Transhumanism and theistic spirituality : a critical posthuman mediation

이 연구의 주요 목표는 트랜스휴먼의 주제 형성을 탐구하고, 종교적인 난관 이슈를 위한 가능한 이유들을 알아내고자 함에 있다. 자율과 제거의 트랜스휴먼 주제형성은 횡단성, 체화와 내장성 그리고 포스트휴먼 주제들의 상황성으로 분석되어진다. 더 나아가, 이 연구는 본질에서 무신론적으로 다시 부상하는 영성에 의하여 비평적 포스트휴머니즘과 트랜스휴머니즘의 대조적인 특성을 파악한다. 조직화된 종교에서의 이 의심은 어떻게 유신론에 근거한 비평적 포스트휴먼 영성이 포스트휴먼 주제를 만들어 낼 수 있는가라는 질문을 일으킨다. 이 질문에 답하기 위하여, 이 연구는 동방정교회 신학자인 Paulos Mar Gregorios의 신학적인 인류학과 접목하기 위하여 비평적 포스트휴먼 이론을 전개한다. 그의 육체와 정신의 비이원성 개념화인 자연-문화-은혜 연속체와 기술의 성사성은 포스트휴먼 주제들을 위한 영성을 창조하는 가능성을 가진다. 이 연구에서 비평적 포스트휴먼 유신론적인 영성은 Gregorios에 의해 제안된 창조주와 창조사이의 인간 중재라는 전제를 통하여 고찰되어진다. 하나님의 energeia 안에서 인류의 중재자 참여와 창조와 함께 하는 인간의 무계층적인 지위는 비평적 포스트휴먼의 유신론적 영성의 발전 가능성과 잠재력을 유발한다. 중재뿐만 아니라 일직과 횡단으로서의 포스트휴먼 주제의 재구성은 비평적인 포스트휴먼의 유신론적 영성을 미화한다. 이 비평적 포스트휴먼의 유신론적 영성은 Gregorios 의 askēsis, 새로운 공동체, 생성이라는 3가지의 영적인 제안들에 의하여 더 나아간다. 이 영성을 통하여 야기된 새로운 해석학은 창조와 함께 재매력으로 이 연구는 결론을 맺는다. The primary objective of this study is to explore the transhuman subject formation and tease out the possible reasons for religious impasse. The transhuman subject formation of autonomy and erasal is analysed through transversality, embodied and embeddedness, and situatedness of the posthuman subjects. Further, the study deciphers the contrasting nature of critical posthumanism and transhumanism by resurfacing residual spirituality which is non-theistic in nature. This incredulity on organised religion raises a question of how a critical posthuman spirituality informed by theism could be created for posthuman subject? To make a sense of this question, the study deploys critical posthuman theory to engage theological anthropology of Eastern Orthodox theologian Paulos Mar Gregorios. His non-duality conceptualisation of mind and body, nature-culture-grace continuum and sacramentality of technology has the potential for creating spirituality for the posthuman subjects. In this research a critical posthuman theistic spirituality is envisaged through the postulation of human mediation between Creator and creation proposed by Gregorios. The mediatory participation of human beings within the energeia of God and the non-hierarchical position of human with the creation, evokes the possibility and potentiality of developing a critical posthuman theistic spirituality. Reconfiguring posthuman subjectivity as both singular and transversal as well as mediatory, embellishes critical posthuman theistic spirituality. This critical posthuman theistic spirituality is further situated through three spiritual propositions of Gregorios, askēsis, new community and becoming. The study concludes that a new hermeneutics evolved through this spirituality is the re-enchantment with creation.
