원석공예를 이용한 헤어장신구 개발에 관한 연구

According to analysis of the status of rough gemstone crafts, the most of small domestic workshop makes a jewelry with circle-style gemstones and some of overseas company makes a rough gemstone craft with minimal work. However, most of the domestic and international rough gemstone jewelry crafts pendent, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, but hair ornaments was difficult to find. In beauty industry, the necessary of hair ornaments for the expression of personality is increasing and the need to attain a variety of hair styles with hair ornaments is expending, too. my rough gemstone crafts study provide the new possibility with an area of hair art extension in Korea through the activation of the gemstone craft jewelry. In this thesis, I studied a better understanding of gemstones and gemstone crafts, the basic research of hair ornaments, the status of domestic and international gemstone jewelry and crafts. my approach was not a normal materials and monolithic design techniques but utilizing the new stone craft work by presenting to the creative development of various style hair ornaments. For more competitive hair gemstone craft production, crafter must concentrate the properties of stones rather than popularity. I made the new stone craft based on the following principles derived from previous studies. First, the small processing for natural stone crafts. Second, basically the hair ornaments, too thick or weighing form is avoided. Third, when selecting the type of rough stone, you choose thin or rectangular stones that are not large will ever use. Fourth, consist of various metal craft method and gemstone craft technique to attach each others to produce a variety of forms. Fifth, different production techniques applied to the other part of the craft except the rough stone. Sixth, try to craft jewelry, gemstones, depending on being not used technique in domestic that is minimal work to rough stones. In this study, hair ornaments with craft is actually 12 stone works were produced during productions. natural ecological environment and natural images selected from the property of the stones, such as shape and color features were produced by selecting a rough stones. Craft results, compared with a commercial stone, in the wild, This study attempt to be better with hair jewelry with gemstone crafts in hair art, and field studies were made of works based on it with the next gemstone jewelry. crafts present on the rough side of stone and has proposed a new fabrication techniques hair ornaments with stones and then suggested a extension of the scope of possibilities presented. 국내외 원석공예 현황을 분석한 결과, 국내에서는 소규모공방을 중심으로 원형형태의 원석을 주로 이용한 장신구가 주류를 이루고 해외에서는 몇몇 장신구회사에서 원석의 최소한 가공을 통한 작품을 제품화하였다. 하지만 대부분 국내외 원석공예 장신구는 펜던트나 목걸이, 귀걸이, 팔찌류가 가장 많았고 헤어장신구는 발견하기 힘들었다. 개성표현을 위한 헤어 장신구의 필요성이 증대되고 다양한 스타일을 연출할 수 있는 헤어 장신구 및 기타 장신구 사용이 더욱 증가되는 추세에 따라 본 연구는 한국의 원석공예의 활성화를 통하여 원석을 이용한 헤어장신구의 영역을 확장시켜 나갈 수 있는 가능성 제시하고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 원석과 원석공예에 대한 이해, 헤어장신구에 대한 기초연구, 국내외 원석공예 장신구의 현황을 살펴보고, 현재 헤어 장신구의 획일화된 소재와 디자인에서 벗어나 새로운 원석공예를 기법을 활용한 작품을 제시함으로써 다양한 헤어 장신구의 개발을 하고자 하였다. 경쟁력 있는 원석공예 헤어장신구 제작을 위해서는 대중성 보다는 원석의 특성을 살려 제작해야 한다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 통해 도출된 방안을 토대로 다음과 같은 원칙으로 작품제작 하였다. 첫째, 원석 가공을 최소화하여 원석공예의 장점인 자연미, 단순미를 살리는 것을 원칙으로 삼는다. 둘째, 헤어장신구의 특성상, 너무 두껍거나 무게가 나가는 형태는 지양한다. 셋째, 원석의 종류를 선정 시 두께가 얇은 장방형의 원석 계열 또는 크지 않는 원석을 사용토록 한다. 넷째, 원석 자체만으로 구성하는 것이 아니고 금속주물과 추가적인 원석을 덧대거나 붙이도록 하여 다양한 형태를 연출한다. 다섯째, 원석자체는 가격이 저렴하고 가공이 적은 장점을 살리기 위해 나머지 구성요소 부분에 여러 가지 제작기법을 적용한다. 여섯째, 원석공예 장신구 현황 분석결과에 따라 기존에 사용 중인 원형, 타원형 등의 일반적이고 대중적인 가공기법이 아닌 국내에 원석 최소처리 제작기법을 적용한다. 본 연구에서는 실제로 원석공예를 이용한 헤어장신구를 12작품 제작하였으며 작품 제작 시, 자연 생태환경에서 편안하고 자연스러운 이미지를 선정하여 원석 중에서 형태 및 색상 등 특징을 잘 살린 원석을 선택하여 제작하였다. 제작결과, 상업적인 원석공예품에 비해 원석의 거칠면서도 투박한 느낌이 나지만 원석자체의 굴곡이나 형태를 그대로 유지한 작품설계를 하였으며, 주제는 자연적인 느낌을 보다 강하게 전달하고 주변 주물 제작 시 도시적인 기법을 사용하여 자연과 도시의 조화라는 느낌을 갖게 하였다. 본 연구는 일반적이지 않은 기법을 사용하여 원석공예를 이용한 헤어장신구 분야를 연구하고 작품으로 제작하였으며 이를 토대로 향후 원석공예를 이용한 장신구에 원석의 거친 면을 살리는 새로운 제작기법을 사용하여 원석을 이용한 헤어장신구의 영역을 확장시켜 나갈 수 있는 가능성 제시하였다.

제주해녀 노동요를 활용한 동화 스토리텔링

문화콘텐츠에 원천 소재를 제공하는 문화원형은 그 자체가 인간의 삶에 대한 모든 것을 담고 있으며, 그 문화원형이 유형이든 무형이든 간에 인간 삶의 이야기와 정서‧지식‧교양 등 다양한 문화적 요소들을 담고 있다. 문화콘텐츠의 창조적 상상력은 인문학적 지식 토대 위에서 가능한 상상력이며, 그 대표적인 방법이 ‘스토리텔링’이다. 제주해녀 문화는 2016년에 유네스코 인류무형문화유산으로 등재되었다. 이는 해녀 문화가 지역적 한계를 넘어 세계적으로 인정받을 수 있는 문화적인 가치를 가지고 있기 때문이다. 제주의 민속‧산업‧신앙‧풍토‧기후를 반영하여 다양하게 구연되는 해녀 노동요는 해녀의 사회문화적 가치와 세계 인식을 독특하게 반영하고 있다. 제주해녀들의 정서와 가치관을 들여다 볼 수 있는 해녀 노동요에는 제주 해녀들의 역사와 정서가 고스란히 들어있다. 현재는 시대의 흐름과 환경이 바뀌고 해녀의 수가 급속히 감소해감에 따라 노동요는 작업현장에서 분리되어 사설과 가락만이 전승되고 있으며, 따라서 해녀 노동요를 물질하는 현장에서 듣기는 어렵게 되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 제주해녀들이 불렀던 노동요의 가치를 살펴보고, 적극적으로 바다를 개척하며 불렀던 노동요를 통해 제주 해녀들의 역사를 새롭게 조명하고 어린이들을 대상으로 한 동화로 스토리텔링 하는데 의의를 둔다. Ⅱ장에서는 제주해녀의 노동요의 특성을 개괄하고 해녀노동요의 교육적 가치와 Ⅲ장에서는 제주해녀 노동요의 사례와 여성 의식에 대하여 살펴보았다. Ⅳ장에서는 제주해녀 노동요를 활용한 스토리텔링의 창작으로 동화의 창작배경, 동화의 구성과 스토리를 구상하였다. Ⅴ장에서는 지금까지의 논의를 정리하고 그에 따른 가치와 필요성에 대해 살펴 본 내용을 서술하였다. 동화 ‘진주의 바당’은 어린이들에게 제주해녀들의 역사와 문화를 들여다보는 계기가 되어줄 것이며 교육, 문화산업으로의 영역을 확장시킬 수 있다. 이후에 진행 될 연구에서는 해녀문화 교재활용 등을 통해 어린이들이나 청소년들의 관심을 유도하고 해녀들의 정체성을 이끌어갈 인재양성에도 힘써야 할 것이며, 교육대상의 발달 단계에 따라 연령과 수준에 맞는 프로그램과 지역적 특색을 살리는 안목으로 새로운 콘텐츠의 개발이 시도되어야 할 것이다. The culture of Jeju Haenyos has been registered as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2016. Generally, songs which people chant are inclined to describe, preserve, and reflect the characteristics of their life and culture. The purpose of this study is to re-illuminate and re-evaluate the historical and cultural significance and meaning of labor-songs that have been handed down by Haenyos from generation to generation. In this study, I will also create a children story by analyzing and reflecting the songs and find out the significance of the story. The songs have been chanted for Haenyos to express and represent their hardworking pains and distresses of their life on the one hand, and to reduce and alleviate them on the other hand. So they are involved in Jeju Haenyos’ social and cultural viewpoints and their perceptions of life and social environment. For the purpose, in chapter Ⅱ, I will look into the traits of Jeju Haenyos’ labor-songs and their implications of education. In chapter Ⅲ, the social and cultural consciousness of Jeju’s women will be examined by way of analyzing the songs. In chapter Ⅳ, first of all, the necessary compositional elements of fairy-tale are confirmed and looked over them. Then I design the concrete plan and contents for a creative children story reflecting the characters of the songs. After all, I write a creative fairy-tale, titled “ The sea of pearl.” In chapter Ⅴ, the social, cultural, and educational meaning and significance of the made-up story to the growing generation will be discussed and arranged. In conclusion, geneally, the children story will be of great help to the new generation’s understanding Jeju Haenyos’ way of life and thought including their history and culture. Besides the story is able to be a good example with which Haenyos’ songs can be appropriately utilized socially, culturally, and educationally for the new generations growing in Jeju in order to enhance their sense of identity and their consciousness of Jeju’s history and culture.
