α-위치만 선택적으로 difluoromethylene기가 도입된 α.α-difluoro-γ-trimethylsilyl-γ-lactam 유도체(6)들은 ethyl α.α-difluoro-γ-trimethylsilyl-γ-iodopentanoate(4)는 일차아민 유도체와의 반응으로부터 비교적 편리한 작용조건과 비교적 좋은 수득률로 합성하였다. The target of α.α-difluoro-γ-trimethylsilyl-γ-lactam derivatives(6) with selectively in corporated difluoromethylene on α-position were readily prepared form reaction ethyl α.α-difluoro-γ-trimethylsilyl-γ-iodopentanoate(4) and primary derivatives in moderate yields.

<P>This paper deals with the post-assembly magnetization process of motors using ferrite permanent magnets ( PMs). In order to meet the needs of mass production, most motors are magnetized post assembly. However, increasing complex shapes are required to maximize the flux of PMs. As a result, certain locations in the magnet are not fully magnetized by the magnetizing fixture due to insufficient magnetomotive force. Therefore, an analysis concerning the post-assembly magnetization is needed. In this paper, the concentrated flux spoke-type synchronous motor is analyzed with regard to the magnetization process. Owing to more flux, this motor is designed as a V-shape PM. Therefore, it is not fully magnetized according to magnet shape. By identifying the effect of the magnet shape, the magnetization level is compared by the amount of flux linkage between post assembly and at full magnetization. Finally, the back electromotive force is estimated by the post-assembly magnetization method according to the magnet shape.</P>

Persicaside has been isolated as a new alkaloid natural compound from a methanol (EtOA)-soluble extract of Prunus persica seed. It was purified by a combination of chromatographic techniques and recrystallization. The structure of Persicaside was determined by extensive NMR experiments and mass ppectroscopic data. It inhibited nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) production via suppression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2 expression in rat osteoblast sarcoma cells (ROS 17/2.8) in concentration-dependent manner whereas it spares the COX-1 enzyme activity.
The prevalence of primary hyperparathyroidism in Korea

Purpose: Because primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) is difficult to recognize, it has a high likelihood of being underdiagnosed. In this study, we estimated the incidence of PHPT and evaluated PHPT diagnosis in Korea. Methods: To calculate the prevalence of PHPT, we examined the medical records of patients that were hospitalized for urolithiasis between 2013 and 2016 at a single institute, and then identified those who were diagnosed with PHPT from the same group. A Korea-wide insurance claim database was used to ascertain the number of urolithiasis patients and the number of parathyroidectomies performed in Korea. The incidence of PHPT in the Korean population was estimated using the ratio of patients who presented with urolithiasis as the initial symptom of PHPT. Results: During the 4-year study period, 4 patients from the 925 urolithiasis patients enrolled in this study (0.4%) were diagnosed with PHPT. During this same period, there were 85,267 patients with urolithiasis in Korea, and the estimated number of PHPT patients was 341, which was 0.4% of 85,267. Considering that 12% to 23% of patients with PHPT are initially diagnosed with urolithiasis, the total number of PHPT patients was estimated to range from 1,483 to 2,842. The number of patients who underwent parathyroidectomy due to PHPT was 1,935 during the study period. Conclusion: The number of patients we estimated to have PHPT corresponded closely with the number of patients undergoing parathyroidectomy during the study period. Considering the number of nonsymptomatic PHPT patients, PHPT may be properly diagnosed in Korea.
Gliotoxin에 의해 유발된 아폽토시스에 대한 Protein Kinase C (PKC) 전처리의 영향

Gliotoxin은 Penicillium, Aspergillus, Gliocladium 및 Thermoascus와 같은 곰팡이들로부터 생성되는 대사산물중 하나로, 공통적으로 epipolythiodioxopiperazine (ETP)계 구조를 가지고 있다. 이 ETP계 구조에 의해 질병이나 면역조정기능과 같은 다양한 생리적 효과를 나타낸다. 심근세포인 H9c2세포에 gliotoxin을 처리한 결과 caspase-3의 활성에 의해 DNA fragmentation 을 유발시켜 세포의 손상을 유도하였다 Phorboll2-myristate 13-acetate(PMA)를 시간별로 처리한 경과, gliotoxin을 처리하기 전에 PMA를 15분전에 처리한 경우에는 caspase-3의 활성을 억제시켜 세포의 손상을 억제시켰으나, PMA를 gliotoxin과 동시에 처리하거나 후처리한 경우에서는 세포의 손상을 억제시키지 못했다. 따라서 ,PMA 천처리에 의해서 protein kinase C (PKC)가 활성화되며, 이 활성화된 PKC가 caspas-3의 활성을 차단하므로서, 아폽토시스를 억제한다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
