Recently, applications using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have dominated remote sensing research. For intelligent urban planning deasion-making, computer vision algorithms have been developed to extract urban features. It has been shown that they outperform traditional techniques. However, limited assessment of the literature has been undertaken that incorporates both the computer vision and UAV remote sensing themes in urban assessment and management (UA&M). This article provides an in-depth examination of computer vision and UAV integration in UA&M to minimize the issues associated with current city planning.

The purpose of this study is to present how Total Operation Center (TOC) of Saemangeum National Renewable Energy Testbed Laboratory building has been designed by adopting integrative design process (IDP) that was used in the Energy Systems Integration Laboratory (ESIF) of US Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Due to the current regulations of Korea, the TOC had to take unconventional design process with the lessons learned from the ESIF project. This paper highlights what the process was, how the schematic design concluded based on the study on the ESIF.
Characterization of Ag-Doped p-Type SnO Thin Films Prepared by DC Magnetron Sputtering

<P>Crystalline structure and optoelectrical properties of silver-doped tin monoxide thin films with different dopant concentrations prepared by DC magnetron sputtering are investigated. The X-ray diffraction patterns reveal that the tetragonal SnO phase exhibits preferred orientations along (101) and (110) planes. Our results indicate that replacing Sn<SUP>2+</SUP> in the SnO lattice with Ag<SUP>+</SUP> ions produces smaller-sized crystallites, which may lead to enhanced carrier scattering at grain boundaries. This causes a deterioration in the carrier mobility, even though the carrier concentration improves by two orders of magnitude due to doping. In addition, the Ag-doped SnO thin films show a p-type semiconductor behavior, with a direct optical gap and decreasing transmittance with increasing Ag dopant concentration.</P>
The Impact of Organizational Commitment on Employee Motivation: A Study in Vietnamese Enterprises

The study examines direct and indirect impacts of organizational commitment on employee motivation through two mediating factors - opportunistic behavior and knowledge sharing - in Vietnamese enterprises. The samples were selected by the non-probability sampling method followed convenient sampling, relatively stratified by localities in Vietnam. The sample size was 636 employees in Vietnamese enterprises. The number of collected online questionnaires was 379, while the number of valid questionnaires was 329. In the direct survey, the number of distributed questionnaires was 750, while the number of collected questionnaires was 421 and the number of valid questionnaires was 307. The total number of valid questionnaires used for analysis was 636. The study used quantitative methods with structural equation modeling analysis. The results indicate that among the components of organizational commitment, normative commitment has both direct and indirect impacts on employee motivation through two mediating factors: opportunistic behavior and knowledge sharing. Meanwhile, affective commitment has only an indirect impact on employee motivation through these mediating factors. Continuance commitment has both direct and indirect impacts; however, it has only an indirect impact on employee motivation through opportunistic behavior. In addition, the results show opportunistic behavior has a negative impact on the knowledge sharing of employees in enterprises.
On functional equations of the Fermat-Waring type for non-Archimedean vectorial entire functions

We show a class of homogeneous polynomials of Fermat-Waring type such that for a polynomial $P$ of this class, if $P( f_1, \ldots ,f_{N+1})$ $ = P( g_1, \ldots ,g_{N+1})$, where $f_1, \ldots ,f_{N+1};$ $g_1, \ldots ,g_{N+1}$ are two families of linearly independent entire functions, then $f_i = cg_i, \ i=1, 2, \ldots , N+1,$ where $c$ is a root of unity. As a consequence, we prove that if $X$ is a hypersurface defined by a homogeneous polynomial in this class, then $X$ is a unique range set for linearly non-degenerate non-Archimedean holomorphic curves.
