Purpose: This study was conducted to confirm the effect of dual task training on cognitive function, activities of daily living, and quality of life in stroke patients, and to determine the difference between the visual dual task group and the auditory dual task group. Method: 21 stroke patients admitted to hospital Y in Gyeonggi-do and receiving rehabilitation treatment were assigned to 11 visual double task group(VCDT) and 10 auditory dual task group(ACDT) for a total of 6 interventions. Weekly, 5 times a week, 30 sessions, 30 minutes per session, 10 minutes of visual and auditory double task training and 20 minutes of daily life training were implemented for each group. As pre and post tests, the Korean version of Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA-K), the Korean Modified Bathel Index (K-MBI), and Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) were performed. Results : Significant improvement was seen in the VCDT group of MoCA-K and COPM-satisfaction before and after each group's intervention (p<.05), and significant improvement was shown in both VCDT and ACDT groups of MBI (p<.05). Although there was no significant difference in the amount of change in MBI and COPM-performance between groups, the change in MoCA-K and COPM-satisfaction was found to be improved in the VCDT group than in the ACDT group (p<.05). Conclusion: Through this study, when visual and auditory dual task training was applied to stroke patients, it was confirmed that dual task training was an effective intervention method for cognitive function, activities of daily living, and quality of life. In addition, it was confirmed that the visual dual task was more effective than the auditory dual task. Therefore, it was found that the visual dual task was more effective in clinical practice than the auditory dual task.
