Synchronous Periodic Frequency Modulation Based on Interleaving Technique to Reduce PWM Vibration Noise

        Wentao Zhang,Yongxiang Xu,Jingwei Ren,Jianyong Su,Jibin Zou 전력전자학회 2019 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.19 No.6

Ear-piercing high-frequency noise from electromagnetic vibrations in motors has become unacceptable in sensitive environments, due to the application of pulse width modulation (PWM) and in consideration of switching losses. This paper proposed a synchronous periodic frequency modulation (SPFM) method based on the interleaving technique for paralleled three-phase voltage source inverters (VSIs) to eliminate PWM vibration noise. The proposed SPFM technique is able to effectively remove unpleasant high-frequency vibration noise as well as acoustic noise more effectively than the conventional periodic carrier frequency modulation (PCFM) and interleaving technique. It completely eliminates the vibration noise near odd-order carrier frequencies and reduces the PWM vibration noise near even-order carrier frequencies depending on the switching frequency variation range. Furthermore, the SPFM method is simple to implement and does not employ additional circuits in the drive system. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method has been confirmed by detailed experimental results.

Ectopic Over-expression of Oncogene Pim-2 Induce Malignant Transformation of Nontumorous Human Liver Cell Line L02

        Ke Ren,Wentao Duan,Yujun Shi,Bo Li,Zuojin Liu,Jiangping Gong 대한의학회 2010 Journal of Korean medical science Vol.25 No.7

In order to prove that ectopic over-expression of Pim-2 could induce malignant transformation of human liver cell line L02, three groups of cells were set up including human liver cell line L02 (L02), L02 cells transfected with Pim-2 gene (L02/Pim-2) and L02cells transfected with empty-vector (L02/Vector). Pim-2 expression levels were detected. The morphology, proliferation level, apoptosis rate and migration ability of the cells were detected respectively. Then the cells were subcutaneously inoculated into athymic mice and the microstructures of the neoplasm were observed. Compared with the controls, Pim-2expression levels were significantly higher in L02/Pim-2 cells (P<0.05), and their morphology had obvious malignant changes. They also showed a significantly increased proliferation rate (P<0.05) and migration capacity (P<0.05), as well as a significantly decreased apoptosis rate (P<0.05). Only the athymic mice inoculated with L02/Pim-2 cells could generate neoplasm, and the morphology of the neoplasm coincided with that of the hepatoma. The results manifest that ectopic Pim-2 gene could be stably expressed in L02/Pim-2 cells. Both the morphological and biological changes of L02/Pim-2 cells demonstrate the trend of malignant transformation. L02/Pim-2 cells could generate hepatoma in athymic mice. In conclusion, Pim-2 could induce malignant transformation of human liver cell line L02.

Phylogenetic and expression analysis of the angiopoietin-like gene family and their role in lipid metabolism in pigs

        Zibin Zheng,Wentao Lyu,Qihua Hong,Hua Yang,Ying Li,Shengjun Zhao,Ying Ren,Yingping Xiao Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2023 Animal Bioscience Vol.36 No.10

Objective: The objective of this study was to investigate the phylogenetic and expression analysis of the angiopoietin-like (ANGPTL) gene family and their role in lipid metabolism in pigs. Methods: In this study, the amino acid sequence analysis, phylogenetic analysis, and chromosome adjacent gene analysis were performed to identify the ANGPTL gene family in pigs. According to the body weight data from 60 Jinhua pigs, different tissues of 6 pigs with average body weight were used to determine the expression profile of ANGPTL1-8. The ileum, subcutaneous fat, and liver of 8 pigs with distinct fatness were selected to analyze the gene expression of ANGPTL3, ANGPTL4, and ANGPTL8. Results: The sequence length of ANGPTLs in pigs was between 1,186 and 1,991 bp, and the pig ANGPTL family members shared common features with human homologous genes, including the high similarity of the amino acid sequence and chromosome flanking genes. Amino acid sequence analysis showed that ANGPTL1-7 had a highly conserved domain except for ANGPTL8. Phylogenetic analysis showed that each ANGPTL homologous gene shared a common origin. Quantitative reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction analysis showed that ANGPTL family members had different expression patterns in different tissues. ANGPTL3 and ANGPTL8 were mainly expressed in the liver, while ANGPTL4 was expressed in many other tissues, such as the intestine and subcutaneous fat. The expression levels of ANGPTL3 in the liver and ANGPTL4 in the liver, intestine and subcutaneous fat of Jinhua pigs with low propensity for adipogenesis were significantly higher than those of high propensity for adipogenesis. Conclusion: These results increase our knowledge about the biological role of the ANGPTL family in this important economic species, it will also help to better understand the role of ANGPTL3, ANGPTL4, and ANGPTL8 in lipid metabolism of pigs, and provide innovative ideas for developing strategies to improve meat quality of pigs.

Development and Application of Three-Dimensional Bioprinting Scaffold in the Repair of Spinal Cord Injury

        Lu Dezhi,Yang Yang,Zhang Pingping,Ma Zhenjiang,Li Wentao,Song Yan,Feng Haiyang,Yu Wenqiang,Ren Fuchao,Li Tao,Zeng Hong,Wang Jinwu 한국조직공학과 재생의학회 2022 조직공학과 재생의학 Vol.19 No.6

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a disabling and destructive central nervous system injury that has not yet been successfully treated at this stage. Three-dimensional (3D) bioprinting has become a promising method to produce more biologically complex microstructures, which fabricate living neural constructs with anatomically accurate complex geometries and spatial distributions of neural stem cells, and this is critical in the treatment of SCI. With the development of 3D printing technology and the deepening of research, neural tissue engineering research using different printing methods, bio-inks, and cells to repair SCI has achieved certain results. Although satisfactory results have not yet been achieved, they have provided novel ideas for the clinical treatment of SCI. Considering the potential impact of 3D bioprinting technology on neural studies, this review focuses on 3D bioprinting methods widely used in SCI neural tissue engineering, and the latest technological applications of bioprinting of nerve tissues for the repair of SCI are discussed. In addition to introducing the recent progress, this work also describes the existing limitations and highlights emerging possibilities and future prospects in this field.
