수학교원 재교육의 목적은 교원들로 하여금 학생들에게 보다 유익한 학습을 경험하게 하기 위한 새로운 방법론을 터득하게 하고 수학이나 공학의 발달에 따라 학생들이 새로이 학습해야할 중요한 수학적 개념이나 절차에서의 변화가 무엇인지를 확인하게 함으로서 교원으로서의 전문성 제고를 위한 기회를 제공하기 위한 것임으로 목적대로 라면 연수에 많은 시간을 할애한 사람은 모든 학생들로 하여금 제대로 학습할 수 있도록 가르칠 수 있는 능력을 지녀야 함이 당연한 일이라 할 것이지만 현실적으로 그렇지 못하다는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 이처럼 비효율적인 연수 현실을 개선할 수 있도록 연수 후 연수 교재의 효과적인 활용 방안을 찾아봄으로써 수학과 교원 재교육 내용과 교재의 활용 측면에서의 개선 방안을 모색하려는 것이 이 연구의 목적이다. 위와 같은 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 아래와 같은 하위수준의 목적은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육과정에 나타난 수학교과의 특성을 추출한다. 둘째, 현직교원연수의 교재내용을 단원별로 분류한다. 셋째, 교육과정과 연수교재와의 관련성을 찾아 유사점과 차이점을 탐색한다. 이론적 배경으로 교원, 교원 연수, 교육과정과 수학의 학문적 체계 중에서 집합론, 대수학, 해석학, 기하학, 선형대수학, 확률과 통계, 이산수학, 전산수학, 경제수학과 수학의 특성과 수학 교육의 목적을 기초로 하여 제 1차∼7차 교육과정에서는 1차 교과과정, 2차 교과과정, 3차 교육과정, 4차 교육과정, 5차 교육과, 6차 교육과정, 7차 교육과정을 다루고 있으며, 교육과정 분석에서는 수학의 학문적인 체계와 교육과정에 관하여 논한 후 일반연수교재 분석을 하여 다음 과 같은 결론을 얻게 되었다. 첫째, 교육과정에 나타난 수학교과의 특성은 대수, 해석, 기하, 통계의 분야는 1차부터 7차 교육과정까지는 큰 차이점을 발견하지는 못하였으나, 6차 교육과정 이후 컴퓨터의 활용을 강조하였음이 발견되었다. 둘째, 일반연수 교재의 단원별 내용을 살펴보면 대수, 해석, 기하, 통계를 공통으로 하였고 컴퓨터를 활용하여 수업현장에 이용하는 내용으로 편성되어있다. 셋째, 연수교재의 내용에서 대수, 해석, 기하의 영역은 고등학교 교육과정에는 나타나지 않는 전공분야의 내용이 대부분으로 이루어져 있다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. This research is aimed to measure and evaluate, and to raise mathematics teachers' competency on key concepts and processes of the subject matter for duration of both training and development. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to search for improving on efficient reality for research in an aspects of a context for mathematic teachers' reeducation and a use of training material by seeking a device for the effective utilization of education training material after the study. Objectives for attaining a main purpose already written are the followings. Firstly, it will drawn out characteristics of mathematics appeared in curriculums. Secondly, it will be classified as contexts in current education training materials by section. Thirdly, finding out connection between the existing and coming curriculum and education training materials, it will be explored their similarities and differences. As a theological background based on in-service teacher training, manifest curriculum, set theory, algebra, analysis, geometry, linear algebra, probability, statistics, discrete mathematics, computer mathematics, economic mathematics as disciplinary system of mathematics, characteristic of mathematics and purpose of mathematics education, after a research for all of the 1st to the 7th curriculum, and discussing scientific system of mathematics and curriculum in a curriculum analysis part, it will be reached to a conclusion like followings, through an analysis of the training and development materials in general level. Firstly, the characteristics of mathematics appeared in curriculums is that from 1st to 7th curriculum there are no great differences in the sections of algebra, calculus, geometry and statistics, but there were emphases on using a computer after 6th curriculum. Secondly, examining contexts in the liberal education training material by section, algebra, calculus, geometry and statistics are common and they are organized for using in classroom by computer. Thirdly, it is come to a conclusion that the most part of the algebra, calculus, geometry and statistics section in the education training materials are organized with specific major field not included in secondary school curriculum.
