This study aims to examine “duality” in An Ideal Husband and The Importance Being Earnest written by Oscar Wilde. Wilde was one of the successful playwrights in the Victorian age. Nevertheless, it was his fate to display a different face in a public life from that in his private life. He needed a public mask as a strategy to assert what he was against- Victorian hypocrisy and materialistic values. This thesis assumes that this Wilde's duality is one of key viewpoints that penetrates through An Ideal Husband and The Importance of Being Earnest. The Second chapter of this study insists that The Ideal Husband shows that Wilde could not help putting on a mask to fill up the gap between public-self and private-self. Furthermore, it proves that he took the well-made-plot as a strategy to pretend to conform to the code of Victorian conduct. Lastly, he still struggles to compromise between the Victorian code of conduct and his own self. The Third chapter demonstrates that how Wilde realizes his own self to the fullest in The Importance Being Earnest through Bunburying game played by the four dandies. By means of Bunburying game, the four dandies create the world free from Victorian codes of conduct and values. The essence of Bunburying game that the dandies play lies in the discrepancy of the meaning between 'Ernest,' another name for two male dandies, and 'earnest,' the key word in Victorian codes of conduct. This chapter examines how the four dandies create the imaginary world free from all the social restrictions, how they overcome their dual discrepant selves in the real world, and how to express their own self to the full in the imaginary world. Oscar Wilde toiled against Victorian values like codes of conduct and materialism all through his life. He struggled to become his own self free from all the restrictions that the society imposed on him. Through The Ideal Husband and The Importance of Being Earnest, Wilde aimed to attain his own self free from all the social restrictions as closely as he can. However, the reality was severe on him. He was sentenced to prison for two years for his liberal idea and behavior. Due to this very liberal idea and behavior, Wilde's plays had been evaluated to the extreme up to mid-twentieth century. However, the postmodernism in the 1980's changed the view towards the plays radically. The critics realized that their assessment on Wilde was done wrong. They started to look at Wilde from the post-modern perspective, away from Victorian moral one. Finally, Wilde was recognized one of pioneer post-modern playwrights.

Electronic commerce has brought abouta general revolution in the field of commercial transaction which is comparable to the Industrial Revolution, and it is still developing. But the studies performed in the past only focused on such things as the function of internet shopping mall, system structure, and operation plan. They did not show much interest in changing the functions or attributes to adjust to consumers’ expectations. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the correlation between consumer attitude and purpose of purchase, and the composition of variables that affect this correlation and their level of influence in the internet shopping mall. A research model was developed, and using it as basis, a hypothesis was proposed. Also, using several preceding studies as a basis, the variables which affect attitude and purpose of purchase were divided into five different categories such as convenience, risk to customers, payment methods, price, and response to customers. The validity of the hypothesis was tested using an empirical investigation method, and for this purpose, a survey was composed using a direct investigation method, and statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS 12 on convenience, risk to customers, payment methods, price, response to customers, attitude and purpose of purchase. The results of the survey showed that all parts of the hypothesis were meaningful. The results pointto the fact that variables such as convenience, risk to customers, payment methods, price, and response to customers all mediate attitude and affect purpose of purchase. The results of this research are expected to be helpful in figuring out the pre-existing variables that affect consumer attitude and purpose of purchase in internet shopping malls, but since only 200 customers of internet shopping malls were involved as the subject of study inmeasuring their attitudes and purpose of purchase in internet shopping malls, the sample spectrum used for the survey was rather limited. There needs to be further investigation with more various age and class groups in order to obtainefficiency of survey and significance of hypothesis testing. Also, as there are many different variables which influence consumer attitude, further studies that include more pre-existing variables will be needed in order to raise the objectivity of the study. No comparison was made between the traffic lines of the virtual space and actual spaces. Lastly, the measurement of the variables affecting attitude was limited only to customers. These limitations in this study need to be overcome by using more various methods, such as establishing the range of and analyzing the differences in the special characteristics of commerce in virtual space, which has the characteristics of expanding sampling with general significance, and establishing the definitions and roles of diverse business exchanges. Then, a more accurate and detailed modeling process regarding various transactions in virtual space will be possible.

유리용기 재배 시 첨가매질이 관엽식물의 생장에 미치는 영향

무배수구 용기 재배 시 숯, 게르마늄, 맥반석 및 하이드로볼을 첨가매질로 하여 배수층 재료와 깊이에 따른 싱고니움의 생장을 알아본 결과 배수층 재료 간 처리구에서는 게르마늄 처리구에서 가장 좋았으며 엽수, 지하부 생체중 및 지하부 건물중에서 유의성이 있었고 배수층 깊이 간 처리구에서는 유의성이 없었다. 엽록소 함량에서 처리 간 유의성은 없었으나, 뿌리의 활력에서는 게르마늄 처리구에서 가장 낮은 숯 처리구에 비해 1.7배 정도 높은 2.8(mg. g-1h-1)이었고 배수층 조성 재료와 배수층 깊이에서 전부 처리구 간 유의성이 있었다. 싱고니움의 무기성분 함량은 배수층 조성 재료 간 처리구에서는 P와 K가 유의성이 있었고 배수층 깊이 간 처리구에서는 T-N, K 및 Ca에서 처리구간 유의성이 있었다. 수경재배 시 첨가매질(게르마늄, 맥반석)이 관엽식물의 생장에 미치는 영향을 알아본 결과 싱고니움, 드라세나, 스킨답서스 및 아이비 모두 게르마늄 처리구에서 엽수, 근장, 근수, 생체중 및 건물중은 가장 좋았고 특히 뿌리의 생장에서 커다란 차이를 보였으며 처리구간 유의성이 있었다. 4종의 식물체 잎의 무기성분 분석 결과 싱고니움은 T-N과 K, 스킨답서스는 T-N과 Mg, 아이비는 P와 Ca에서 유의성이 있었다.
