체조활동을 포함한 통합적 동작교육활동이 유아의 기본운동능력과 신체표현능력에 미치는 효과

본 연구의 목적은 체조활동을 포함한 통합적 동작활동이 유아의 기본 운 능력과 신체 표현 능력에 효과가 있는지에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 토대로 연구문제는 다음과 같이 설정하였다. 1. 체조활동을 포함한 통합적 동작교육활동이 유아의 기본운동능력에 효과가 있는가? 2. 체조활동을 포함한 통합적 동작교육활동이 유아의 신체표현능력에 효과가 있는가? 본 연구의 대상은 경기도 용인시에 위치한 G어린이집 만4세 만5세 유아 50명으로 체조활동을 포함한 통합적 동작활동에 참여하는 실험집단 25(남 13,여12)명과 비교집단25(남 13,여 12)명으로 구성되었다. 본 실험은 8월 4일부터 9월 29일까지 8주 동안 매주 2회씩 총 15회 걸쳐 15개의 활동으로 실시 하였으며 실험집단에는 체조활동을 포함한 통합적 동작교육활동을 비교집단에는 선행연구에서 이루어진 통합적 동작활동을 실시하였다. 실시 시간은 매회 30-35분 정도 소요되었다. 기본운동능력 검사도구는 김은심(1994)이 사용한 것을 이용하였다. 김은심(1994)은 Hoffman, Young과 Klesus(1981)가「Meaningful Movement For C hildren에 제시한 Self-Assessment List와 Denver Developmental Scree ning Test를 토대로 김혜옥(1985)이 구성한 문항 내용과 Flinchum(1975)의 Motor Ability Test의 문항을 기초로 재구성하여 기본운동능력검사를 제작하였다. 창의적 신체표현능력 발달 검사 도구는 Laban(1975) 에 의해 제안된 동작개념의 기본 요소를 기초로 하여 배현숙(1990)이 작성한 검사 도구를 토대로 김은심(1994)이 수정한 것을 사용하였다. 연구문제를 검증하기 위해 SPSS 12.0을 사용하여 공변량 분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체조활동을 포함한 통합적 동작교육활동은 유아의 기본동작능력에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 즉 체조활동을 포함한 통합적 동작활동을 경험한 실험집단은 비교집단과 비교하여 기본동작의 하위요인( 말뛰기, 미끄러지기, 스키핑)에서 유의하게 높은 점수를 보였다. 둘째, 체조활동을 포함한 통합적 동작교육활동이 유아의 신체표현능력에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 체조활동을 포함한 통합적 동작활동을 경험한 실험집단이 비교집단과 비교하여 신체표현능력의 하위요인(동작의 방향성, 동작의 시간성, 동작의 흐름)에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. The goal of this study is to find out the effect of integrated movement education activity contain gymnastic activity on young children's fundamental & creative physical expression ability Given the goals of this study, the following questions were set up to study. 1. Do integrated movement education activity contain gymnastic activity on young children's fundamental ability ? 2. Do integrated movement education activity contain gymnastic activity on young children's creative physical expression ability ? 2-1. Do integrated movement education activity contain gymnastic activity on young children's motional diversities ? 2-2. Do integrated movement education activity contain gymnastic activity on young children's motional directions? 2-3. Do integrated movement education activity contain gymnastic activity on young children's motional timing ? 2-4. Do integrated movement education activity contain gymnastic activity on young children's motional flow change? 2-5. Do integrated movement education activity contain gymnastic activity on young children's motional expression abilities ? The subjects of this study were 4-and 5-year-old 50 children in G child care center located in Yong-in, Kyun-gi do. The study subjects were composed of an experimental group with 25 infants. 13 boys and 12 girls, who participated in integrative motional activities including gymnastic exercise and a comparative group with 25 infants, 13 boys and 12 girls. The experiment in this study was performed with 15 programs for 8 weeks from August 4th to September 29th and twice a week 15 times in total. The experimental group was subjected to integrative activities including gymnastic exercise, while the comparative group was subjected to integrative motional activities, which were conducted in previous studies. The activities lasted for 30-35 minutes each time. The tool used to test basic motional ability development was the questions built up by Hye-ok Kim(1985) based on Hoffman and Young Klesus (1981)'s「Meaningful Movement For Children」, Self-Assessment List and Denver Developmental Screening Test; and the one reorganized by Eun-sim Kim(1994) on the basis of Flinchum(1975)'s Motor Ability Test questions. The tool used to test creative physical expression ability development was the one modified by Eun-sim Kim(1994) based on Hyun-suk Bai's (1990) test tool, which was made on the basis of the basic elements of motion concepts proposed by Laban(1975). To verify the study questions, SPSS 12.0 was used for ANCOVA(analysis of covariance). The results of this study are as follows: First, integrated movement education activity contain gymnastic activity on young children's did positively fundamental ability. The experimental group that underwent integrated movement education activity contain gymnastic activity showed significant differences in terms of sub-factors of fundamental ability motions such as galloping, sliding and skipping compared with the comparative group. Second, integrated movement education activity contain gymnastic activity on young children's did creative physical expression ability The experimental group that underwent integrated movement education activity contain gymnastic activity showed significant differences from the comparative group in terms of the sub-factors of physical expression ability such as motional direction, motional timing and motional flow.
