상상태에서 속도 분포는 비 뉴톤성임을 알 수 있다.비등방성 Miesowicz 점도 순열에 따른 평행 닻조건에서의 더 많은 흐름량을 볼수 있고 직교 닻조건에서는 벽면에서 보이는 작은 속도 구배량의 특징을 가진다.

      • 'PRO/II with PROVISION' 범용성 화학공정 모사기를 이용한 원유정제공정의 모사에 관한 연구

        Crude refinery unit is the first step in refining crude oil.Crude refinery unit is divided into the following two parts.The first par is atmospheric crude distillation column and crude preheating train.Because of the massive furnace duty to heat crude oil for distillation most units have an elaborate preheat train, in which the crude oil is preheated by back exchange with hot pumparound liquids from the unit.The other part is composed of the vacuum distillation unit.In this study, a step-by-step procedure for simulating an atmospheric crude distillation column by using PRO/II with PROVISION as a general purpose chemical process simulator is introduced.

        Selective hydrogenation of 1,3-butadiene in C4 raffinate was carried out in fixed bed reactor using Pd/a1unina catalysts, Concentration of 1,3-butadiene in C4 raffinate could be reduced under 100 ppm.The life of dimerization catalyst using C4 raffinate after selective hydrogenation was longer than that of dimerization catalyst without selective hydrogenation.It was found that dilution of olefin concentration in feed was effective to increase dimerization catalyst life.

      • SYNTHESIS OF TERCYCLOPENTADIENYL DIMETALLIC COMPOUNDS

        We synthesized tercyclopentadienyl dimetallic compounds which could be precursors of tercyclopentadienyl diheterotrimetallic complexes. The synthesis starts with taking dicyclopentadiene and sodium in ethylene glycol dimethyl ether(DME) to make cyclopentadienyl sodium-DME complex. Subsequent reaction of this complex with iodine and butyllithium furnished fulvalene dianion. The reaction of fulvalene(Fv) dianion and 3-chloro-2-cyclopentenone produces tercyclopentadienyl compounds. This mixture upon treatment with Ru3(CO)12 in DME gave tercyclopentadienyl dimetallic compounds.

      • Exploration of aging and cancer-dependent genes based on analysis of TCGA RNA-Seq dataset

        Aging is a biological phenomenon which is associated with promotion of cancer onset and progression. Therefore, we planned to search for molecular markers that could predict aging and cancer onset using The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), biological database. The RNA-Seq data downloaded from TCGA were categorized according to the sample types, age, and stages of cancer. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) among the categorized groups were calculated by EBSeq, a program for calculating DEGs. Moreover, calculated DEGs were divided into stages of cancer and were organized by Venn diagram. We obtained 22 genes from intersections between aging and cancer group of the Venn diagrams and their expression levels were confirmed by RT-qPCR. As a result, pro-inflammatory genes, CCL19, CXCL6 and IL36B, and metabolic genes, APOA2 and UGT2A1, were differentially expressed in the aged kidneys, which shows that they were involved in both aging and cancer. In conclusion, our study demonstrates that pro-inflammatory and metabolic genes could be candidate genes to predict aging and cancer in aged kidneys.

      • SYNTHESIS OF TERCYCLOPENTADIENYL DIHETEROTRIMETALLIC COMPLEX

        We synthesized Tercyclopentadienyl Diheterotrimetallic complex of which thermodynamic and kinetic stability would provide a good opportunity for studying metal-metal interactions. Compound 13 was added DIBAL-H in toluene to give 14. Compound 14 was transferred to a warned solution of p-TsOH·H₂O in benzene. The mixture was neutralized with aqueous NaHCO₃, dried over potassium carbonate and filtered through a plug of silica gel to produce 15. To the solution of 15 in THF maintained at 0℃ was added [(CH₃)₃Si]₂NaN and warmed up to room temperature. The solution was transferred into flask containing [????]? at -78℃ and the mixture was allowed to stir for 2hr at room temperature. Running column chromatography gave us compound 16 as yellow crystals.

        에탄올-n-헵탄 공비 혼합물의 분리를 위한 압력변환 증류공정 연구

        본 연구에서는 에탄올-n-헵탄 이성분계 공비 혼합물의 분리를 위해 압력변환 증류공정(pressure-swing distillation, PSD)을 사용하여 전산모사 및 공정 최적화를 진행하였다. 저압-고압 컬럼 배열과 고압-저압 컬럼 배열을 통해 고순도 에탄올과 고순도 n-헵탄을 얻기 위한 압력변환 증류공정을 수행하였다. 전산모사 결과, 저압-고압 컬럼 배열 공정보다 고압-저압 컬럼 배열 공정을 사용할 경우 heat duty 값이 약 5.8% 정도 감소되어 에너지 소모량 면에서 더 경제적임을 확인할 수 있었다. In the present study, modelling and optimization of ethanol-n-heptane separation process were performed using pressure-swing distillation. The pressure-swing distillation process optimization was performed to obtain high purity ethanol and high purity n-heptane into a low-high pressure columns configuration and a high-low pressure columns configuration. The results of pressure-swing distillation process simulation and optimization using high-low pressure column configuration showed a reduced total reboiler heat duty at 5.8% which confirmed a more economical energy consumption.
