Lutembacher's syndrome is rare combination of mitral stenosis (MS) and atrial septal defect (ASD). The hemodynamic interplay between the MS and ASD leads to wide variation of clinical presentation. Here we describe a 43-year-old female with Lutembacher's syndrome and tricuspid regurgitation with pulmonary hypertension, who underwent direct closure of ASD and tricuspid valvuloplasty successfully. We also reviewed other literatures in an effort to increase awareness of this condition.

Any one of the high precision spindle systems and guide way systems, the high stiffness of structure, the error compensation during assembly, high accuracy control system is inevitable technology for development of high precision machine tools. Especially, among these, design of spindle system is one of the most important technologies leading high precision of machine tool and high quality of manufactured products. A high speed and high precision spindle system which will be used for final machining of ferrule, is designed considering the effect of heat, cutting torque, cutting force, and work-piece materials. The detailed design and analysis process are presented.

상부 심부혈전증은 매우 드문 질환이며 본 증례는 상부 심부혈전증으로 발견 된 재발된 위암이다. 70세 여자 환자가 2 주전부터 발생한 좌측 상완 부종을 주소로 내원하였다. 환자는 8년 전 진행성 위암 (3기) 으로 진단받고 아전위절제술 및 수술 후 보조 항암 요법을 시행 받았다. 이후 특별한 증상 없이 외래로 추적 관찰 중, 최근 좌측 상완 부종 호소하여 시행한 흉부 컴퓨터 단층 촬영 상 좌측 액와-쇄골 하 정맥 내 혈전이 발견되어 입원하였다. 좌측 상완의 정맥 조영술에서 좌측 액와-쇄골 하 정맥 내 충만 결손이 관찰되었다. 컴퓨터 단층 촬영 상복강내에 다량의 복수와 결절이 관찰되었으며 세포 조직 검사에서 위암으로 확진되었다. 환자는 항응고 요법 시행 후 좌완의 부종은 호전되었고 항암 요법 시행 후 퇴원하여 외래에서 추적 관찰 중이다.

The purpose of this paper is focus on the effect of cooling season energy saving potential with blind and dimming control strategies in a research building. In this study the influence of the blind and dimming control strategies in current building condition, such as lighting and cooling system were analyzed. Control variables are blind slat angle, blind status, and dimming control of lighting. Control strategies and energy saving potentials of 11 cases were modeled and estimated using the EnergyPlus with EMS class. During the cooling season, lighting and cooling energy reduction were calculated. The results show that slat angles of 0° with blind control(application of EMS) and dimming control is the best in energy performance, lighting and cooling energy consumption are reduced about 4.41% compared to baseline model.

ITU-R recommendation P.1546 models is representative path loss model in the frequency range 30~3000㎒ over expended area (1~1000 ㎞). It is mainly based on the propagation curves and correction factors are added on that. In this paper, we compare measurements and prediction and propose several considerations to enhance the prediction accuracy of ITU-R P.1546 model.

Recently, MIMO communications are regarded as one of the most promising emerging wireless technologies. This paper investigates MIMO wireless systems and their applications in a railway communication system. We firstly discuss railway communication environments including propagation characteristics and radio channel modeling. Next, we consider channel estimate methods, which is a crucial issue under rapidly varying channel condition due to the movement of trains. Channel estimation methods for MIMO systems are addressed and the effect of estimation error is studied. We also have performed simulations for transmit beamforming system and STBC(Space-time block coding) to investigate the performance of MIMO schemes in railway systems.
