        실내조건에서 무당벌레(Harmonia axyridis : Coleoptera: Coccinellidae)의 각 발육단계에 친환경농자재가 미치는 영향

        무당벌레(H. axyridis)는 세계적으로 진딧물의 포식자로 널리 알려지면서 농생태계내에서 진딧물을 방제하기 위한 방제인자로 많이 사용하고 있다. 또한 국내에서는 농약의 사용을 억제하는 정부정책과 소비자의 요구 등으로 인하여 친환경농업이 확대되면서 친환경농자재들이 많이 사용되고 있다. 따라서 친환경농자재의 사용은 무당벌레에 직간접적으로 영향을 미칠 수가 있다. 살충성친환경농자재(IEFAMs)의 경우 무당벌레의 각 발육단계에 대하여 대부분 안전한 경향을 나타내고 있다. 살균성친환경농자재(FEFAM)의 경우에도 FEFAM A를 제외한 다른 종류들은 무당벌레에 대하여 영향이 적다. 토양미생물친환경농자재(EFAMSM)인 EFAMSM C와 H는 무당벌레 알의 부화율을 떨어뜨릴 수가 있으며, EFAMSM A와 F는 1령 유충에 피해를 줄 수 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 식물성추출물친환경농자재(EFAMPE)는 EFAMPE A와 D는 무당벌레 알에 치명적인 독성을 보이고 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 그 이외의 다른 조사된 농자재들은 무당벌레에 비교적 독성이 약한 것으로 평가되었다. The multicolored Asian ladybird beetle (Harmonia axyridis) has been commonly used with biological control agents for control of several kinds of aphids in agroecosystems. Also, environment friendly agricultural materials have been commonly applied in crop fields because the government held down pesticide application and environment friendly agricultures are gradually increased with consumer's desires. The multicolored Asian ladybird beetles may be directly or indirectly under the influence of environment friendly agricultural materials In crop fields. The insecticidal environment friendly agricultural materials (IEFAMs) might be saff against each developmental stage of multicolored Asian ladybird beetle. Fungicidal environment friendly agricultural materials (FEFAMs) had a miner effect to each developmental stage of multicolored Asian ladybird beetle with the exception of FEFAM A. Environment friendly agricultural materials contained useful soil microorganisms (EFAMSMs) C and H might be down the hatching rate of eggs, and EFAMSM A and F had a killing effect to 1st instar of lady beetles. Environment friendly agricultural materials contained plant extracts (EFAMPEs) A and D might be suffered effect a deathblow of egg hatching with lady beetles. Otherwise, there was a miner effect to lady beetles with the rest of tested environment friendly agricultural materials.

        Sterigmatocystin is a mycotoxin produced by fungi of the genus Aspergillus (mainly A. nidulans and A versicolor). Sterigmatocystin shares its biosynthetic pathway with aflatoixns. The aim of this study is to optimize the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for determination of sterigmatocystin and aflatoxins (B<sub>1</sub>,B<sub>2</sub>,G<sub>1</sub>,G<sub>2</sub>)inrice, simultaneously. Targetsampleswereextractedwith0.1 % formic acid in 50 % acetonitrile then purified with Isolute cartridge (solid phase extraction). Separations by HPLC were mainly conducted with a Cadenza C18 analytical column using 0.1% formic acid and 5 mM ammonium formate under gradient condition with ultrapure water and methanol. The mycotoxins were detected by electrospray ionization in positive or negative ion with multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) and mass spectrometric conditions were optimized in order to increase selectivity and sensitivity. The developed method was validated in terms of linearity, trueness, precision, limits of detection and quantification. Matrix-matched calibration was used for quantification, with regression coefficients (R2) ≥ 0.98.

        실내조건에서 친환경농자재가 기생성 천적곤충에 미치는 영향

        시설하우스의 주요 난방제 해충인 온실가루이, 진딧물 및 아메리카잎굴파리의 생물적 방제를 위해 사용되는 온실가루이좀벌, 콜레마니진디벌 및 굴파리좀벌 굴파리고치벌에 대한 친환경농자재 사용에 따른 영향을 조사하였다. 먼저 친환경농자재가 천적과 직접 접촉하였을 경우의 영향을 알아보기 위하여, 온실가루이좀벌의 머미에 분무하였을 경우, 61개 품목 중에서 살균성친환경농자재인 FEFAME (0.4%), 몰리브덴함유친환경농자재 G (2.7%)를 뿌린 경우에는 거의 우화하지 않았다. 또한, 성충에 미치는 잔효독성을 조사한 결과, 식물성추출물친환경농자재 J 와 몰리브덴함유친환경농자재인 EFAMMo C는 처리 후 48시간 후의 생존율이 0%였고, 미량요소함유친환경농자재인 EFAMME B (6.7%)., 식물성추출물친환경농자재인 EFAMPE H, 토양미생물친환경농자재인 EFAMSM H (13.3%), 살균성친찬경농자재인 FEFAM A와 D (20.0%) 등이 처리 48시간 후 생존율이 낮게 나타났다. 콜레마니진디벌의 경우 직접접촉에 대한 평가에서 머미에 분무하는 경우에는 대조구(물)조차도 22%의 낮은 우화율을 보이고 있으며, 성충에 대한 잔효효과의 경우에, 몰리브덴함유친환경농자재인 EFAMMo C는 처리 48시간 후 0%의 생존율을 나타내었고, 식물성추출물친환경농자재인 EFAMPE J (6.7%), EFAMPE F 와 EFAMPE H, 토양미생물친환경농자재인 EFAMSM H (13.3%)등이 20% 이하의 낮은 처리 후 48시간 후의 생존율을 나타내었다. 굴파리좀벌 굴파리고치벌의 경우에는 식물성추출물친환경농자재인 EFAMPE J가 처리 후 48시간 후 0%의 생존율를 나타내었고, 몰리브덴함유친환경농자재인 EFAMMo C가 53.3%로 낮은 처리 후 48시간 후의 생존율을 보였으며, 이외 친환경농자재에 대하여는 영향이 거의 없거나 낮은 것으로 나타나고 있다. For the biological control of the greenhouse whitefly, aphids, American leaf-miners, Encarsia formosa, Aphidius coiemani, Diglyphus isaea, and Dacnusa sibirica were used as biological control factors. Otherwise, many kinds of environment friendly agricultural materials were also used in the kindly environment friendly farming. For testing the toxicity of environment friendly agricultural materials against to insect parasitoids as biological control factors, 61 environment friendly agricultural materials were selected by using methods and periods with insect parasitoids in the greenhouses. Environment friendly agricultural materials were sprayed to mummies and adults of E. formosa and A. colemani, and adults of Diglyphus isaea and Dacnusa sibirica in laboratory condition. Emergence rates were checked during 12 days after spray to mummies of E. formosa and A. colemani, and survival rates were at 24 and 48 hours after viral test for adult parasitoids, with 10% sugar solution. Emergence rates of E. formosa mummies were inhibited by sprayed the fungicidal environment friendly agricultural material (FEFAM) E and the environment friendly agricultural materials contained molybdenum (EFAMMo) G as 0.4 and 2.7%, respectively. E. formosa adults were not survived in vial for 48hours after sprayed and dried with the environment friendly agricultural materials contained plant extract (EFAMPE) J and the EFAMMo C. The environment friendly agricultural materials contained microelements (EFAMMEs) B and EFAMPE H, environment friendly agricultural materials contained useful soil microorganisms (EFAMSMs) H, FEFAM A and FEFAM D were recorded low survival rates of E. formosa adults with 6.7, 13.3, 13.3, 20.0 and 20.0, respectively. In case of the spraying environment friendly agricultural materials to mummies of A. colemani there were low emergence rate from mummies to adults as around 20s % with water spraying as control. A. colemani adults were not survived in vial with EFAMMo C. EFAMPE J, EFAMPE F, EFAMPE H, EFAMSM H were recorded low survival rates under 20% as 6.7, 13.3, 13.3 and 13.3, respectively, D. isaea and D. sibirica adults were not survived in vial with EFAMPE J. EFAMMo C was 53.3% of survival rates in 48 hours vial tests. D. isaea and D. sibirica were not affected by environment friendly agricultural materials compared with E. formosa and A. colemani.

        Purpose: The objective of this study was to develop a new nutrition screening tool for quality improvement of the nutritional care process in an acute care hospital with a 2,000-bed capacity. Methods: To evaluate the current nutrition screening tool, we first examined 435 patients (274 men, aged 59.0±12.2 years). In the second step, the nutritional status of 387 patients (215 men, aged 57.5±13.3 years) was assessed by the scored patient-generated subjective global assessment (PG-SGA) tool. Variables such as age, body mass index (BMI), plasma albumin concentration, weight change, food intake change, and disease severity were analyzed to select indices for developing a new Severance nutrition screening index (SNSI). Results: The current nutrition screening tool had a poor correlation with the PG-SGA (κ=0.180, P<0.0001). The SNSI was calculated as follows: SNSI = 1.5×albumin+ 1.0×BMI+4.5×intake change+1.5×weight loss (for albumin< 3.0, BMI<20, and decreased intake and weight loss>5% of usual body weight). The SNSI showed a sensitivity of 90.5%, a specificity of 90.7%, and a high correlation (κ=0.628, P<0.0001) with the PG-SGA. Conclusion: The SNSI appears to be a valid and useful nutrition screening tool to determine the nutritional risk of patients in acute care hospitals. (JKSPEN 2013;5(2): 82-88)

        Voltage-dependent Calcium Channel (VDCC) α1A Subunit Expression in the Ataxic Mutant, Pogo Mice Cerebellum

        본 연구는 한국산 야생마우스에서 유래된 선천성 행동이상 Pogo마우스 소뇌 voltage-dependent calcium channel (VDCC) α1A의 발현을 면역조직화학법으로 조사하여 행동이상의 발생과 소뇌 P/Q calcium channel 발현의 상관관계를 밝히고자 계획되어 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, VDCC α1A 면역반응은 행동이상 Pogo마우스와 대조군 마우스 소뇌겉질 조롱박세포, 과립세포 및 깊은소뇌핵에서 관찰되었다. 소뇌겉질 조롱박세포와 과립세포의 면역반응성은 행동이상 Pogo마우스와 대조군에서 특별한 차이가 관찰되지 않았다. 둘째, 깊은소뇌핵의 VDCC α1A 면역반응은 대조군에 비하여 행동이상 Pogo마우스 소뇌에서 증가됨이 관찰되었다. 깊은소뇌핵의 사이핵과 가쪽핵에서는 VDCC α1A 면역반응성이 증가됨이 뚜렷하였으나 정중핵에서는 대조군과 유사한 면역반응성을 보여 깊은소뇌핵 내에서도 차이가 있음을 관찰하였다. 이상의 결과로 행동이상 Pogo마우스에서 관찰되는 깊은소뇌핵 VDCC α1A 발현의 증가는 소뇌 칼슘 항상성의 변화를 유발하여 행동이상의 발생과 밀접한 연관관계가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. The pogo mouse is a new ataxic mutant derived from a Korean wild mouse. The pogo mutation is inherited as an autosomal recessive trait on chromosome 8. Mutations in gene coding for the α1A subunit of voltagegated P/Q-type Ca2+ channel have been shown to cause phenotypes in humans and mice, i.e., tottering, leaner, rolling mouse mouse Nagoya. Using immunohistochemistry, the expression of the α1A subunit of voltage-gated P/Q-type Ca2+ channel was examined in pogo mice cerebellum including deep cerebellar nuclei (DCN). We observed α1A immunoreactivity in the cerebellar cortex (Purkinje cell and granule cell) and DCN of ataxic pogo mice and heterozygote control mice. There was no difference in cerebellar cortical α1A immunoreactivity between ataxic pogo mice and heterozygous littermate controls (pogo/+). However, we observed α1A immunoreactivity in the Purkinje cells of control and ataxic pogo mice cerebellum and DCN. We found a significant difference between pogo and heterozygous controls in terms of α1A immunoreactivities in the DCN. α1A immunoreactivity in this nucleus in pogo was much higher than in heterozygous littermate controls. No significant differences were observed in the interposed nucleus between pogo and heterozygous controls, but we found that the α1A subunits were clearer and more abundant in the lateral and medial regions of pogo than in control mice in these regions, where only weak immunoreactivity was observed. This elevated expression of the α1A subunit in deep cerebellar neurons of pogo might be a compensation for the altered function of P/Q type calcium channel and be related with the induction of the ataxic phenotype in pogo mice.

        실내조건에서 친환경농자재가 포식성 칠레이리응애, Phytoseiulus persimilis(Acari: Phytoseiidae)에 미치는 영향

        시설재배지 내에서의 친환경농자재는 해충방제, 식물병방제 등의 작물보호를 위해 사용하기도 하지만, 작물의 생육을 도와주는 역할을 위해 사용되기도 한다. 이러한 친환경농자재는 점박이응애를 방제하기 위하여 사용되는 천적인 칠레이리응애와 중복 사용될 수 도 있다. 이때 친환경농자재가 칠레이리응애에 미칠 수 있는 영향을 평가하였다. 본 실험에 사용된 친환경농자재는 함유된 물질과 사용방법에 따라서 61개를 선발하여 사용하였다. 친환경농자재를 직접 칠레이리응애에 분무하였을 경우, 심각한 독성(10% 이하의 생존율)을 보이는 친환경농자재들은 IEFAM C와 FEFAM A, EFAMSM A, D, EFAMPE A, EFAMCh B, EFAMME A, EFAMMo C 등이었으며, 영향이 거의 없는 농자재들로는 FEFAM C, D, EFAMSM C, EFAML A, EFAMME C, E, H, J, EFAMMo G, I등이었다. 친환경 농자재를 살포한 후에 남아있게 될 잔효독성을 평가한 경우, 48시간이 경과한 후에 EFAMSM I, EFAMME A, EFAMMo A, C, I 등이 독성이 매우 높은 것으로 평가되었다. 그러나 EFAMCh C와 EFAMMo B는 칠레이리응애에 안전한 것으로 평가되었다. 따라서 친환경농자재를 사용하고자 할 경우에는 칠레이리응애에 대한 독성을 평가하는 것이 필요할 것으로 생각된다. Many kinds of environment friendly agricultural materials were used for the insect pest control and the control of plant diseases, furthermore they support the growth of crops in the greenhouses and the kindly environment friendly farming. Phytoseiulus persimilis might be used for control of two-spotted mites with environment friendly agricultural materials at the same time. For testing the toxicity of environment friendly agricultural materials against to p. persimilis, 61 environment friendly agricultural materials were selected by material contents and using methods. When environment friendly agricultural materials were directly sprayed on P. persimilis, IEFAM C, FEFAM A, EFAMSM A, D, EFAMPE A, EFAMCh B, EFAMME A, and EFAMMo C killed over 90%. However, there was no effects to FEFAM C, D, EFAMSM C, EFAML A, EFAMME C, E, H, J, EFAMMo G and I against P. persimilis. P. persimilis adults were not survived in vial for 48 hours after sprayed and dried with the environment friendly agricultural materials, fer examples, EFAMSM I, EFAMME A, EFAMMo A, C, and I. Otherwise, EFAMCh C and EFAMMo B were no effects to P. persimilis. Some environment friendly agricultural materials are of different qualities, and consequently test of their foxily have to necessary.

        <P>CD99 signaling is crucial to a diverse range of biological functions including survival and proliferation. CD99 engagement is reported to augment activator protein-1 (AP-1) activity through mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase pathways in a T-lymphoblastic lymphoma cell line Jurkat and in breast cancer cell lines. In this study, we report that CD99 differentially regulated AP-1 activity in the human myeloma cell line RPMI8226. CD99 was highly expressed and the CD99 engagement led to activation of the MAP kinases, but suppressed AP-1 activity by inducing the expression of basic leucine zipper transcription factor, ATF-like (BATF), a negative regulator of AP-1 in RPMI8226 cells. By contrast, engagement of CD99 enhanced AP-1 activity and did not change the BATF expression in Jurkat cells. CD99 engagement reduced the proliferation of RPMI8226 cells and expression of cyclin 1 and 3. Overall, these results suggest novel CD99 functions in RPMI8226 cells.</P>

        <P>Human hemangioblasts exist only during the early embryonic developmental stage thereby limiting the adult cellular source from which to obtain such cells for study. To overcome this, hemangioblast studies have focused on utilizing human embryonic stem cell (hESC) derivatives but current methods are cell-line dependent. Single cell dissociation of a hESC colony quickly led to cell death in most hESC lines due to enzyme treatment which, in turn, reduced induction potential and hemangioblast differentiation efficiency. Therefore, we sought to effectively improve the process of cell dissociation that is adaptable to various hESC lines and increase the initial induction potential of embryoid body (hEB). As a result, we determined an effective cell dissociation method through a comparison study involving various reagents which demonstrated successful dissociation regardless of cell line and enhanced hemangioblast differentiation efficiency.</P>

        4-Ary Codebook Design Using Reed–Muller Codes for MIMO Beamforming Systems

        <P>We design 4-ary codebooks using Reed-Muller codes for multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) beamforming systems. An upper-bound on the maximum correlation magnitude metric of a 4-ary codebook is derived from the minimum Hamming distance of the corresponding binary linear block code. The 4-ary MIMO beamforming codebooks for the number of transmit antennas equal to 4, 8, 16, and 32 are tabulated. We show that the 4-ary codebook using Reed-Muller codes provides the same symbol error probability (SEP) as the Long-Term Evolution (LTE) codebook when the number of transmit antennas is 4 and when the number of feedback bits is 4.</P>
