빌립보서 안에 나타난 그리스도인의 실존 : 복음에 합당한 삶을 중심으로

오늘날 그리스도인은 필연적으로 교회와 세상의 소통 방식의 차이에서 기인한 정체성의 혼란을 경험한다. 그리스도인의 정체성을 확립하지 못한 개인의 ‘믿음과 삶의 분리’라는 문제는 교회적 차원의 공동체 분열과 사회적 차원의 반(反)기독교 인식 형성의 문제로 확대된다. 빌립보서의 저자 바울은 교회 안팎의 어려움으로 힘겨워하는 그리스도인들을 향해 ‘복음에 합당한 삶’을 살 것을 요청한다. 그리스도인의 정체성과 본질적 삶에 관한 교훈이 담긴 바울의 권면은 그리스도인으로서의 분명한 정체성 규명을 요청하는 시대적 요구에 대한 응답이 될 수 있다. 본 논문은 빌립보서 1장 27절의 ‘복음에 합당한 삶’에 관한 바울의 권면을 중심으로 빌립보서 전체 본문을 재구성하여 개인적, 교회적, 사회적 차원에서 그리스도인의 실존을 연구함에 그 목적이 있다. 개인적 차원에서는 삶의 의미와 목적, 정체성 변화에 초점을 맞추어 복음에 합당한 삶을 살아가는 바울과 예수, 디모데와 에바브 로디도의 삶을 모델로 제시한다. 교회적 차원에서는 복음을 위한 교제의 중요성을 다루며 사회적 차원에서는 복음에 참여하는 삶과 그리스도인의 소명에 관해 논한다. 그리스도인의 실존에 관한 바울 의 교훈은 오늘날 정체성의 위기를 마주한 교회 공동체가 나아가야 할 방향에 관한 고민과 실천에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이 분명하다. Today, Christians inevitably experience confusion of identity due to differences in the way they communicate with the church and the world. The problem of ‘separation between faith and life’ experienced by individuals who fail to establish their Christian identity extends to the problem of community division at the church level and formation of anti-Christian perceptions at the social level. Paul, the author of the Philippians, asks Christians who are struggling with difficulties inside and outside the church to live a ‘A manner worthy of the gospel of Christ’ Paul's counsel, which contains lessons about the identity and essential life of Christians, can be a response to the demands of the times that ask for a clear identification of their identity as Christians. This study on the the identity of Christians at the individual, church, and social levels by reconstructing the entire text of the book of Philippians, focusing on Paul's core command on ‘A manner worthy of the gospel of Christ’ in Philippians 1:27. At the personal level, Focusing on the meaning, purpose, and identity of life, it presents the models of Paul and Jesus, Timothy and Epaphroditus, who live a life for manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. At the church level, it deals with the importance of fellowship for the gospel as evidence of salvation. At the social level, we discuss life participating in the gospel and the calling as Christians. Paul's lessons on the identity of Christians can help the church community to think and practice the direction it should take today in the face of the crisis of identity.

윤동주 시의 의미를 올바로 해석하고자 시에 나타나는 천명(天命)에 대해 알아보았다. 윤동주 시에 대한 지금까지의 선행연구를 살펴보면 기독교적 관점이나 민족의 저항시인으로 많이 연구되었음을 알 수 있다. 논자는 여기에서 탈피하여 실존적 삶에 비추어 유교적 관점으로 연구해보고자 하였다. 윤동주는 자기의 작품을 통해 내면의 의식이나 의지 등을 반복적으로 나타내었으며, 내면적 성찰의 과정과 편린(片鱗)들을 삶의 과정과 일치시켜 작품으로 나타내었음을 알 수 있었다. 삶을 통한 이러한 의식의 변모과정(變貌過程)을 윤동주 시의 특징중 하나인 시작(時作) 날짜를 기준으로 삼아 차례대로 분석하여 가장 인간적인 그의 삶과 사상, 그리고 문학에 대한 지향성(指向性)등을 알아보았다. 윤동주는 이러한 과정에서 천명으로서의 시인의 삶을 살고자 자각(自覺)을 하였으며, 그의 자각에 따라 시인의 삶을 살고자 하지만, 그에 따른 생활의 어려움과 부친의 반대 등, 실존적 삶에 대한 여러 가지 문제에 봉착(逢着)한다. 그는 이러한 문제를 슬기롭게 해결하여 본질적 삶에 대한 의의를 찾고, 현실수용을 통하여 자신이 나아갈 길이 무엇인지를 인식(認識)한다. 또한 자기가 걸어갈 자신에 대한 길 찾기와 시인으로서 삶의 의미를 실현하고자 하였다. 이러한 과정에서 그는 현실적으로 당시의 어려운 세상을 구하기에는 시민의 힘이 미약(微弱)함을 깨닫고 좌절하고 절망한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 그는 이러한 모든 여건을 극복하고 끝까지 지조(志操)를 지켜 시인이란 천명과 최초의 악수를 나눈다. 이상과 같이 윤동주 시의 분석을 통해 삶의 도정(道程)에서 나타나는 천명을 알아보았다. 윤동주의 문학세계는 시의 창작으로 부단(不斷)없는 자기관성을 추구하면서 최후까지 희망의 긍정적 자기암시로 자아를 찾아 나아가는 시인의 모습을 볼 수 있었다. 윤동주는 실존적 삶에 고뇌하고 천명에 따라 삶을 살고자 하였으며, 아름다운 순수 시인이 되길 바랬다. 이러한 꿈은 사후(死後)에 세워진 "時人尹東柱之墓"라는 묘비명(墓碑銘)에서 증명되고 있다. I lighted up an idea of God's will expressing in Yun Dong-ju's Poems. According to preceding studies, his poems have studied Christian viewpoint or a resistant poet of crowd. But I have studied Confucian viewpoint casting them off. He repeatedly expressed internal senses or will by his poems. And he was showed up a course of internal reflection and parts which was according with a route of life. I examined transfiguration course of these senses. It found the most humanist his life, thought and pointing to literature analyzing in turn. For this course, he became conscious of poem's life which was living God' s will and wanted to live poem's life according to his consciousness. But he suffered a lot of problems from life's difficulty and objection of father. He felt frustrated and despaired when he realized poem's power is weak. However, he overcame every conditions and kept honor to the last. As the above-mentioned, I found out the idea of God's will agreeing with existence which was appeared life's journey. Yun Dong-Ju's literature worlds pursue persistent perfection of self and search for self as affirmative autosuggestion to the end. He pained existential life and wished to live by God's will. He hoped to become a pure poet. This dream are proving "poet Yun Dong-Ju's tombstone", an inscription on a tombstone which was built after his death.
