본 논문은 공간의 크기와 잔향의 주파수 응답특성을 고려한 범용의 다양한 음향효과기의 응용을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 공간의 크기가 증가하면 잔향의 길이는 길어지고 잔향의 주파수 응답특성은 고주파수가 감소되는 형태를 가지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 잔향의 특성을 고려하여 설계한 간단한 잔향기의 알고리즘을 기본으로 다양한 음향효과기의 응용방법을 제안하고자 하였다. 최근 휴대용 음향기기와 같은 적은 메모리와 실시간 처리 그리고 낮은 소비전력을 요하는 환경에 적합한 음향효과 기기들이 개발되고 있는 시점에서 본 논문에서는 적은 차수의 시간지연을 이용하여 잔향기를 구성하고 그 잔향기에서 다른 음향효과기들을 구성하는 방법들을 제시하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 음향효과기들이 간단하면서도 음향의 특성을 만족하며 우수한 성능을 보임을 평가를 통해 확인하였다. This study suggests an application of a sound effect instrument for a diverse usage with respect to the size of a space and the response character of reverberation frequency. It is presented here that if the size of a space is increased, the length of reverberation becomes longer and the response character of reverberation frequency would have a mode of reduced high frequency. This study includes an application method of a diverse sound effect instrument based on the algorithm of simple reverberation instrument designed with a consideration of this specific reverberation characteristic. Now a days many instruments of sound effect are being developed using a small size memory such as a portable sound gadget, real time operation, and low level electricity requirement appropriate for the current environment, and this study is suggesting a method of making reverberation instrument using a small difference in time lag, and from this instrument, in turn, would lead to methods of making other sound effect instruments. An evaluation confirmed that the suggested sound effect instrument shows an excellent capability by being simple as well as satisfying the sound characteristics.
