自主財源 伸張을 爲한 經營收益事業의 擴大方案 : 全羅北道를 中心으로 = Expansion Device of Profit-making-Business for the Sake of Enlargement of Self-Supporting-Finance : with Special Reference to the Case of JeonBuk-Province

This paper discusses the way of managing "Profit -making-Business" to in-crease the revenue of local government. For this purpose, this paper is organized as follows.
First, I attempt to point out the main problem in the budget of local government by examining its structure of non-tax revenue.
Second, I attempt to examine the current status of using the management technique in local finance, and compare and analyze the case studies in several counties of JeonBuk-province and in foreign countries(ie, Japan).
Thirdly, I suggest the way of developing the profit-Making-Business in local government.
And the main methodology used in this paper is literature review, by which we examine the theoretical arguments and practical reasons for developing the Profit -making -Business.
I show how useful the currently running Profit-making-Business is for bud-get-financing in local government. Specially, the case studies will show the importance in local government. Abstract of each chapter of this paper are as follows.
The 1st chapter explains the sample and sample period. The sample is the several countries in JeonBuk-province and sample period is 1986-1991.
The 2nd chapter defines what Profit-making-Business is and why it is useful in the context of local finance.
The 3rd chapter looks at the current status of local financing in the several countries in JeonBuk-province, and the contribution of currently running Profit-Making-Business. It also examines the excellent case studies(ie, Chonju city, Kursan city, Nanwon Country).
The 4th chapter points out the problems in Profit-Making-Business and suggests the solutions for them in the respect of administration behavior, administration structure, its environment and financial operation.
The 5th chapter suggests the necessity of Profit-making-Business and the future research works.
