여성노인의 신체활동참여와 운동정서,신체상,고독감에 관한 연구

본 연구는 여성노인의 신체활동 참여정도에 따른 정서와 신체상, 그리고 고독감의 차이와 그 영향을 알아보는데 목적을 두었다. 본 연구의 대상은 서울 및 경기도에 소재하고 있는 각 노인대학 8곳, 동사무소에서 운영하고 있는 공공노인시설 13곳을 중심으로 총 320(90.145%)명이었다. 정서에 대한 조사도구는 한국형 정서척도를 개발한 유진, 김종오(2002)의 척도와 신체상에 대한 측정도구는 조정환, 송금주(2002)의 신체상 검사지, 고독감은 원형중(1994)의 고독감 질문지를 사용하였다. 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여성노인의 정서차이에 관련한 결과를 살펴보면, 신체활동참여의 노인들이 비참여 노인들에 비해 정서차원의 재미, 활력, 성취, 긍지가 모두 높게 나타났다. 참여종목에 따른 차이를 보면 댄스스포츠나 무용 등 율동적 활동에 참여하는 노인들이 건강중심의 걷기나 구기 종목 참여노인들에 비해 성취와 긍지를 높게 인식하였다. 여성노인의 신체활동의 참여빈도에 따른 차이는 신체활동에 매일 참여하는 노인들이 주1-2회나 3-4회 참여하는 노인보다 재미, 성취, 긍지를 많이 느끼는 결과를 보였다. 참여시간에 따른 차이는 매일 참여나 1-2시간 이상 참여하는 대상 이 활력, 성취, 긍지가 높았다. 신체활동의 참여기간에 따른 차이는 5년 이상 참여한 노인이 2년 이하나 2-5년 참여노인보다 재미가 크게 나타났고, 긍지는 2-5년 참여가 2년 이하나 5년 이상보다 높은 결과를 보였다. 둘째, 여성노인의 정서차원에서 재미요인에 대해 참여빈도, 참여기간이 영향을 미치고, 성취에는 참여빈도, 참여시간이 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 한편, 긍지에 대한 신체활동 참여정도의 영향력은 참여빈도, 참여기간이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 신체활동 참여정도가 정서요인에 미치는 영향력은 10%이내의 낮은 설명력 수준을 보였다. 한편, 신체상과 고독감에 참여빈도, 참여시간, 참여기간 모두 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 셋째, 여성노인의 정서요인중 활력, 긍지가 고독감에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 넷째, 여성노인의 신체상이 고독감에 대한 영향력은 건강체력이 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 여성노인은 율동적인 신체활동에 지속적으로 자주 참여함으로서 재미나 활력, 성취감, 그리고 긍지를 높게 갖고, 이에 따라 체력과 건강차원에서 긍정적인 신체상을 인식하여 고독감을 덜 느끼게 된다. 본 연구의 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정서는 환경적, 성향적 요인에 따라 변화적이기 때문에 여성노인의 신체활동 참여 동안 질적 차원에서 관찰과 면접을 통하여 분석하는 연구가 뒷받침되어야 한다. 둘째, 본 연구에서의 주요 변인이 여성 노인의 정서와 신체상, 고독감으로서 변인별 개별 차이 분석에 부가해서 차후 연구에서는 변인간 인과관계를 분석하는 것이 요구된다. 예로서 신체활동 참여가 정서와 신체상을 긍정적으로 형성함으로서 고독감을 덜 느끼는 것인가에 대한 메커니즘을 규명하는 것이 필요하다. 셋째, 차후연구에서는 여성노인이 참여할 수 있는 신체활동 프로그램 개발과 더불어 참여환경에 장애요인을 규명함으로서 제도적으로 노인들에게 적용할 수 기반을 조성하는 연구가 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to verify emotion, body-image and loneliness as a function of elderly women's participation in physical activity. The subjects of this study were 320(90.145%) with eight college seniors and the elderly operating in a public facility in Seoul and Kyonggi Province. The completed survey sheets were examined with the preliminary investigation on the content feasibility and applicability and then ensured with reliability and validity. The data were analysed without the others which had poor qualities or unreliable were excluded. The statistical methods for the data analysis in this study were ANOVA, and Regression Analysis. Results of this study is as following. First, There were significant difference on the fun, vitality, accomplishment, and pride of emotion factors as a function of the elderly women's participate in physical activity. Second, the frequency and the period of participation in physical activity of the elderly women affected to the fun of emotion factors. And, the frequency and the time of participation in physical activity of the elderly women affected to the accomplishment of emotion factors. Third, the emotional vitality of the elderly women were factor that affect loneliness. Fourth, the physical health of the elderly woman's body-image factors were factor that affect loneliness. In conclusion, as elderly women are often rhythmic movement continues to participate in physical activities, fun, vitality, the sense of accomplishment and pride of emotion factors held high. In addition, elderly women with the positive body-image have less loneliness. In the recommend of the study, first, as the elderly woman's emotion is changing according to environmental factors, to analysis on the elderly woman's emotion, observation and interviews during physical activity should be corroborated. secondly, the elderly woman's emotion in future studies, the analysis of causal relationship of body-image and loneliness is required. Third, in future studies, development of physical activity program that elderly women can participate is needed.
