Porous materials were manufactured by hydrothermal treatment of waste bottle glass without foam agent. The optimal condition for the hydrolysis was found with 45㎛ particle size of raw material, 20wt% distilled water, 200℃ reaction temperature and 6hr reaction time by using experimental design. Under this condition, the porosity, compressive strength, and thermal conductivity of porous materials were identified as 81.1~89.2%, 74.71±1.11~25.44±2.34kgf/cm² and 0.0309±0.0030~0.04395±0.0031kcal/Hm℃, respectively. The result of these numerical values were comparing with those of ALC (autoclaved lightweight concrete), although it has higher porosity than for ALC.
