The purpose of this experiment was to investigate that there are differences of 4 muscles of leg on iEMG and MDF in according to back squat ways, and exercise expertness. Subjects were 14 college male students, these were divided two groups. One was beginner in weight exercise, and the other was expert that they have trained the weight training more than 1 year. The sites of measuring in muscles were erector spine, gluteus maximus, quadriceps and hamstrings. They performed the three ways(without load, smith machine, and free weight) of back squat exercise and we measured iEMG and MDF. On iEMG, there were no significant difference among back squat exercise ways in intermediate level group. But, in intermediate level group there were significant difference among the four muscles within the back squat exercise ways respectively (p<.001, p<.01, p<.001). Also, there was the same result in beginner group(respectively p<.01, p<.05, p<.05). Especially, gluteus maximus was mainly contributed in intermediate level group, and the erector spine and gluteus maximus were mainly contributed in beginner group. On MDF, there was no significant difference between back squat exercise ways. in intermediate level group there was no significant difference among the four muscles within the back squat exercise ways, but in beginner group, there were significant difference among four muscles within the exercise ways respectively (p<.01, p<.01, p<.05).

최근 골다공증성 골절을 예방하기 위해 비스포스포네이트를 사용한 환자에서 오히려 비전형적 대퇴골절이 발생하여 관심을 끌고 있다. 비록 비전형적 대퇴골절의 발생 빈도가 높지 않지만 골절 수술이 쉽지 않고 지연 유합이나 불유합의 위험이 높은 점 등 일반 골절과는 다른 몇 가지 특성이 있어 이에 대해 비전형적 대퇴골절의 치료에 대한 최근의 연구들을 검토하여 살펴보고자 한다. Recently, atypical femoral fractures (AFFs) have been found in patients who were prescribed bisphosphonate to prevent osteoporotic fractures. Although the occurrence of AFF is rare, there are some concerns, such as a higher risk of delayed or non-union of AFF. This paper reviews the treatment of AFF and suggests some considerations during surgery.

We studied the properties of electron transport in mesoscopic GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructure without any intentional dopants in which an external electric field defined the two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG). An electrically formed 2DEG without intentional doping offers many advantages because of the absence of high concentrations of charged scattering centers. We demonstrate that the electron concentration can be easily tuned by varying the gate voltage. This tunability was observed for a high-quality 2DEG with a carrier density ranging from 0.75 to 3.34 × 1011 cm-2, for which the corresponding mobility ranged from 0.26 to 2.93 × 106 cm2V-1s-1. The mobility of the 2DEG is closely followed the experimental power law for high-mobility wafers, μ ∝ n2D0.7.

Nafion<SUP>?</SUP> membrane can be used as an ion-selective polymer membrane in such as ion-concentration polarization. A deep understand on the electrical properties of Nafion<SUP>?</SUP> is necessary to use it effectively. To our first attempt, we observed the motion of fluorescent particles around a Nafion? membrane placed on a solid substrate, under electric field. A large scale vortex structure was observed near the corner of Nafion<SUP>?</SUP> membrane. The motion of particles seems to be significantly affected by the electric field. It is anticipated that in-depth understanding on the flow and particle motion will contribute to find out electrical properties of Nafion<SUP>?</SUP> membrane as well as its influence on electric field.
관절 저항운동의 세트간 휴식간격이 반복수, 운동자각도, 심박수에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine repetition number(RN), rating of perceived exertion(RPE) and heart rate(HR) with 1- and 2-minute rest intervals(RI) between sets of multi and single-joint resistance exercise. Ten recreationally trained men(age:21.4±1.9yr, weight:76.5±8.3kg, height:177.4±8.0cm, body fat:15.9±2.3%, BMR:24.3±1.2kg/㎡) were participated in this study. The participants had more than approximately 6 months of consistent resistance training experience. During the familiarization sessions, they were tested for 10 and one repetition maximum(RM) in Pec dec fly(PD) and Bench press(BP) and for HR(Polar Fitness test and Polar OwnOptimizer). They performed two exercises in a main sessions with an interval of 48-72 hrs between two main sessions. The following protocols were performed in random order with 10RM loads and 4 sets for PD and BP; (a)PD with 1-min (b)PD with 2-min (c)BP with 1-min (d)BP with 2-min. The results indicated that for PD, number of repetitions(NR) was significant difference among sets in compared to 1 set at 1-min and 2-min RI(respectively, p<.001). Additionally, also significant difference was showed between RIs at set 3 and set 4(respectively, p<.01). And, rating of perceived exertion(RPE) was significant difference among sets in compared to 1 set at 1-min and 2-min RI(respectively, p<.001). Heart rate was significant difference among sets in compared to 1 set at 1-min and 2-min RI(respectively, p<.001, p<.01). For BP, number of repetitions(NR) was significant difference among sets in compared to 1 set at 1-min and 2-min RI(respectively, p<.001). Additionally, also significant difference was showed between RIs at set 4(p<.05). And, rating of perceived exertion(RPE) was significant difference among sets in compared to 1 set at 1-min and 2-min RI(respectively, p<.001). Heart rate was significant difference among sets in compared to 1 set at 1-min and 2-min RI(respectively, p<.001, p<.05). Therefore, it is not a good idea to prescribe with 1-and 2-min RI, regardless of joints, in resistance training program for hypertrophy when intermediate exercisers perform.
