사범대학의 생물교육관련 전공 교육과정과 중등생물교사 임용고사와의 관련성 분석

본 연구는 사범대학의 생물교육관련 교육과정과 중등생물교사 임용고사와의 관련성을 분석하여 그 개선 방안을 제시하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 11개 사범대학 생물교육관련 전공의 교육과정과 최근 5년간의 임용고사 문항을 비교 분석하였고, 이를 중등학교의 생물교육과정과 비교 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 각 사범대학은 대학마다 독자적인 편제로 교육과정을 운영하고 있었으며, 졸업학점이나 교과목의 편제도 다양하였다. 각 사범대학에서 운영하고 있는 교과목은 15~21개로 42학점 이상을 이수하도록 규정한 교원자격검정령 보다 더 많은 교과와 학점을 이수하도록 하고 있었다. 둘째, 임용고사는 기본이수과목의 4~8개 교과에서만 주로 출제되어 고등학교의 생물Ⅱ에서 다루는 모든 분야가 포함되지 않았다. 즉, 대학에서 4년간 배운 내용을 4~8개 교과에서 15개 문항 내외로 평가하여 교사를 임용하고 있었다. 셋째, 중등학교 생물교육과정의 대부분은 사범대학 교육과정상의 동물생리학, 식물생리학, 생태학, 유전학, 발생학, 세포생물학, 진화학 분야였으며, 이를 바탕으로 한 사범대학 생물교육관련 전공 교육과정의 표준화가 필요하였다. 결론적으로, 사범대학은 중등학교의 교원 양성을 목적으로 하는 기관이므로 생물교육 전공만의 독특한 교육과정을 개발하여야 할 필요가 있으며 특히, 중등학교 생물교육과정과 보다 더 밀접하게 연계된 표준화된 교육과정이 개발되어야 할 것으로 사료된다. 또한 임용고사는 사범대학 교육과정의 정상화를 위하여 대학의 성적 반영 비율을 더 높이는 방안을 검토하여야 하고, 고사의 분야별 출제 비율에 중등학교 교육과정이 고려되어야 할 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between teachers' college curriculum and Teachers' Appointment, and to present the plan for improvement. For this study, 11 teachers' colleges curriculum in biology education and questions of Teachers' Appointment for five years were analyzed. And the following results were gained through comparing with the Secondary School curriculum. First, colleges of education ran unique curriculum respectively and were various in credits for graduation and the table of organization in subjects. The number of subjects that teachers' colleges ran was 15~21 and the students completed more subjects and credits than Official Approval for Teachers' Qualification in which more than 42 credits must be completed. Second, they mostly made questions from only 4~8 subjects among basic subjects, and all fields of high school biologyⅡ were not included. Namely, teachers are being appointed through exam that consists of 15 questions that are made from only 4~8 subjects among the whole curriculums in college. Third, most of Secondary School curriculums in biology were composed of animal physiology, plant physiology, ecology, genetics, embryology, cell biology, and evolutionary science. So on the basis of this, standardization of teachers' college curriculum in biology is needed. In conclusion, teachers college must develope unique curriculum for biology major because it aims at training Secondary School teachers, and teachers college curriculum of biology must be standardized to be connected with Secondary School curriculum of biology. We must consider that college records must be reflected in Teachers' Appointment more than now for normalization of teachers' college, and Secondary School curriculum must be taken into consideration about proportion in Teachers' Appointment.
