컨벤션산업에서 디자인의 역할에 관한 연구 : 디자인의 매니지먼트 관점에서
21세기를 맞아 지식기반산업의 결합체인 컨벤션 산업에 대한 관심이 더욱 고조되고 있다. 컨벧션의 고부가가치에 일찍 눈뜬 선진 각국에서는 다투어 컨벤션센터를 건립 하고 컨벤션 유치에 팔을 걷고 나서는 한편, 소프트웨어 개발에 전력투구하고 있다, 일례로 가까운 나라 일본의 항구도시 요코하마가 컨벤션 복합단지 건설을 통하여 컨벤션 테마도시가 되었으며 몇 년 전 대지진으로 폐허가 되었던 고베 역시 컨벤션 도시로 놀랍게 재창조되었다. 우리나라도 다소 늦은감은 있으나, 곳곳에서 컨벤션센터의 건립을 추진하고 있으며 여러 컨벤션센터가 완공되는 2002년부터는 하드웨어적 기반 위에 소프트웨어의 필요성이 한층 대두될 것으로 보인다. 즉, 킨벤션센터 건립과 호텔, 도로 등의 사회기반시설의 확충을 컨벤션 개최를 위한 하드웨어적 측면으로 본다면 소프트웨어는 컨벤션을 성공으로 이끌기위한 질적 서비스의 문제라 하겠다. 각 국은 이미 보다 많은 컨벤션을 유치하고 참가자로부터 더 높은 만족감을 이끌어 냄으로써 컨벤션이 가진 부가가치를 한층 높이기 위한 소프트웨어의 개발에 여념이 없다. 뒤늦게 눈뜬 우리나라에서 보다 많은 컨벤션을 유치하여 성공으로 이끌기 위해서는 국내 컨벤션 산업의 현황 파악을 통해 드러난 문제점을 바탕으로 컨벤션의 질적 향상을 위한 소프트웨어 개발에 만전을 기해야할 것이다. 정보화 시대의 커뮤니케이션과 디자인이라는 문제는 학계와 사회에서 이미 수도 없이 논의되고 연구되어졌고, 이제 우리는 21세기 핵심적 지식기반산업 하나인 컨벤션 산업 에서 커뮤니케이션과 디자인, 그리고 컨벤션 경영이라는 문제를 짚어볼 때이다. 현대는 단순 서비스를 파는 시대를 넘어서 이미지와 체험을 판매하는 시대로 가고 있다, 점차 국제화·지구촌화 되어가는 시대에 발맞추어 우리나라에서 개최되는 각종 컨벤션 참가자에게 자국의 이미지 고양 및 만족스런 체험과 감동을 줄 수 있는 방안을 체계적으로 만들어야할 것이다, 이에 본 연구에서는 컨벤션 산업의 질적 향상을 위한 소프트웨어 발전에 있어 디자인이 갖는 의미와 역할을 알아보고, 국내 컨벤션 산업의 예를 디자인경영의 관점에서 비교 분석해 보고자한다. 컨벤션 산업과 디자인 경영의 연계를 통해 컨벤션 산업이 종합서비스산업으로서 안고 있는 여러 가지 난해한 문제 해결은 물론 디자인의 위상 제고와 더불어 앞으로의 발전에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이라 생각된다. It is been more concerned about convention industries which is a combination of the industry based on the knowledge in the 21century. The advanced countries are early noticed the worth of convention, they built up convention centers, trying to bring it in and also concern about developing softwares. For instance It is been became a convention theme city through convention housing development at the port city, Yokohama in Japan. It seems to be a little late but in my country, it goes to built up the convention centers in many places. And the necessity of softwares based on hardwares are going to be emphasized when it comes complicated in 2002.That is if you see in the side of hardwares for the expansion of convention centers, hotels, roads and so on it is a matter of services quality for the success of convention. In a lot of countries, they trying to develop the softwares to raise the values of the conventions through they hold more conventions and let the participants to get satisfied. For my country, we have to concern about developing softwares for succeed of convention. Communications and designs are discussed and investigated in the academic circles and societies, now we have to go through communications and designs and convention management in the convention industries which is one of the industry based on knowledge in 21 centuries. Presently we sell the images and experiences behind selling simple services. We are suppose to scheme that how to impress the convention participants about exaltations of my country and content experiences in global world. Therefore in this investigation, Searching for the meaning of the designs and roles in software to upgrade quality of convention industries, and then also analyze the examples of convention industries in viewpoint of the design management. The problem solving belongs to convention industries as the total services industries through convention industries and design industries are connected, and helps to develop the designs.
