Low-temperature synthesis of LiFePO <sub>4 </sub> nanocrystals by solvothermal route

<P>LiFePO<SUB>4 </SUB>nanocrystals were synthesized at a very low temperature of 170°C using carbon nanoparticles by a solvothermal process in a polyol medium, namely diethylene glycol without any heat treatment as a post procedure. The powder X-ray diffraction pattern of the LiFePO<SUB>4 </SUB>was indexed well to a pure orthorhombic system of olivine structure (space group: Pnma) with no undesirable impurities. The LiFePO<SUB>4 </SUB>nanocrystals synthesized at low temperature exhibited mono-dispersed and carbon-mixed plate-type LiFePO<SUB>4 </SUB>nanoparticles with average length, width, and thickness of approximately 100 to 300 nm, 100 to 200 nm, and 50 nm, respectively. It also appeared to reveal considerably enhanced electrochemical properties when compared to those of pristine LiFePO<SUB>4</SUB>. These observed results clearly indicate the effect of carbon in improving the reactivity and synthesis of LiFePO<SUB>4 </SUB>nanoparticles at a significantly lower temperature.</P>

The increasing number of vehicles has given rise to frequent traffic accidents. The safety become one of the most important factor for customers to purchase a car. To meet customers' needs, NCAP(New Car Assessment Program) test is performed in many country such as US, Korea, and Europe. EuroNCAP performance becomes important to Korean car makers as the number of exporting vehicle to Europe market increases. The assessment of EuroNCAP frontal crash test includes the criteria of dummy injuries, vehicle measurements of deformation and the subjective modifier. Among the subjective modifier. the Chest Contact Modifier is one of the most ambiguous modifier because of difficulties in getting sufficient clues. In this paper, sled test was carried out using KNCAP full frontal crash pulse to analyze shape patterns of chest acceleration pulse which is one of the information of chest contact modifier. The test result was showed that four patterns of obscure pulse shape in vehicle crash test were categorized and these pulse patterns were clearly revealed to be occurring chest contact or not.
Microstructural and mechanical analysis of Cu and Au interconnect on various bond pads

Effects of High Temperature Storage (HTS) and bonding toward microstructure change of intermetallic compound (IMC) at the wire bonding interface of 3 types of bond pad (Al, AlSiCu and NiPdAu) were presented in this paper. Optical and electron microscope analyses revealed that the IMC growth rate of samples under 175 and 200 ℃ HTS increased in the order of Al > AlSiCu > NiPdAu. Besides, higher HTS and bonding temperatures also promoted higher IMC thickness. The compositional study showed that higher HTS and bonding temperature developed rapid interdiffusion in bonding interface. In the mechanical ball shear test, a decrease of the shear force of Al and AlSiCu bond pads after 500 h HTS was believed due to poorly developed IMC at bonding interface. On the other hand, shear force degradation at 1000 h was due to excessive growth of IMC that in turn causes the formation of defects. For NiPdAu bond pad, increasing trend of shear force with HTS duration at 175 ℃ implied a good reliability of the Cu wire bonding. The rapid microscopic inspection on Cu wired Al bond pad under HTS 175 ℃ showed the IMC development from the periphery to the center of the ball bond. However, after 500 h voids started to develop until the crack was observed at 1000 h.

본 연구에서는 2009년 휘발유 가격이 단기간에 급등한 시기에 고객특성요인(거주지, 나이, 직업)이 휘발유 가격결정에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 휘발유 가격에 대한 기존 연구는 공급자 관점에서 지출비용(브랜드, 지가, 부가 서비스)을 중요시 여기고 과거 가격자료를 통한 수리적 경제모형의 정확도를 높이는데 주력하였다. 그러나 비용관점에서 도출된 경제적 모형은 경제행위를 설명하는데 유익하였지만 판매가격 결정자인 주유소 입장에서 경영 전략의 시사점 제공에는 한계가 있었다. 본 연구는 기존연구의 변수를 포함하여 경영적 시사점을 줄 수 있는 고객변수를 모형에 반영하고자 한다. 또한 기존연구의 종속변수인 판매가격을 보다 다양하게 측정하여 판매마진(휘발유 판매가격-브랜드별 공급가격)과 가격이 평균이상일 가능성, 단기간 가격상승 정도 등으로 세분화하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 시장요인, 고객요인이 다양하게 휘발유 판매가격결정에 중요한 역할을 하였으며 특히 고객특성만을 고려했을 때 한 지역에서 1)아파트 가격이 높고 2)30대 연령 비중이 높으며 3)직업적으로 금융/보험 종사자이 많을수록 휘발유 판매가격은 높았다. 본 연구의 의의는 비용과 경쟁요인에 의한 휘발유 가격결정모형이 아닌 고객의 특성을 토대로 분석하여 모형에 반영하였다는데 있다. 특히 Lach (2007)가 이민을 통한 해외인구 유입을 비용관점(신규 노동공급)이 아닌, 고객관점(가격 탄력성이 높은 고객의 시장유입)에서 접근한 것처럼 서울시의 아파트 가격의 불균형적인 상승을 단순한 지가변화(임대료의 상승)로 본 것이 아니라 고객관점(가격 탄력성이 낮은 고객의 집단형성)에서 주유소 가격에 미친 영향을 살펴보았다. 또한 나이, 직업 등 다양한 개인적 특성의 변수를 모형에 반영하여 고객의 성향차이가 휘발유 가격에 미치는 영향을 실증 분석하였다. The purpose of this research is how apartment price have influenced on gasoline price and district competition intensity among gasoline stations as well. Generally, high apartment price has effect on both price of merchant store and real estate, so that it will act on other prices of consumer items in nearby district. However, this thoughts cannot consider price elasticity of demand and competitors responses, either. For example, Starbucks provides seamless service and single price in spite of store's different facility rents. Most of discount stores offer EDLP (Every-Day-Low-Price) and price difference of each store is very small despite those different rent variation. Consequently, we argue the view that simply higher operating cost has influenced on higher product or service price is lack of customer characteristics and understanding of market structure. In this respect, Lach(2007) pointed out a large number of immigrantswho have higher price elasticities and higher search costs than the native population can decrease prices. This research examines how apartment price has influence on gasoline price based on customer and market structure. our hypotheses are, above all, we may screen customer segments based on apartment price and secondly, gasoline stations which customer can be matched to high apartment price may not need proactive response to even high market competition and price discount factors. In order to control other external variables, we use short terms gasoline price variation data, from4th weeks of May to 2ndweeks of June.
