This research used the contents of the contracts and policies of xx insurance company (Data from Jan 1, 2011 to Dec 31, 2016) in order to understand the factors leading to a long-term contract which makes up an important part of the life insurance industry in Korea. This research used the Cox's proportional hazards (PH) model and penalized variable selection methods to look for variables that led to a long-term contract. Variables considered include the change of advisor, sex, disease status (anamnesis), risk of job, subscription types, investment patterns of variable insurance, personal versus corporate contracts and driving status, etc. The most significant factor was the advisor (in case where the recruiter and the collector were different) status, whether it has been changed or not. The second most important factor was the reward type 2 (annuity insurance). Then, the variable insurance investment tendency 4 (safety-pursuing type), and 5 (risk-aversion type) affected the outcome respectively. This research explores the ways in which the life insurance industry can prolong the contracts, the new market for it, the necessity of the advisors’ long-term commitment, the program consulting, and the improvement of the investment aspects.

政府規制緩和가 觀光호텔 經營成果에 미치는 影響에 관한 硏究

The tourism industry has not only been regarded as a way of the acquisition of foreign currencies, but also brought up as a notional strategic industry all over the world, because it enhances the national prestige abroad and international good will. From this point of view, government has to ease and abrogate restrictions on the tourism such as accommodations, entertainments etc. The aim of this study is to surrey how much the regulation appeasement policy driven by government has effected local tourism industry, and especially, focusing on the field of hotel management. First, the hypothesis was right that the government relaxation of restriction on the tourism is able to have positive effect on hotel management. Because revised The Law of Tourism Promotion and related laws in and before 1999. Second, the additional relaxation of restriction on tourism has a good influence on hotel management. Third, our government tightened restriction in the early of 1990's and it had a negative effects an the tourism. Forth, the relaxation of restriction by government has been measured different according to the characteristic of population statistics. Finally, the relaxation of restriction on the tourism driven by government has positive effects in hotel management and additional relaxation has been demanding by hotel industries.
