意思決定 能力開發 訓練이 中學生의 進路意識成就度에 미치는 效果

본 연구는 의사결정 행동유형이 합리적이지 못한 중학생 집단에게 의사결정 능력개발을 위한 훈련을 실시하여 이 훈련이 의사결정 행동유형과 진로의식성숙도에 어떠한 효과가 있는가를 알아보고자 다음과 같은 가설을 설정하였다. 첫째, 합리적 의사결정유형과 진로의식 성숙정도는 상관이 높을 것이다. 둘째, 의사결정 능력개발 훈련은 의사결정행동을 합리적유형으로 개선시키고 진로의식 성숙정도에 긍정적 효과를 나타낼 것이다. 본 연구의 가설을 검증하기 위하여 연구자가 재직하고 있는 울산시 울주군 소재 B중학교의 2학년 학생 총 144명에게 의사결정유형 검사와 진로성숙도 검사를 실시하여 합리적 의사결정유형과 진로성숙도의 상관관계를 알아보고, 사전검사 결과 의사결정 행동유형이 합리적이지 못한 학생 중 16명을 실험집단에 배정하였다. 검사도구는 의사결정유형과 진로의식성숙도의 측정을 위해 객관적인 도구를 사용하였으며, 훈련에 사용된 프로그램은 Hendrix M. W.(1991)의 학생용 의사결정 자료를 임두순(1999)이 번역한 것을 기초로 하여 본 연구자가 전문가의 지도를 받아 재구성하여 사용하였다. 실험집단에 대해 매주 2회, 총 12회의 프로그램을 진행하였으며, 1회의 소요 시간은 45분으로 하였다. 자료처리는 평균과 상관계수를 산출하고, t-test를 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 합리적 의사결정유형의 진로성숙도는 직관적유형과 의존적유형에 비해 높다. 즉, 이 유형의 학생은 같은 연령 집단의 직관적유형과 의존적유형의 학생들에 비해 진로선택과 관련된 태도와 능력의 정도가 높다고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 의사결정 능력개발 훈련은 의사결정행동을 합리적유형으로 개선시키는 데에는 다소 긍정적이며, 진로의식 성숙정도에 미치는 효과는 매우 긍정적이다. The purpose of the study is to examine the effects of group counseling program for developing decision making ability on the styles of decision making and the levels of career maturity. The program was particularly designed for the students who lacks in rational aspect of decision making style. The hypotheses of the study are as follows. First, if the students experience and follow the rational process of decision making, then they will show high levels of career maturity. Second, if the students get involved in the group counseling program for developing decision making ability, then their styles of decision making and levels of career maturity will be positively improved. Sixteen subjects were chosen from the pool of one hundred forty four middle school students of second grade by the criterion of relatively irrational thinking style. Two kinds of test were given to the subjects; decision making style and career maturity inventory. The program applied to the study was developed by Hendrix M.W.(1991, translated by Lim, 1999) and run forty five minutes of each session twice a week for six weeks. The results are summarized as follows. First, the level of career maturity of the irrational decision making group was higher than those of the intuitive and the dependent group. In other words, the rational group shows higher level of attitude toward career decision making than other groups. Second, it is clear from the results of the study that the program was very effective to improve students' irrational decision making style and to increase the level of career maturity.
