본 연구는 매립퇴적토층에 타입된 두 개의 개단강관말뚝 (직경·609.6 mm, 길이 = 23.3 ~ 24.5 m)에 대한 여러 가지의 지지력산정법을 비교검토 하였다. 정역학적 지지력 공식에 의한 산정법, 동역학적 공식(항타공식)에 의한 산정법, FDA에 의한 방법, N값을 이용한 경험공식에 의한 산정법, 말뚝해석코드(AP1LEPLUS)에 의한 방법등 여러 가지 산정법에 의해 구해진 지지력들은 말뚝정재하 시험에서 구한 값들과 비교하였다. 말뚝정재하 시험 결과 극한지지력을 확인할 수 있었고 안전율 2.0을 적용할 때 각 말뚝의 허용지지력은 311 ~ 319 ton으로 나타났고 이 값들은 설계하중 250 ton보다 높아 말뚝의 연직지지력은 안정한 것으로 판단되었다. 또한 각 말뚝의 선단은 기반암층으로 분류 되지 않는 자갈층(GP GM)에 지지되었지만 선단지지력의 분담율이 70% 이상인 선단 지지말뚝의 거동을 보였다. 지지력산정법에 의한 계산결과 PDA 방법은 Qa = 203~229 ton, 정역학적 지지력 공식에 의한 계산법은 Qa = 90 ~224ton, SPT 결과를 이용한 경험공식에 의한 계산법은 Qa =104~167ton, 동역학적 공식에 의한 계산법은 Qa =50~206 ton, APILE^PLUS에 의한 계산 결과 Qu=110~170ton, 이었다. 이러한 지지력산정법에 의한 계산결과들은 정재하시험에서 구한 지지력의 35~70%로 낮게 나타났으며 PDA와 정역학적 지지력 공식에 의한 결과는 비슷한 결과를 보였으나, SPT 결과를 이용한 경험공식에 의한 결과와 동역학적 공식에 의한 결과 그리고 APILE^PLUS에 의한 계산 결과는 다소 큰 차이를 보였다. Ultimate bearing capacity of open-ended steel pipe pile from the result of a static pile load test was compared with the calculated bearing capacities from various evaluation methods, such as PDA, dynamic/static bearing capacity formulars, method using SPT number, and program APILE^PLUS. The results of the static pile load tests showed that the allowable bearing capacities were 311-319 ton, when the factor of safety was applied as 2.0, which is greater than design load 250 ton. The pile behaved as end-bearing pile, which the portion of end-bearing was more than 70 per cent, even if the tips of piles were driven to gravel layer (GP-GM). Various evaluation methods showed generally lower values (about 35-70 per cent) compared the results of a static load tests', the result of PDA: Qa = 203-229 ton, the result of the calculation by the static formulars '. Qa = 90-224 ton, the result using SPT: Qa =104-167 ton, the result of the calculation by the dynamic formulars ' Qa = 50-226 ton and the result of the calculation by program APILE' ': Qa = 110-170 ton. Results of the calculated bearing capacities and result by the PDA method were about 70 percent of the result of a static load test but dynamic bearing capacity formular, result of calculation using SPT, and result using program APILE^PLUS were less than 50 per cent.
