      • Gaussian beam의 回折效果에 대한 硏究

        본 연구에서는 고밀도 광학 디스크인 DVD(Digital Video Disc)에 사용되는 입사광의 단락된 정도에 따른 광학 디스크의 면상에 맺는 회절광의 분포를 조사하였다. 고려된 DVD 시스템의 개구수는 0.6이며 입사광의 파장은 650nm를 사용하였다. 구면수차를 포함하는 DVD 시스템에서는 T₁인 경우 광학 디스크 면상의 최대 강도 값이 크게 나타났으며 입사광의 단락된 정도가 감소할수록 광학 디스크 면상의 최대 강도 값이 크게 나타났다. 무수차 DVD 시스템에서 T₁인 경우 초점심도가 가장 크게 나타났으며 단락된 정도가 감소할수록 초점심도가 커짐을 알 수 있었다. 구면수차를 포함한 DVD 시스템에서 초점이동에 대한 강도 분포는 T₁인 경우 가장 높은 강도 값을 나타냈으며 단락된 정도가 감소할수록 최대 강도 값이 크게 나타났다. 또한 구면수차클 포함한 DVD 시스템의 경우 구면수차가 증가할수록 가우시안 초점면으로부터 최적 초점면의 이동이 크게 나타나고 있으며, 단락된 정도가 감소할수록 초점이동 효과가 작게 나타났다. 이러한 결과들로부터 구면수차가 포함된 DVD 시스템에서 입사광의 단락된 정도가 감소할수록 최대 강도 값은 크고, 초점 심도가 넓어지며, 초점이동에 대한 영향이 작음을 알 수 있었으며, 이러한 결과들은 고밀도 광학 디스크의 개발에 이용될 것이다. This paper investigated distributions of diffracted light imaged on an optical disc surface as a function of truncated degree of incident beam. High dense Digital Video Disc system was considered and the DVD system has NA=0.6, λ=650nm. In the DVD system with a spherical aberration, the maximum intensity of T₁ on an optical disc surface is highest and the maximum intensity on an optical disc surface increases as the truncated degree of incident beam decreases. In the DVD system with a no aberration, the depth of focus of T₁ case is the highest and the depth of focus increases as the truncated degree of incident beam decreases. When the system has a spherical aberration, the defocused maximum intensity of T₁ on an optical disc surface is highest and the maximum intensity on an optical disc surface increases as the truncated degree of incident beam decreases. And the shift of focus increase as a spherical aberration increases and the this effect decreases as the truncated degree of incident beam decreases. We know from above results that in DVD system with a spherical aberration, the maximum intensity and the depth of focus increase and the effect of focus shift decreases as the truncated degree of incident beam decreases. We may use these results to develope high dense optical disc.

        The Study by Using the Ultrasonic Sensor to Detect Heating Degradation Characteristics of the Ferrite Core by SUNG MIN SUK Dept. of Electrical Engineering Graduate school, Dong-A University, Busan, Korea In this study, the detecting characteristics of thermal degradation of the ferrite core have studied. Ferrite cores are used in the manufacture of various electrical and electronic equipment. Thereby, Ferrite degradation also occurs in various forms. In this paper, the characteristics of the degradation of ferrite cores are studied and the changes in amplitude and the TOF are analyzed after subjecting specimens to artificial thermal shock. In this paper, two probes were used in direct contact penetrant method applying longitudinal waves and the change in amplitude was confirmed. The experimental results obtained from this research are summarized as follows; 1. The thermal degradation does not affect the TOF a crack on the Ferrite core. 2. This study will be a base to detect the thermal shock on the Ferrite core.

      • 음향방출실험을 이용한 압력용기 강 용접부의 재료특성평가에 관한 연구

        In this study, AE characteristics were evaluated against the multi-pass weld and PWHT specimens for the pressure vessel steel(SA-240 type 304L) using AE and bending tests. Post weld heat treatment was conducted against weld block and relationship between AE signals and plastic deformation behaviors was discussed including AE characteristics for all specimens. Cracks are mostly initiated at weld region in fields. Accordingly, it is necessary to monitor the micro-fracture procedures which are initiated at weld region for the safety and reliability of the weld structures in industry fields non-destructively. Charpy standard PWHT specimens were extracted from three regions such as the lowest, middle and highest regions of the weld block. Two kinds of specimens were prepared. one of blunt notch(2mm) depth was machined and the other of pre-crack(0.5mm) further was made to the direction of thickness under fatigue load. AE test was conducted against the weldment and PWHT specimens under the three and four point bending loads.

      • 성인여성의 태권도 수련에 따른 신체적 자기개념 변화

        본 연구는 태권도 발전에 한계점으로 지적되고 있는 성인 수련층 특히 여성 수련생의 확보와 신체적 자기개념을 보다 폭넓게 적용하는 것에 목적을 두고 태권도 수련이 성인여성의 신체적 자기개념 변화에 효과가 있는지의 여부를 확인하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 대상은 평택시와 대전시 성인여성을 두 집단으로 나누어 ACSM(2000) 운동 가이드라인 기준에 따라 태권도 참여집단 30명, 비참여집단 30명을 선정한 후6주 간격으로 3차례 반복측정을 통한 이원변량분석 기법을 활용하여 알아보았다. 연구 설계를 토대로 연구 결과를 도출하였고, 이에 대한 논의를 선행연구를 통해 실시하였다. 이 연구를 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 태권도 수련집단과 비수련집단은 측정시점에 따라 유능감 변화에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 태권도 수련집단과 비수련집단은 측정시점에 따라 근력 변화에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 태권도 수련집단과 비수련집단은 측정시점에 따라 건강 변화에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 넷째, 태권도 수련집단과 비수련집단은 측정시점에 따라 지구력 변화에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 다섯째, 태권도 수련집단과 비수련집단은 측정시점에 따라 유연성 변화에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 여섯째, 태권도 수련집단과 비수련집단은 측정시점에 따라 외모 변화에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 일곱째, 태권도 수련집단과 비수련집단은 측정시점에 따라 신체활동 변화에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 여덟째, 태권도 수련집단과 비수련집단은 측정시점에 따라 체지방 변화에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 아홉째, 태권도 수련집단과 비수련집단은 측정시점에 따라 자기존중감 변화에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 열째, 태권도 수련집단과 비수련집단은 측정시점에 따라 신체전반 변화에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 결론적으로 성인여성의 태권도 수련은 유능감, 근력, 지구력, 유연성, 신체활동, 신체전반, 체지방 요인에 효과가 있었고, 건강, 외모, 자기존중감 요인에 효과가 적었다. 하지만 전반적으로 수련기간이 길어질수록 변화된 모습을 보였으므로 태권도 수련은 성인여성의 신체적 자기개념에 긍정적인 효과가 있다고 평가할 수 있다. In this thesis, the effect of Taekwondo practice on change of physical self-image of female adults is investigated for the purposes of drawing adult students, especially female adult students, who are the most difficult group to induce to learn Taekwondo, and of wider application of physical self-image. For a research, 60 female adults from Pyungtaek and Daejun were put into two groups, 30 people in each group, and one group got Taekwondo training according to ACSM(2000) guideline and the other group did not get any training, and conditions of each group were checked and analysed every 6 weeks 3 times by two-way analysis of variance. The result of research is as follows. First, there was a statistically significant difference in change of sense of competence between the two groups at each time of checking. Second, there was a statistically significant difference in change of muscular strength between the two groups at each time of checking. Third, there was no statistically significant difference in change of health between the two groups at each time of checking. Fourth, there was a statistically significant difference in change of staying power between the two groups at each time of checking. Fifth, there was a statistically significant difference in change of pliability between the two groups at each time of checking. Sixth, there was no statistically significant difference in change of appearance between the two groups at each time of checking. Seventh, there was a statistically significant difference in change of physical activity between the two groups at each time of checking. Eighth, there was a statistically significant difference in change of body fat between the two groups at each time of checking. Ninth, there was no statistically significant difference in change of self-respect between the two groups at each time of checking. Tenth, there was a statistically significant difference in change of general physique between the two groups at each time of checking. It can be summarized that Taekwondo practice had an effect on female adults in terms of sense of competence, muscular strength, staying power, pliability, physical activity, general physique and body fat, but it did not have much effect in terms of health, appearance and self-respect. In conclusion, Taekwondo practice can be said to have generally positive effect on self-image of female adults.

      • Quinizarin-based simple and convenient colorimetric sensor for carbon dioxide

        Abstract Quinizarin-based Simple and Convenient Colorimetric Sensor for Carbon Dioxide MinSeok Seong Department of Materials Science and Engineering The Graduate School Seoul National University In search of simple and fast method to estimate the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide, the quinizarin and TBD system was discovered and its mechanism was studied and the applications were tried. From UV-VIS spectrum, the reason behind the change in color of the solution was found to be the different electronic forms of quinizarin. In other words, the color of the quinizarin solution was orange yellow when quinizarin was neutral while its color changed to purple once mixed with TBD as a result of deprotonation. Also, the molar ratio of quinizarin to TBD was 1 to 1 because there was no increase in the strength of the absorption band when TBD was excessive whilst there was a decrease when TBD was deficit. Also, the shift of the absorption band was observed as a result of TBD binding with carbon dioxide and giving back protons to quinizarin. From 1H-NMR spectrum, the hydroxyl proton of quinizarin was observed initially but it was soon given to TBD. Also, the fact that TBD bound itself with carbon dioxide was verified by the 13C-NMR spectrum as a new peak was observed at 161 ppm. In assistance with FT-IR spectrums, the proposed mechanism was supported once more. Quinizarin loses a proton to TBD and the protonated TBD loses the proton as it binds with carbon dioxide. As a result, the color of the solution changed from purple to yellow. The intensity of the vibrational modes for the corresponding functional groups changed accordingly; N-H bond decreased and O-H bond increased. For the experimental parts, the saturation volume of carbon dioxide was studied; the total volumetric capacity of the detecting system at different concentrations were measured and it was used to estimate the approximate response time and detectable concentration of carbon dioxide for each concentration of the system. The response time of the system at given concentration of carbon dioxide was figured out in the next step. As predicted, the system with lower concentrations of the chemicals had a shorter response time. However, the systems with the other organic bases such as DBU and piperidine were found to be not fast enough to detect the concentration of carbon dioxide fast compared to the system with TBD at the same concentration. Most importantly, the system could be recycled for at least 3 to 5 times and the performance was maintained relatively well. The system could actually be re-used upto 10 times but it became harder and harder to notice the color change when re-used too many times. Known the properties of the system as sensor, new applications were tried.. For solidification, TBD was physically fixed onto silica and it was successfully done. Nextly, the solid TBD was dipped in the quinizarin solution to become blue. Although the system was seemingly ready, it was not be able to interact with the atmospheric carbon dioxide and did not undergo any color change. Obviously, the solid system failed to interact with carbon dioxide because of too high thermodynamic barrier between solid and gas. The other option was an Agarose gel technique. The quinizarin and TBD solution was made and mixed with hot agarose solution and cooled down. However, the gel had too much viscosity so the response time was significantly increased.
